Great Location

Great place close to dining options. A block from the beach across the road (not busy), but still is quiet. Place was clean and had all the comforts of home. Your about 5 miles from downtown old St Augustine and not difficult drive. Same mileage to pick up our fishing tour. Would stay again.

Great Location and Property

Everything was great, the family enjoy the pool easy access to the beach and to restaurants. Only thing that could have been better was more towels. Even if it was at least 2 per guess. There is a washer and dryer which work great, we just didn't like doing towels daily.

Pros: sleeps 8, well stocked kitchen, within walking distance of multiple restaurants, access to beach within five minutes Cons: found fork with food in kitchen cabinet, pool was closed for 3 days of the week, two bedroom closet doors were off their tracks, kitchen sink has leak into collection bowl that needs to be emptied each day, master bath pocket door is off it’s track, AC unit would not cool below 77 degrees on the last 2 days of stay. Summary: Has potential but needs multiple repairs. If these cons were corrected, the cost to stay would be justified. My family will not be returning to this location.

We really enjoyed the properties' location since it was close to the beach and 5-10 minute drive from attractions. The pool area was nice. We liked seeing the wildlife in the pool (turtles, ducks). The layout and space in the condo was great. However, there were a few observed issues: Broken door knobs Roaches Door in master bath was broken Light bulbs were out Broken blinds Worn out beds Dirty, old furniture Rugs were dirty and broken down Couch were pillows were breaking down We called to get more towels because there were only 4 provided for the entire unit. Kudos to them that more towels were brought! We called the office to make them aware of these issues and they told us to write them down so here they are. We are in no way seeking recompense. We just wanted to make the propery owner aware.

Cute. Clean. Short Walk to beach.

I booked this condo thinking we would be right by the water. You can’t see the water, but you can hear it. The walk is maybe a 6-10 minute walk with 3 kids 8 years old and under. Easy to cross at a crosswalk with visibility flags. Definitely recommend a wagon to cart around all your beach stuff. You have several restaurants within walking distance if you don’t want to drive. You also have Publix or Winn Dixie a short drive away. Lots of fun activities to do very close by. The condo itself is very nice. The layout of the rooms work well with the space. You felt like you had plenty of room. There a few things that need updating/maintenance but it doesn’t take away from the stay or experience. The rental company made check-in and check-out super easy. My only suggestion would be to do keypads on the doors instead of physical keys. But, that’s just me being picky, and doesn’t take away from your stay at all. Over all, it was a wonderful week and we would definitely stay here again.

St Augustine beach

The location was very good, the only thing bab about this vacation was the kitchen was very dirty we had to clean it before we unpacked, oven was dirty had to clean slices of cheese was in the bottom cabinet unwrapped. The dishes in the dishwasher still had food on them, we went to the management people share this with them along with pictures so they were aware of this, they said they would make it right but we never heard from them again. I have traveled for over 50 years this is my first bad review I gave ever written so it is not about the money but when you pay as much as we did you don't expect to have to clean before you start vacation.

St Augustine

We absolutely loved this condo. It is so charming and has everything we needed for the week we were there. It was an amazing location. The beach is a block away, able to walk to restaurants, shops and coffee. We truly can’t say enough about this! Thank you for everything!

Cleanliness

The property wasn’t very clean. It said in the listing that it was cleaned and sanitized after each guest, but there were numerous things left behind in plain sight. The bathroom was dirty including hair in the bathtub and the kitchen counters, fridge and outside of drawers were dirty. The outside patio area was disgusting. I would not recommend this property.

We advise every guest that if they find any issues to please contact our office and it would be addressed immediately. Not wait until they check out and try and use it as a reason to get a refund. Every property is inspected prior to each and every guest checking in, had these issues existed you would have called at check-in.

Nice property, perfect location

The condo was exactly what we wanted and the location was perfect. The property management generally responded quickly to issues e.g. air-con out. The only real issue we have is that while we certainly waited too long to ask about availability next year, the property management did not ask if we would be interested in reserving the unit again. From conversations with other people, we gather this is a common courtesy. However, we did reserve another unit in the same complex through a different company.

Great place overall!

