Place was clean towels and sheets were still in the dryer bathroom sink is slow to drain. Location was great since I was attending a conference at Choctaw Landing. Hot tub could be hotter 98 degrees. All the jets are not working. Overall it is a great place to stay

Perfect cabin for 4
We loved the quaint cabin - it was very quiet and gave us the secluded atmosphere we were wanting without being too far from the main areas of Hochatown! The hot tub and fire pit were easy to use and was a perfect way to end a busy day of activities! Our dog loved the patio and would sit out there watching for squirrels and deer! Would def book again!
Really great location & cabin. Cabin is fully stocked with all kitchen & bath essentials, plenty of space and laid out very well. Plenty of parking if you have more than 1 vehicle. The cabin location is close to everything - restaurants, nature. Real quiet neighborhood. Thank you!
Cabin was just as described. Perfect for our needs traveling with a pet and grandkids. It was clean and had everything we needed. The location was close to shopping and exoloring the out doors. We will definetly be back!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Hideaway. It was clean, the host provided easy to follow directions and check in procedures. It had everything we needed for the short stay. I would highly recommend this host and the cabin.
We had an amazing time at the Hideaway celebrating our son's 8th Birthday. The property was clean and very comfortable and completely accommodated our needs. I would recommend the Hideaway to any future guest with 5 stars.
We stayed here during springs break. The cabin was perfect for our girls trip. The cabin was great and was just like the pictures. Instructions from email were great. We didn't have any trouble. We will definitely be staying again.
Nice clean cabin. Family liked it, hot tub was nice at the end of the day. Only issue was some of the doors wouldn't open/close all the way. Everything else was great.
For one- the pictures just don’t do this place justice! The kitchen has been updated and it’s a beautiful, quaint cabin. We were thoroughly impressed with how clean it was. There are other rentals near the property as well as some permanent residences. We also loved our easy access to hochatown, broken bow, the dam and beavers band for nature walks. We had an excellent time!
Our stay at the Hideaway was a perfect getaway for us. The cabin was ready and in great shape.
Dave was great to communicate with and came right out when we had a problem figuring out the jacuzzi. There were plenty of towels and dishes, and there were even some spices and plenty of coffee.
The bathroom has a nice shower with plenty of hot water.
It is plenty close to town to grab dinner or to the park to go explore. The jacuzzi was clean, and oh so relaxing in the cold air!
The back porch looks out on some woods, mostly pine, and we were able to watch the full moon rise through the trees.
I highly recommend Dave and his cabin and I’m really looking forward to coming out again sometime! Thank you Dave!
Best VRBO I have rented. Everything from check in to check out was excellent. Cabin was as excellent couldn’t have been better. Definitely will stay again.
Very nice place. Clean and very convenient to everything in and out of town

About the host
Hosted by Dave Smulyan
I own and manage the Hideaway cabin, in fact I own the two cabins next door. I've lived in Idabel/Broken Bow area for 24 years, originally from Northern California. All the kids have grown, graduated college and live in different areas of the country. The grandkids are beginning to arrive so it makes an exciting time for the wife and I.
Why they chose this property
The Hideaway cabin is large and spacious for only having one bedroom. The property it's on is in an older neighborhood so the cabins don't sit on top of each other. It's located near Hochatown, Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake and the Lower Mt. Fork River for trout fishing. The cabin is just off the dam road and all roads leading are paved!
What makes this property unique
The Hideaway cabin has wonderful decks on the front and back, the back deck is where the hot tub sits, the view is U.S. Forest service land, you see no other cabins, which means no other cabins see you, this is also where the BBQ grill is set up. The front deck is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon socializing or just hanging our listening to the birds!
