*Hiller's Pine Haven #1 does not allow pets during any season.*

*As of summer 2020, due to supply/labor shortages in the Northwoods, we will no longer be able to provide bath or beach towels for our guests. Please plan to bring towels for your stay!*

Newly installed kitchen and hard wood oak floors throughout the living room and kitchen enhance the Northwoods atmosphere. This cottage features a large kitchen, superb lake view, 3 queen beds, 2 twin beds and a queen futon.

Comfortable and clean 3 bedroom with great location to our sandy beach. Lakeside deck, private campfire, free WiFi, kayaks, firewood and more! Centrally located to bike trails, snowmobile routes, and walking paths, yet tucked away.

Family vacation

Spent a week at the cabin with a pontoon rental. The cabin was nice. The dock was just down the steps. The grounds crew was blowing leaves at 7 am Friday morning which was unpleasant. It is a vacation property the guests should not awoken by the loud noise of leaf blowers. Other than that the place was very nice.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoy the area and everything, but the cabin had quite a few noticable issues. A few of the beds seemed to be broken, some of the trim around the doors is coming off, almost all of the outlets don't even hold things in, and the water was off for almost a day during our stay. They did come and fix it the next morning though after leaving a voicemail and calling almost 3 times. We are looking at different cabins for next years stay in St. Germain.

Old stove that wouldn't lite and mouse poop. 2nd cottage . Water was hot bath tub didn't work . Hot water heater didn't work very long. Poor TV. Ultimately not even close to worth 1200 for a 4 night stay.

Cabins not marked well

If you are a repeat guest then it’s easy to navigate to your cabin. Numbers on cabins are too small to read from vehicles and not in consecutive order at times. A map should have beeen provided immediately. Website said small row boat would be provided but one wasn’t at our dock. Maybe we needed to request it. Bath towels were provided but website said they wouldn’t be...would’ve helped if I didn’t need to bring so many from home with me that never got used. Kitchen chairs and table should be updated but otherwise everything else was comfortable for our family.

Best location on the lake, another great visit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in cabin 1 at Hiller's Pine Haven, which we have done for 15 years. We come with 9 other families - many who have been staying there for over 40 years. The cabins are clean, spacious enough and appropriately rustic. They are by no means luxury if that's what you are looking for, but the view from our balcony is gorgeous and the water in the West Bay is clear and sandy. The bike trail is a minute away, you can walk to Cathy's, Wolf Pack, the Red Canoe and we have - many times. We sit by the fire pit or on the beach and watch eagles fly overhead on the regular. If you are okay with a nicely updated, but still rustic cabin, you will be very happy here.

I even called & got a different time told to me that wasn't correct. Also cleaning people need to check light bulbs or have extra ones for guest to change. There were 3 not working.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If possible, I would have some of the trees trimmed or small trees removed in front of the cabins so we can see the lake better. We always enjoy sitting in the cabins or on the decks and looking at the lake but if it is blocked by trees and shrubs it takes away the enjoyment of being at the lake.
