The Orchard Cottage @ Clonalis House Self Catering

The Orchard Cottage situated in the walled garden at Clonalis House sleeps up to six ppl & comprises of two twin bedrooms & one double room all having either a shower or bath ensuite. Downstairs has an open plan kitchen/dining area with a wood burning stove & a sunny comfortable sitting room with wonderful views into the walled garden. There are also a hard tennis court & b.b.q. area exclusively available for guests’ use.

Electricity is included in the rate with 3 to 5 hrs heating per day during the summer depending on the month if required & 8 hours heating per day in the winter additional heating is charged at market rates.

Please note charging your Electric Vehicle is NOT PERMITTED from our cottages. There is 4 charging points in Castlerea 5 mins by car.

At Clonalis we have 4 self catering cottages: The Garden, Mews & Stewards House including The Orchard Cottage. Overall we can accommodate 25 ppl in all of our cottages in the heart of Roscommon making Clonalis ideal for groups of family or friends holidaying or celebrating together

The Forge at Clonalis provides a large self-contained room that offers guests with group accommodation (who have booked all 4 cottages) bookings the facility to dine & socialise together in the summer months. The Old Forge has seating for 25 with a large welcoming wood burning stove. This can be booked separately & paid for upon arrival.

Clonalis is a great base for walking groups with our woodlands forming part of the Suck Valley Way Walk.

Well behaved dogs are allowed in our cottages.

Dogs have to be kept on a lead at all times when outside. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or upstairs.

As there is a working farm on the estate owners are responsible for their dog at all times. We ask all owners to behave responsibly & clean up after their dog. A small cleaning charge of €35 per dog which is payable upon booking.
