Great week in Winter Park

We stayed for a week of skiing. The condo is in a great location. The bus has a pickup just in front of the building to get to town and to the ski area. We had everything we needed in the condo for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back next year.

Perfect get-away!

This was the perfect spot for our family! The pictures and description online were spot on. Everything very clean. The shuttle picks up right outside the building which my boys used every day to go to Winterpark. We loved the fireplace-firewood sold at Safeway in Frazier-just five minutes away.

WinterPark ski trip

This 2 bedroom condo was perfect for our family of four. Great location near restaurants, coffee shops and shops in WP. Short 10 minute drive to Mary Jane parking lot. Very clean and nicely renovated. 1st floor, easy walk to parking lot. Host was excellent! Unit was very warm.

Great stay and cozy home!

We stayed at Bryan's place for a week for skiing and family time. I changed my reservation last minute to come early to help my niece during a surgery, and he was very responsive and accomodating to the request. The apartment was in a great location close to the resort, town, and the Fraser River Trail. It was cute and cozy and the additional supplies such as coffee and shampoo was much appreciated, as was the beer in the fridge! Thank you, Bryan for a great week!

Exceeded expectations

This condo is in an older property but was very nice and comfortable inside - all recently renovated. We had ample room for two adults and one teen. We appreciated the full kitchen, extra half bath, fireplace and coziness. On the negative side, other guests walking above and outside can be noisy but it never bothered us. It has a great location for hopping on the lift shuttles and getting to winter park. The community center was also very nice with lots of amenities. Though the outdoor hot tub could use a refresh. But it is hard to find a complaint about this property

Very small but remodeled and easy to find and access. Only complaint is that you can hear essentially every movement from the unit above as if it is right next to you. Small thing to note is to remember to bring bar soap and shampoo unless you want to share a large Costco sized bottle with whomever was there before you. But nice and clean and accessible. Perfect for what we needed. Located within a HUGE condo complex of several (over 2 dozen) buildings and they are not in numeric order so follow the host directions otherwise you will not find it. Good water pressure for those that care.

We've stayed all over WP/Fraser, but this was our first time a Hi-Country Haus. Pros: - Convenient location (5 minutes to mountain, next to everything in WP, right behind Hernando's, and bus stop is right outside door) - Updated indoor pool/spa/rec center- Nice update here. It did get crowded(we were there after Christmas so expected). Overall kids loved it. - Kitchen and unit very well stocked- Everything we needed was there (pots, utensils, spices, trash bags, TP, wifi, even shampoo and body wash). Hosts are extremely thoughtful and generous here, which really made the stay convenient. Cons (really minor): - Size/layout- We knew it was small when we rented, but with the living room is small to the extent it is difficult to watch TV as a family. Not a big deal, but with only 1 TV in unit (and we were there in college bowl season), it was a minor inconvenience. Age- The building is clearly aged. Not in bad shape, and the owners have updated the bathrooms (which were nice), but the bedrooms, kitchen(minus appliances) and living room were dated and in need of a refresh. Overall- This is a decent value property in a great location. If you have a small crew (we have 2 young girls so it was fine), this unit will work for you. Anymore and I think you'll be on top of each other. Rental process with owner was seamless and easy. Communication and access was perfect. They even left some adult beverages, which although we did not partake, we did appreciate!
