Nice cabin in a good location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is a traditional Northwoods lakefront cabin that has been well maintained. Newer flooring and light fixtures/fans, plus comfortable beds. The screened in porch was a nice feature. Plenty of space for 5 of us. Well equipped with everything we needed. However, we did not find a remote for the TV in the main living room, but we really weren't there to watch TV. I would recommend this place if staying on Little St. Germain.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was nicely furnished, everything we needed including a snow shovel! furniture was comfortable, beds could have been better but it isn't the Hyatt. I had bedroom upstairs and friends had bedroom downstairs. Upstairs was hot at night and had to get all extra blankets for downstairs bedrooms. I called and Hiller staff responded. It was better the next night. Overall, it was not over the top but it was not a dive. I would rate it an 8 of 10. Nobody is perfect.

Great cabin on the lake

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this is the second time we've rented this cabin and it works out so well for our family. We have gone in winter both times and it's perfect spot for the kids to ice skate right on the lake outside the door and then we can also snowmobile right from there, either on the trails or just on the lake. We haven't tried the bar/restaurant that's in the front of the cabins b/c it was closed due to lack of staff b/c of COVID. The cabin has just had the kitchen redone and the wood floors put in and it made such a nice difference. All of the bedrooms are good size and have plenty of space for your things. Both bathrooms are great too - plenty of hot water during the cold months. Kitchen is stocked with tons of utensils, plates, bowls, etc. We always bring our own hand soap b/c they only have little bar soaps. We also bring extra blankets b/c the ones on the beds are a little thin. They do have a couple extra blankets and pillows already there - just our preference. We will definitely be coming back in the summer months!We ordered from the pasta place down the street.

Perfect Location

This cabin has a full master upstairs and two bedrooms with a full bath in the lower level. All the cooking utensils provided. For snowmobiling there is designated trailer parking and then you can park your sled next to the cabin. On-site lodge and many restaurants/bars around the area.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well, the place had an excellent view and the inside was very roomy. The kitchen however needed some tlc. Very dirty utensils and cabinet doors fell off. Bathtubs dirty and we found candy wrappers from previous guests.Needs a very good cleaning. Good thing I brought paper products and plastic utensils. I had to clean everything. Whoever they use for cleaning does a very poor job. I was also told there was laundry on site. There is not. You would have to drive about a mile to nearest laundry. Also, the parking is not next to the cabin. there is a lot shared by the rentals which is close by. You can park to unload but then have to park your vehicle in the lot. the beach was real nice and a short walk from the cabin. I fell for the money they charge, they could have included some kayaks. You can rent them but none of the rental through Hiller's are cheap. We rented our boat from Pauls rental in town and was cheaper and easy to work with. The people in the office need to get it together. We inquired about the yoga on the beach and after a couple of phone calls, they said it was cancelled. We came home later and people were walking up from the beach with yoga mats and the yoga event wasn't cancelled. Very annoying when you really wanted to participate. The place has great potential with good management.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: More than enough space for two families with teenagers! We were about to cook meals every night, enough water for everyone to shower and the furniture was very comfortable. Mattresses on the beds in the lower bedroom could have been better, and we never found a pasta strainer, but other than those two items and fact that there was no air in the hottest week in July we have ever had up north, we had everything we needed for a wonderful week!

Fall wedding in the Northwoods

And also rented a pontoon boat (wrote a review for that yesterday) to get us from one side of the lake to the other where my sister's cottage was and where she hosted two of the 3 wedding venues. Great location, great on-site bar/restaurant, easy to fine, put us right in the center of all the wedding activities.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Try to keep short. Have been vacationing at Elbert's Resort for 26 years. Unfortunately, Hiller took over management about 3 years ago. Prices skyrocketed immediately. I was paying $2000 per week plus expenses for an "up north" vacation. Thankfully Hiller made me realize that I can go anywhere in the USA for that money. Good-bye northern Wisconsin. Time to see the USA, like the old Chevy commercial. Hiller is strictly business. Customer loyalty does not apply here. Bring on the Illinois people "northern Wisconsin!"

Outside chairs were filthy. I had to clean them before we sat. I also had to sweep the chairs and porch. For $250 we should have gotten towels. Cedaroma was much nicer.