We had a great stay overall. The condo was lovely and very clean when we arrived. It is located right by the pool and a short walk away from the beach. Only issues we had were that the electrical outlets for the living room entertainment system (tv, dvd, modem, etc.) didn’t work. When we called the management office, they were insistent that it was due to a local power outage. We knew it was not, because the condo had power everywhere else. We ended up buying an extension cord and connecting the power strip to the bedroom, around the corner. Also, on our last night, the washing machine broke and would not drain. These things can happen anywhere though, and I assume will be fixed by the time the condo is rented out again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Review

While the location and neighborhood of this unit were perfect, we had several issues. I offer as suggestions that renters be told that you cannot park in any spot (visitor or numbered) without a parking permit. That was not entirely clear and one of our group's car was almost towed when he went into the unit for 10 minutes to get a parking permit, while he was parked in a marked "Visitor" spot. The tow driver didn't take the car, but demanded $93 before he would take it off the truck. Also, the listing should say no towels or flags may hang on the balcony. There also should be an area close to the unit that has bike parking. We moved the bikes from the stairwell when asked and over by the fence and out of the way. However, were then later told you can't park the bikes in that area either. Lastly, we had 6 people in the unit for 5 days, however, were told the unit is only stocked for 1 days worth of toilet paper. If this is the policy, then that also should be spelled out better to renters so that they can plan accordingly to bring their own paper products. Again, this is a very nice unit, I just think that if the unit area is so strict, those rules need to be made clearer to renters. Thank you.

Thank you for your review. You were issued two (2) parking passes at check-in. If you needed additional parking passes, all you had to do is ask. Also it is clearly posted when entering the complex, parking passes are required on all vehicles. As far as hanging towels and flags from the balcony, this just is common sense and respecting your neighbors and we shouldn't have to tell guests not to hang items from the balcony. Regarding the bikes, there are several bike parking areas in the complex and this was explained to you as well.

Enjoyed stay and being within walking distance to restaurants, Wednesday’s farmer’s market. We would book this condo again and hope that dirty stained bath cloths, stained bedspread in Master B/R, burned out light bulbs would all be replaced by then as well as having a dust pan available. Liked having full size washer and dryer. The television in the Master did not work but was corrected within hours of calling. Overall great stay.

Nice complex , good value but not Beach front.

For a non Beach front complex , it was nice and road was pretty easy to cross. This unit is in the front building so closest. Condo was nice size and nicely furnished. Kitchen could be updated. However, it wasn’t the cleanest. Had to wash my sheets before using, vacuum bc we had a baby crawling and was finding “peanut pieces “ to put in her mouth. Plus noticed our foot were dirty from the floors. Owners need to replace some towels or atleast make sure cleaners use bleach to clean the white towels since many were very dingy and dirty looking which isn’t appealing. Overall for the money it’s a good value and a nice unit. Management company was great to deal with.

Perfect family getaway!!

Loved, loved, loved. Everything was exactly as pictured, only better as you step out onto the balcony with a fountain view, pool view and can smell the ocean right across the street. Everything was in great working order, the beds were comfortable, the bookcases well-stocked for reading and even included a few games! It was a fun surprise for me to have the kids pull out "Uno" for family game night and see the retro pack of Uno cards from the 80's! Brought back great memories. :-) The kitchen is stocked with every pan, pot and gadget you need for a week's stay. The washer/dryer and separate laundry room were perfect for keeping the beach towels, bathing suits and kids clothes clean and fresh throughout the week! The flow of the unit lends itself to quiet time when needed (a flat screen in every room with quiet ceiling fans for napping) to a perfect setup for family interaction when working in the kitchen as the sink space looks right into the dining room and living room. The pool was the highlight of the trip for the younger children and the older children and I milked every moment at the beach (which is the reason we chose this location!) St. Augustine Beach was my childhood family vacation destination and this is my first time bringing all of our children together for our own vacation here. I was able to take them into town for sight-seeing and historical tours and make the same special memories for them that my parents gave me and my sisters so many years ago. As a very recent widow with 7 children, this vacation was particularly significant. Cancer took my husband in December at just 45 years young after a short and valiant battle against an aggressive cancer that was unresponsive to all treatment types. As a family for the first time without Daddy, we needed a space not only to enjoy and have fun, but also to sit quietly with our thoughts and grieve together as we must now make family memories without the head of this home. This unit was calming and peaceful and the paint colors and decor were soothing, which, for us, provided the perfect location for this particular family vacation. I highly recommend this unit and its owners and property management company to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway to St. Augustine Beach, FL! Thank you! We will be back. :-)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and resort exceeded our expectations. We had everything needed to cook meals if we didn’t feel like eating out. The pool area was great and the salt water pool was a pleasant surprise. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance and grocery is a short drive as well as downtown St. Augustine. My only recommendation would be that the condo could use a deep cleaning of the carpets which were obvious based on having a crawling grandson.
