Alohilani is a breathtaking five bedroom two-story luxury home nestled above the Poipu coastline that can accommodate up to 10 people. Built with classic elegance and tall ceilings, Alohilani is an immaculate, spacious, gated estate beautifully furnished home. It boasts a huge swimming pool, with a peaceful and private yard area and stunning views of the ocean and the mountains.

Three of the five spacious bedrooms are “ensuite”, two of which have private balconies, and all bedrooms feature ductless wall mounted air conditioners. There is marble, limestone, and granite as well as hardwood floors throughout and the bathrooms have beautifully modern fixtures and cabinetry and walk in showers and a Jacuzzi bath tub. There are 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and a set of twin beds.
There is a spacious, fully equipped, gourmet kitchen with an Island and a Wolf Range as well as a Gas BBQ outdoors. The game room complete with a chess/backgammon table will be a hit with the kids.

Poipu Beach and Brennecke's Beach are just a 10-12 minute walk away. There are shops, grocery stores and restaurants within a two mile radius.

Perfect Vacation Rental

We loved our time at this house. It is a great location and was even more beautiful than the photos. It was a great place for all of our family to gather and celebrate our parents' 40th Anniversary. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again in the future.

Family time time

The home was beautiful, better than the pictures. Plenty of room for our family group of 9. The weather was great. We also enjoyed the beach club for our toddlers. A great time was had by all.

Wonderful property

This house was perfect for our extended family of 7 - enough lounge chairs by the pool and pool/beach towels for everyone, quiet location within a 10 minute walk to Brennecke and Poipu Beach, well equipped kitchen and bbq for cooking our own meals, and air conditioned bedrooms for all. The two big containers of beach toys/chairs/snorkel equip/etc were great too. All in all very well equipped, clean and in the perfect location - just wonderful for us!

Wonderful getaway in paradise!

What a fantastic place to bring my family for thanksgiving. This is a lovely house on a fantastic property! The beds were comfy, bathrooms and kitchens updated, and great AC in the bedrooms. The neighborhood was quiet and very safe. I didn’t even hear roosters (unlike my last stay in poipu) The kids loved the pool but too chilly for us adults, however the house belongs to the poipu athletic club which had an awesome pool and workout areas. Just loved this place!!! Mahalo!

Perfect fun for all!

We had a ball. The space is very comfortable . The kitchen well supplied and who doesn’t love a swimming pool that’s ready for you whenever. Even the wind on Kauai last week didn’t ruin the fun because the water was always there to play. We did not access the community center and would not have chosen to at that particular fee but others seem to like it.

Beautiful Home & Well Maintained Property

We had a great stay at Alohilani - Private 5 Bedroom Villa w/ Pool & 5 AIR CONDITIONED BEDROOMS. The check in was easy, the communication with the property manager was fast and friendly, and the home was perfect. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and the things you need to cook your own meals. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beds were too. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. This was a nice, central location with the tranquility of being far off the busy roads. The internet speed was great for those that used it. The house was big enough for our 10 guests to visit but not feel crowded at all. This is a great choice for your stay in Kauai !!

Alohilani Paradise

Kathy C from Victoria, BC recommends this vacation rental We were a family of ten celebrating a 70th birthday. We chose Alohilani because of the swimming pool-- with stairs and a basketball hoop!-- and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. We were not disappointed. It rained the first two days, so we were grateful for the swimming pool where lots of fun was had. We liked the layout of the upper floor: there were two bedrooms on each wing of the house so that parents and children could have bedrooms side by side. A bathroom was accessible for each wing--one with a main bathroom and the other with 2 ensuites. A long staircase led up to these rooms. Luckily even the 3 1/2 year old was able to manage by herself. Upstairs were three lanais which were not used much due to proximity to the upstairs rooms. We 'elders' had a huge bedroom on the main floor with shower and clawfoot tub and a sliding door onto the pool area. The furniture was scaled to large; at 5'1 I saw myself only from the nose up the entire vacation. No problem! The kitchen area was amazing. Lots of room for several adults to prepare and there were oodles of glasses, small plates, bowls, large plates and serving dishes. If you couldn't find it, you just had to keep looking; it was there. Beside the kitchen was a lovely coved area with a round table which looked out at the pool. We ate occasionally at the 10 person table at the front of the house. In the bins outside were many boogie boards and lots of goodies.

Fabulous Family Reunion

We and our 4 married adult children (5 couples) spent 10 nights at Alohilani for our Christmas/New Year holiday reunion. It was perfect for us. Plenty of space and seating inside and out. Great location within walking distance of beaches. We would highly recommend and visit here again!

Great location; wonderful kitchen, back patio/pool, master suite

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! The location was very convenient and was walking distance to Shipwreck beach. It was a short drive to Old Koloa Town for supplies and shopping, and we were there a lot. The kitchen was well equipped, though the amount of starter basics was limited to mostly oil, salt, pepper. There were plenty of pans, plates, prep tools and serving/storing dishes and appliances. The fridge was a good size and worked well. The back patio was lovely with a fully fenced and well-landscaped area. The grill worked well and there was plenty of seating -- perfect for home-cooked outdoor dinners, which we enjoyed on most nights. We also appreciated all the other STUFF that makes a beach vacation a packing nightmare. This included beach towels and beach umbrellas, and bathrooms pre-stocked with basic toiletries (though we would have appreciated a few more paper products throughout the house). Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms were must for our 9 adults. The house was spacious enough for people to spread out. Porches and balconies were nice as was decor. Fans and AC worked well. The only thing that keeps this from being a perfect review were a few broken items that would make us hesitate about booking again if not fixed. For example we had a party of 9, and the sofa bed was broken, so our 9th person slept on just half an opened couch. But the hosts were responsive to texts, and if they verified repairs we would definitely highly recommend!
