Great place. Tons of gathering spaces to eat. Horseshoes was fun, fireplace was great, and inside was very comfortable with solid amenities (TV could be connected to phones, pots, pans, plates for cooking, towels, blankets, sheets, pillows etc. all clean and provided for)
We loved our stay here. Everything was as advertised and the place is fantastic. Rope swing was an unexpected benefit. But more than anything, here on VRBO my strategy is to always deal directly with the property owner when possible, and Ken is the exact reason why. Attentive, helpful, aware of the area. 5 stars all the way.
This was the perfect location for our cousin get away! We loved the spacious cabin and even though we’re older, loved the tree swing!! Host was great to communicate with and responded to any questions very quickly. Highly recommend!!
Was the perfect stay for our best friend 40th bday getaway!!! Had everyrhing we needed. Very spacious! We loved the rope swing. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch in the morning and the hot tub at night. We did not utilize the upstairs bedrooms as the stairs were very steep and no bathroom. But there were so many futons that we made the sleeping situation work just fine! The firepit area was nice and was nice that firewood was provided! The train rolling through at night-time was super cool also! A much needed getaway on a secluded peaceful piece of land. We would definately stay here again! Thank you
Absolutely perfect for our wedding ceremony!! Plenty of space for getting ready and prepping dinner! Everyone had a blast in the swing out front! Back porch is a great place to relax.
We had a great time at the lodge! Everything was as described on the website and it was a perfect location for a girls trip to just hangout and catch up. Would highly recommend this location!!
The large wide porch with a picnic table and lots of chairs is the highlight of this property. We enjoyed being out there in the evenings having dinner and catching up with one another.
We stayed at this cabin for IU graduation 2024. Good location, and we had lots of room for our family. The arm chairs and futons were comfortable for naps, and having two kitchens was a nice touch.
We had a great time!
The cabin is big with plenty of space in every room. Although we spent most of our time outside around the large firepit!
We will definitely go back again!
It's everything in the photos with one notation. The stairs leading upstairs to two of the four bedrooms are very steep. They are more ladders than stairs. These are likely fine for kids but adults, older adults, do not like them. There are two bedrooms downstairs and other options such as converted couches and a pull down bed in one living room and that's where some of our people slept.
Stayed here with a group of 9 ladies for a long weekend. Was perfect for games, taking around the bonfire and cooking / eating all weekend long. Nice quiet location, comfortable sleeping arrangements (if you are okay with steep stairs to 2 bedrooms) and clean bathrooms. This was our second stay.
Ken and his property were amazing. He was easy to reach by phone, callingbor texting beck pretty quickly. The first hour we were here, we just walked around admiring the cabin, its beauty and AWEsomeness. Thank you for sharing it with us for a few days!
