The River House is located on 10 acres in the Huron National Forest surrounded by miles of undeveloped federal land. Situated on a very scenic portion of the Ausable River which has been designated a national wild and scenic river. Also, a blue ribbon trout stream and world class for fishing. The property has countless towering old growth pines and is carved out of the woods. It is an ideal location for fishing trips, family vacations, or just a quiet nature retreat.
The River House sits back and overlooks the river, there is a short path that winds down through the trees to the rivers edge. There are two fire pits, one at the rivers edge and another in front of the cabin. The property has an abundance of space for yard games or walks in the forest. Close to hiking trails as well.
The cabin is 4500 Sq Ft with 5 total bedrooms and four full bathrooms. There are two bath tubs and one half bath. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower and tub. The master also has beautiful window views and a king bed. There is another bedroom that has an attached bathroom with shower. This bedroom has two single beds and a living room with direct tv. Two bedrooms have double beds each and one bedroom has two queen beds.
