Visit the Italianate village of Portmeirion or take a trip on the Ffestiniog Railway (both 5 miles near Porthmadog) or go to the world's fastest zip wire Llechwedd Slate Caverns (12 miles). Explore the coast visiting pretty towns and villages dotted with shops, museums and galleries in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
