The Kitchen includes top-of-the line appliances with a new Wolf Range, beautiful granite counter tops + bar counter, and Large Dinning Table. Kitchen is equipped with the all culinary tools necessary. Every Bedroom has sliding doors that lead outside to patios and/or decks allowing for easy indoor and outdoor access. What an amazing home to stay in for a family and friend get together. The home is more beautiful thank the pictures. We used the pool and had meals together and the house was equipped with umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear. I absolutely wanted nothing more as this house had it all. Andy the host was very welcoming and the best communication came from this homeowner. I can’t wait to plan my return and it will definitely be at this property! Thank you Andy!

Family Getaway!

This property was fantastic! The responsive, gracious owner shared suggestions of things to do. Quick walk to the beach, fantastic pool, and great views. We loved our stay.

Wonderful wedding weekend in Hawaii

The trip was to celebrate the marriage of my Grandson. Our party consisted of 3 adult generations. This home was perfect. Everything you needed for a weekend at the beach was provided. The host Andy was most helpful. He even provided local treats and fresh flowers for our enjoyment. Best family wedding/vacation ever.

I can’t say enough good things about this house. It’s very high end with everything, from the house itself to towels to appliances. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Andy and his wife were so good to talk to if we had any questions or just to check in to see how our stay was going. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The house is setup to accommodate multiple families. We had a group of 9 with room to spare. We had 7 adults and 2 children. The big dining table made it nice for family dinners and cards before bed! The pool was a big hit with all of us. Everything you need for the pool is all there. Everything you need for a day at the beach was plentiful. Perfect stay!

Best House in Kauai!

Absolutely loved this house! Has everything you could possibly need and more! The private pool was perfect, sometimes made it hard to leave to go to the beach. The Poipu athletic club was amazing for my teens that like their daily work out. Beds were so comfy and the deck views amazing! We are already coming back in 2027 and can’t wait!

Heaven on Kauai

The house was beautiful and amazingly well equipped. We could have traveled with just our bathing suits and we'd not have needed anything. The location perfect. Neighborhood is quiet and private. Property owner helpful and great to work with. We travel to the islands annually and it was the best of experiences. Aloha!!

Fabulous House and Location

We absolutely loved this house - my kids said it is their favorite of all the places that we have stayed!! Pros: Lots of room with spacious bedrooms and a bathroom for each (plenty of room for the 10 of us). Deck with great views of the ocean. And the pool (!!!) - beautiful setting and warm enough to swim even in January. The location of the house is ideal. It was a 5-10 min. walk to our favorite of all the beaches where we could ride the waves next to the sea turtles. We had a golf cart which was great for the little ones but the walk is easy. We did not want to go home and would love to return!!! Thank you!

The house was beautiful and very well kept. The deck was great to lounge and enjoy the sunset. All of the amenities were extremely helpful. They had everything you could possible need for the beach and the kitchen was professional. We’d love to stay again!

A family favorite

We love staying at Hoohu Nani. The house is amazing, with everything you need to be comfortable. The pool is great to enjoy and it is in close proximity to lots of great beaches, restaurants and shopping. These owners have everything you need for all your outdoor adventures. We have loved all our stays at this house and will be back for our next vacation.

Fantastic House

This property was just perfect for our group of 9. It was spacious and so well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could possibly want and was a joy to cook in. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and beds were comfortable. Location was great. We were able to walk to several good restaurants. The highlight was seeing turtles and a seal at Brenneckes beach just blocks from the house. Andy, the owner was very responsive and answered any questions we had. We can’t think of anything else he could do to make our stay any better!

Christmas in Hawaii

The house and grounds are beautiful, well stocked and very well maintained. The owner, his son and Linda the Property Manager were very kind and helpful. They put out little thoughtful Christmas touches around the property, like the Candy Cane tree as you came in the door. My grandson loved it. The house felt like our home away from home for the holiday. This is a great place to spend time with family!

50th wedding anniversary

Our family had a fabulous stay at Andy‘s place. We had three generations of our family visiting from mainland US and Germany and everyone enjoyed the entire property. We had plenty of bedrooms, and the AC units were a great addition. The pool and hot tub were also favorite features that we all enjoyed after our long days exploring the island. The Weber BBQ was in use almost every day and extra propane tanks were readily available. We will certainly plan to come back! Thanks for making this big anniversary a very special one! Mahalo!

Amazing

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for a three generational family. As a group, we have rented many houses over the last fifteen years and your house was the best! It had everything we needed and more. We are staying on the Big Island now and the house is fine, but there is no comparison. According to our grandchildren, great pool as well as awesome boogie boarding and snorkeling within walking distance. Sea turtles and monk seals, too, Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Home away from Home

The welcome snacks and flowers on the dining table really set the tone for a great stay. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! 6 adults and four young grandchildren. Very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for, truly amazing. The pool provided hours of great family time together. Location was very convenient. Walking paths provided great viewing opportunities for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Amazing house!!

