Come make great family memories at this beautiful all-sports lakefront property on Jordan Lake, a 430 acre lake located in Lake Odessa, MI. Located just 40 minutes southeast of Grand Rapids, home has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, formal dining room and sits on a quiet dead end road with A/C. French doors from living room open to the lake, you feel like you are outside even when you're not. Water is just 30 feet from house and typically has a nice breeze all year long.

2024 Pontoon boat (fits 10 people) available to rent - $1,900/week, or $275/night prorated for nights stayed if less than 1 full week.

Lake has sandy bottom and is shallow (1-3 feet deep typically) at shore until approximately 50 feet out where it drops to greater depths, perfect for smaller children and adults who want to float and have fun. Lake is also great for fishing and boating.

Sleeping arrangements are as follows:
Main floor bedroom with private full bath has queen-sized bed.

Upstairs master bedroom with slider door to balcony overlooking the lake.

There are two additional bedrooms upstairs.

Large formal dining room.

This property is very family friendly and offers the following as a courtesy to guests:

Jordan Lake offers a public boat launch, Buddy's restaurant on the water, public beach with volleyball and playground.

There are also plenty of activities in the local area. Home is located just 30 minutes from Ionia County Park which offers 149 campsites (100 modern and 49 rustic), 4,500 acres that offer a swimming beach, good fishing in Sessions Lake, floating blow climbing tower on the lake, camping, hunting, 3.5 miles of hiking trails looped within the park, nine miles designated for mountain bike trails, 15 miles of horse trails and a boat launch. There are also three designated trail loops for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling when there is four inches or more of snow.

There are several fairs and festivals in surrounding towns and Lake Odessa is known for their antique shops downtown. Or grab dinner at Buddy's on the water, visit I96 Speedway, grab an ice cream at the Dairy Queen or check out the Lake Odessa Village public park (free) that boasts Swifty's Place - a city block of climbing, swinging, sliding fun for kids!

Beautiful home! Much larger than it appears in photos. 4 full bedrooms, 7 beds (2 are upper bunk). Host was super helpful. We didn’t get to enjoy the lake, but know it well. Home is on a quiet street with awesome views to northwest. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, even a full spice cabinet (rare in my experience). We’ll be back this Summer!

This lake house is a hidden gem. Perfectly located between Grand Rapids and East Lansing easy access to main roads. Everything was great, but weeds in the lake made swimming near the shore line ugly. We rented their pontoon boat and that made all the difference. We were able to boat to areas of the lake where swimming was fun.

Great Lakehouse find!

We frequent the lake every year, visiting friends and family. This year, now with three kids, we needed to find our own spacious house on the lake. What a perfect find. We had three adults and three children under six and the accommodations were perfect for our arrangement. The home was inviting and very clean. The water level along the dock was perfect for waiting, swimming, and fishing with small children. All of the neighbors are so friendly! Ann and Andy were always quick to respond and willing to help in any situation. We had such a wonderful stay and created amazing memories with our children. Will be staying again!

Great place for friends to gather

Six of us stayed and slept comfortably in the home. We were glad we included the pontoon in our stay as we used it to get close to the pair of eagles we spotted on the lake, as well as to get to Dairy Queen! I would recommend the place.

Fantastic

This lake house and property was clean, charming, spacious, comfortable and had all you needed. We just left after a three night stay with six adults and two children (one baby). We brought all of our baby gear and items to keep our other child entertained, but the hosts have lots of essentials if needed (pack-n-play, baby monitor, sound machine, toys, games, art supplies, etc.). The beds were comfy, the air worked great (no air unit in the downstairs bedroom, but we used one of the many fans available to blow in the cool air from the dining room), the kitchen was equipped, the mud room was a great space with lots of storage, outside dining area was perfect as well as the back deck for taking in the view. My son and husband had the best time fishing off the dock and swimming in the shallow water. We didn’t take advantage of the boat, but looked like a lovely, quiet lake for a boat ride. Lake Odessa is a cute town as well. We went to the local ice cream shoppe and played at the super cool park. We would highly recommend this home/property/town and wouldn’t hesitate to return! Thank you!

We purchased this home when it needed quite a bit of TLC. It has gone through a complete remodel. We decided to share our relaxing getaway with others since our schedule does not allow us to use it as often as we would like. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We chose this home because it sits on a dead end road, the lake is family friendly and it is located just 40 minutes from Grand Rapids. We added French doors in the living room and large deck so you see the sunsets.

There is also a main floor bedroom with private bath and only 1 step to enter the home. This makes it great for when grandparents are there.

Pontoon boat available to rent on site for additional fee, $1700/week or $250/night prorated for nights booked if less than 1 full week.
