This historic house in Klingenmünster, built in 1689, sits on the edge of the Palatinate Forest, surrounded by vineyards and just a few minutes from the medieval Landeck Castle. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms offer plenty of space for groups to settle in. Antique furniture, vintage finds and historic details blend with modern touches—the result of a careful restoration. The fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area and a stylishly furnished living room give you plenty of space to cook and spend time together. The on-site sauna awaits you after a long day. The courtyard features seating and a barbecue – a sheltered spot for evenings outdoors. The Palatinate Forest forms part of Germany’s largest contiguous forest area and is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Well-marked trails lead through the woods, past rock formations and huts. Landeck Castle and Madenburg Castle are among the most impressive castle ruins in the Palatinate. Along the Southern Wine Route, you can visit wineries and taste Palatinate wines. Wissembourg in Alsace, with its half-timbered houses and abbey church, is a great destination for a day trip.