This house was amazing! We loved the bedrooms all with their own private bath. It made for an awesome space for four couples. Then we gathered in the common space and had a great time. The house had plenty of fridge space for lots of drinks and even had a water cooler! The hot tub was awesome and the pool was spacious enough for all of us and even more! It was a bit of a hike down to the beach as the house was up on a hill. Overall it was an amazing space and we highly recommend it!

Tropical oasis

This was our 3rd year in a row coming to Kauai with my family and we have found our forever vacation spot in Andy’s home. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is fully stocked with anything you need and more. Crib/pack and plays for the littles, stroller, high chair, beach wagon, beach toys, I could go on and on. Andy was so great on quickly answering any questions we may have had during our trip. All the furniture is very nice and the place is unbelievable. We loved watching the sunsets off the deck at night and the quick .5 mile walk to the beach. We can’t wait to come back.

This is a top notch VRBO property!

I can’t even begin to describe how awesome this property is. To start with, it’s a beautiful home, pool and spa. There were eight adults and it was perfectly sized for us. The kitchen was outstanding. We grilled nearly every night and supplemented with fixings cooked in the kitchen. There was not one thing that we wished we had. Andy is one of the most outstanding hosts ever. Very responsive and fulfilled our every need. We hated to go home and for sure will be back again!

Outstanding property, exceeded our high expectations!

This is property is truly slice of paradise. It's a great location, it has oceans views with just a short walk to the beach, numerous restaurants in the area, and less than a10 minute drive to the supermarket. The house has a wonderful layout for a large family with plenty of space to be together and plenty of space to find a quiet moment. Great beds, great showers, excellent linens, overall a very comfortable house. Our kids really enjoyed the large pool, the ping-pong table, and the use of the media room for video games. For those that like to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances, good quality knives, numerous cutting boards, and wide selection of pots and pan. Not only is the property exceptional, the owner, Andy, couldn't be nicer to deal with. I really could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay but suffice it to say that, if we get the chance, we will certainly return to this property. Highly recommend! PS: Before we arrived, the owner told us to feel free to use the herbs, spices, and oils that were in the kitchen. There was olive oil, avocado oil, balsamic vinegar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and more. The place is really set up nicely. We loved it! A big thank you to Andy!

Stay at a house or stay at a HOME!

This is a HOME! So comfortable to come home to this VRBO after spending the day out exploring. We rented this home for 10 days to host our two sons (one married with three children). So eight people total. The home is set up with high end everything! Decorated like the owners lived there full time and asked you watch it while they are away. Need anything? Have a question about something? Call or txt Andy, he is very responsive. Two sets of clothes washers and dryers, one set upstairs, one set downstairs. Don't over pack like I did! Binoculars, beach toys, coolers, umbrellas and flashlights on the nightstands just to name a few thoughtful touches! And what a kitchen...spices and miscellaneous everything. Our day usually started the beautiful lanai/deck...with my wife doing her daily prayers and us putting the final touches to our daily travel plans So peaceful and a view of the ocean! Our day usually ended there as well, with a drink and a sunset. The Kids spent their time in the pool, laughing and splashing or at the ping pong table challenging each other. (They enjoyed the deck too!) This home has a welcoming vibe of comfort and relaxation. The location is perfect for exploring the island. We experienced the Nepali coast three ways, by boat cruise, helicopter and car/hike. All well worth it and just a short drive from the home. For those who golfed, the favorite course was just a short drive also. Incredible awesome pizza? (Koloa) You guessed it, just a short drive away! Turtles and Monk seals? Sorry, you guessed wrong, you can walk to that beach! Read the reviews and do the math, you really can't go wrong renting this HOME! Thank you Andy and Christine! We appreciated your warmth!

We loved everything about this property. Plenty of room with a great layout for families. It was well maintained and had everything we ever needed. Property is in excellent conditions and comes with so many extras that are too numerous to mention. The host was easily accessible and simply a great guy. The location is perfect for Poipu vacationers. We had great privacy on the property but were close to everything. Great house, great location and a great host.

Our Family has been in Real Estate for over 20 years. We built our first home on Kauai in 2000, and then we acquired this property and has been a huge part of our family history by being able to accommodate family and friends over the years.

Why they chose this property

We finished building this home early 2007. We chose this land to build because we were looking to build a home that can accommodate large families (such as ours), multiple families, or groups looking for all of the amenities as a resort but with the privacy of a home.

There is plenty of room to have quiet time in many spaces indoors or outdoors, but also the ability to come together for hanging together, swimming/sitting in the jacuzzi, or finding an area on the lanai to get into a good book.

What makes this property unique

Watching the sunsets while having dinner from the upper lanai is one of our families/guests favorite things to do.

The pool area is daily routine for everyone to enjoy the wonderful weather on the South Shore.

We were previously were with a management company and have decided to manage ourselves to have competitive pricing and to make sure our guests are given the best experience that is possible.
