Tucked into the quiet mountain community of Silver Fork, Blanche’s Retreat offers a secluded setting, flexible sleeping arrangements, and direct access to hiking and snowshoeing—all within a few miles of Solitude and Brighton resorts.

Blanche’s Retreat is a spacious family cabin with multiple living areas, three full bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and an abundance of separate beds. Its three-level layout works especially well for extended families, large groups, or two smaller families traveling together.

Important Winter Access Information
For stays from November 1 through April 15, please review the following before booking:
*Guests must arrive in a vehicle equipped with approved winter tires marked with the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol (3PMSF), or carry approved traction devices, as required by applicable canyon traction rules.
*Plan to arrive by 8:00 p.m. during active snowfall to reduce the likelihood of encountering unplowed roads.
*Do not use Uber or Lyft to travel to this property. Rideshare vehicles may not meet winter traction requirements and may be unable to reach the home or return for pickup.

The Space
Blanche’s Retreat is arranged across three levels, giving groups room to gather while also providing separate areas for relaxing, watching movies, or enjoying quiet time.

Main-Level Living Room - a cozy place to unwind by the fire after a day of skiing, hiking, or exploring Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Kitchen and Dining Area
The kitchen includes cookware, dishes, utensils, appliances, and the essentials needed to prepare meals during your stay.
The dining table seats eight guests, with four additional seats available at the kitchen counter.

Main-Level Bathroom
A full bathroom with a standing shower is located on the main level.

Basement Den
The basement den provides a second gathering space with:
*Sectional sofa
*Apple TV
*DVD and VHS players
*Video library
This area gives families and groups an additional place to relax or enjoy a movie night.

Basement Bunk Bedroom
The basement bedroom includes:
*One queen bed
*Two twin-over-twin bunk beds
This room provides flexible sleeping space for families, children, or group members who prefer separate beds.

Basement Bathroom
A recently renovated full bathroom is located on the basement level.

Laundry Room (located in basement bathroom)
The basement laundry room includes a full-size washer and dryer. Laundry detergent is provided for guest use.

Primary Bedroom
The upstairs primary bedroom features:

*Reading nook
*Baby crib available when needed
*Access to a shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom

Loft Sleeping Area
The open loft area outside the primary bedroom includes:
*One full bed
*One twin bed
Please note that this is an open loft-style sleeping area rather than a private bedroom.

Upstairs Bathroom
The full Jack-and-Jill bathroom can be accessed from both the primary bedroom and the loft area. It includes a combination tub and shower.
