For those who want to keep fit whilst on holiday, sailing can be found at the picturesque villages of Appledore and Instow whilst Woolacombe and Croyde are renowned for being a surfers’ paradise and Exmoor National Park caters for keen walkers.
On arrival at this grand property, take in the beautiful views before making your way through the front door. The main lounge is to the left and offers comfortable seating with wood burning fire alongside a bar area offering a relaxing space to unwind after exploring the local area. The dining area is to the right and caters for those important family meals and more formal dinners, it also has a sound system for some enjoyable background sounds. With a well-equipped kitchen, delicious dishes are certainly on the menu. The kitchen is complete with two Range electric oven and gas hobs, two fridge/freezers, two dishwashers, microwave, two coffee machines and a breakfast bar. Next to the kitchen is a nook with a further, smaller dining table, perfect for leisurely breakfasts or board games. Just off the kitchen is the utility room with two washing machines and two tumble dryers. There are also three separate WCs on the ground floor. The grand staircase winds its way up to the first floor where you can find ten bedrooms all with TV’s as follows; Twin room with river views and en-suite shower room and WC, King-size with balcony and en-suite with shower over bath and WC, Double room with river views and en-suite with shower over bath and WC, Double four poster bed with river views and en-suite with shower over bath and WC, King-size with en-suite shower room and WC, King-size with balcony and river views, en-suite and shower over bath and WC, King-size with en-suite shower room and WC, Super-King zip-and-link (can be made as twin upon request) with en-suite shower room and WC. Moving to the second floor you shall find the last two bedrooms to complete the accommodation, comprising of a Twin with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and finally a further Super-King zip-and-link (can be made in to a twin upon request) with balcony and en-suite shower over bath and WC.
The views from the garden are magnificent and a fantastic place to while away a lazy summer afternoon with a good book or garden games with the family. Relax in the sauna, soak in the hot tub or fire up the two charcoal BBQs. There is also a glass pod with seating which is perfectly positioned to admire the views.
