Excellent location. Easy beach access. The pool and Tiki Bar were our favorite spots. Very comfortable stay! Quick response from host when needed. Can't wait to come back!

Everything was as described. An easy walk to the beach, comfortable beds, relaxing space in doors and outside. The pool was warm and maintained at the midway of our stay. The kitchen had everything you would need and more. Great location and a great host!

We loved our stay here! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful the backyard pool area was beautiful and relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable. We also were so close to the beach and great restaurants. Definitely want to come back!

Everything was great! We really enjoyed our stay. It was well stocked and ready for guests. The only improvement would be better beds and we were directed not to lower the temperature below 73 degrees. It was stuffy at night.

Hi Kellye! Thanks so much for your review. I’m so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. I think there may have been a misunderstanding with the thermostat. You have full control of the temperature in the home. The 73 degree suggestion is for the heart of the summer when it’s high 90’s and only because the pipes can freeze if the air is left to below this for extended periods. We have also never had a complaint about the beds in the past as most guests ask for mattress information upon checkout because they were so comfortable. I know that beds are a personal preference so apologize.

The home was lovely. Very much enjoyed the interior layout and the backyard with the pool and Tiki bar. Also, the newly built public access to the beach made it easy to get back and forth.

Once again, we had a fabulous weekend staying here! We enjoyed the amenities in the backyard to the fullest! Kitchen had everything we needed, house is well appointed, easy access to the beach, and the intercostal to watch the sunset.

Here are a few things that need to be address with this property. Drains in the 2nd bathroom need attention. Some towels need replaced. Other than that the inside was beautiful. Outside could use a lot of work for what it has to offer. Nice Tiki Bar but was not clean. Grill was nasty and rusty, wanted to use it, but our wives said I'm not eating anything off that. Replace it! Could use some trimming of the trees in back. Some power washing in that area would not hurt either. But don't get us wrong, we loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. It is a great place to stay. Just get that handyman on so of these small items.

Fantastic 5 star property. Very comfortable even for 5 older women! We enjoyed the pool, tiki bar, and just relaxing outside. The location is great, not far from downtown and all activities. The house is well equipped too. Thank you Jessica!

The house was amazing, especially the backyard. Weather was iffy due to tropical storm Erin, but was great to have the backyard to use between the rain, and still made it to the beach. Jessica was super communicative and great. We’re talking about going back next year, hopefully longer!

A Big Yes

We loved our stay at Island Retreat! The backyard was beautiful and we spent a great deal of time in the pool as well as enjoying the tiki bar. The home had everything we needed for our stay and was so comfortable. The walk to the beach is not far and it is not crowded at this end of the beach which was a huge plus for me. The house was extremely clean as well. Great stay and would definitely recommend!

Come relax in backyard oasis

The home was clean, well decorated and well appointed. We had everything we needed and had enough to enjoy that we didn’t even need to leave. The beach is a short walk or drive and great to view sunrise. Short walk the opposite direction and you can watch the sunset!

Amazing Vacation Spot

This house was the perfect location for our 2 families of 4. We had kids from ages 10 to 7 and the accommodations were perfect. The location was a short walk to the beach and had gorgeous sunrises! We felt like it was our own private beach and loved that about this location. Downtown with tons to do and great eating places is just a short drive. The owners were very quick to reply with any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Nicer than the pictures

Island retreat is actually nicer than pictures. The setup was very nice, and we actually used the outdoor shower more than you think. The kitchen was well equipped. The walk to the beach was easy. The location was very good. The neighborhood was quiet, but we were close enough to go into St Augustine. Our host Jessica was very easy to deal with, and she responded quickly.

Little slice of heaven

This house was amazing. From the first step into the house we enjoyed the whole house. With three teenage children they were in and out of the pool more then they were sleeping. As for the adults the whole set up checked all the boxes. The tiki bar was amazing. Would rent again for sure maybe both houses and have a family reunion. Wonderful host very well in tune with guest needs and or questions.
