About this property
Peaceful, pet-friendly Brown County cabin!
The moment you step inside The Cabin in the Pines, you will feel transported to a simpler time and place. The warm glow of the gleaming logs, illuminated with generous lighting and windows, envelops you in comfort and ease. While this cabin has all the conveniences of modern living, it has been painstakingly appointed with authentic antiques and furnishings from days gone by. The Cabin in the Pines has a large open great room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen downstairs, all accented with a cozy hearthstone gas-log stove. Upstairs are two separate loft bedrooms, one with a full bed and one with a queen-size bed – made up with fresh linens, plenty of pillows, and colorful quilts. A third bedroom with a queen-size bed is downstairs on the main level. On warm, balmy evenings, rock on the old front porch swing and listen to the spring peepers and owls as they tune up for their nightly concert. Or take your meals out on the huge screened-in back porch – complete with a working hammock. The Cabin in the Pines is the perfect getaway for two to six people – with plenty of room to relax, cook in or out, and see firsthand what is so satisfying about living in a real log cabin in the Hills of Brown County. If you want to experience something uniquely different and truly 'get away,' experience something uniquely different and satisfying.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. Peaceful, serene, exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend and hope to return !! So grateful for the host :)
The property was quiet and secluded about 10 minutes from town. The house was definitely clean, which is a priority. The gas fireplace was very nice. This is a log cabin, so the amenities are basic, but that ’s expected. I would stay here again.
The location of the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Secluded area with lots of woods to explore. The cabin was decorated so cute and had that great cozy feel. Our 1 year old Bloodhound had the time of his life roaming around the property. It was exactly what we were looking for!
Overall we had a great time, Didn’t get much of a chance to spend outside but it would have been wonderful, very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The cabin was so nice and quaint. We only had one struggle and that was with the remote for the thermostat, never did get it figured out but managed without it.
We absolutely loved this tucked-away cottage in Brown County! It was a great spot for our family to call home for a long weekend. The management was timely with their communication, and check in/out process was a breeze. We especially loved the screened in back porch with hammock and the porch swing on the front. The only reason for 4/5 stars is because the thermostat was a bit tricky to figure out so we had some cooler nights, but I think that was more due to our user error than anything. We’ll definitely keep this on our list of places to revisit!
