The local area has so much to offer, from walking an Alpaca to some extreme outdoor activities and water sports for those in your party who like an adrenalin rush.
Entering the property, you will enter the bright spacious hallway. There are three reception/lounges on the ground floor, you will never feel on top of each other in this house. One formal lounge with a bay window with stunning fell views, there is a cosy wood burner and it is the perfect place to enjoy a few drinks and catch up on stories from that day. Opposite there is a second lounge with large Smart TV and gas fire and to the rear of the property with views over the garden there is a cosy lounge with log burner and Smart TV. There is a cloakroom area in the hallway which has plenty of space for your walking boots and jackets. The open-plan kitchen/diner is a fabulous social space to gather over some nice food and glasses of wine at the end of the day while looking out over fabulous Cat Bells. The large dining table is set in the sunroom which has access and views over the garden and patio, this is a lovely extended area to enjoy some alfresco dining on a summer’s evening. The table comfortably seats 20 and the bespoke kitchen with AGA (which consists of two electric ovens, an electric hob,) and an island which has a breakfast bar and stools to sit up and enjoy a coffee or chat whilst cooking, which also accommodates a fridge/freezer and dishwasher. On the half landing up to the first floor there is a games room with TV and games console. On the first floor, there is one super-king bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC, two king-size bedrooms each with an en-suite shower room and WC, one twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower over the bath and WC, and one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC. On the second floor, there are two super-king bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms—one with a shower over the bath and WC, and the other with a bath, separate shower, and WC. There are also two twin bedrooms with en-suite facilities (one with a shower over the bath and WC, the other with a shower and WC), as well as one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC. There is also a utility room on the first floor which has a washing machine.
There is a spacious private garden and extensive patio with seating with views over the fells. There is ample private parking available on the private drive to the front and side of the house which will accommodate up to seven cars.
