3BR/3BA unit updated from top to bottom. New furnishings in the living area in 2025. New queen bed in back bedroom 2024. High end appliances and updated kitchen! Great deck furniture which is comfortable and will never rust! Enjoy our slice of paradise.

Island Tower is the most luxurious condominium in Gulf Shores. It has only 65 units (3 per floor) allowing for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing sanctuary. This unit features panoramic views of the beach with spectacular sunrises and floor to ceiling windows. This specific unit towers above the all the other buildings allowing for truly unobstructed views for miles from the living room and bedrooms. The large balcony off the living room and master bedroom is truly breathtaking and a perfect setting for relaxing. The second balcony has beach views along with views of Big Lagoon and Oyster Bay. This balcony is directly off of the second and third bedroom.

This unit has been decorated in a style that is both luxurious as well as comfortable. The gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter-tops and beautiful cabinetry. In the living room you will find a flat panel TV with DVD. Great kitchen appliances. The master bedroom features bright new furniture, inviting master bath with walk in shower and double sinks. The walk in closet provides plenty of room for clothes regardless if you are staying a week, a month or more. There is a TV, ceiling fan and a fantastic beach view.

The two other bedrooms have floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors that lead out to a balcony featuring Gulf and lagoon views. These rooms have TV's, and ceiling fans. One of these bedrooms has a queen bed (brand new 2022) with a private bath, the other has two bunk beds with the bath in the hall.

Island tower is set-up for families to enjoy with an outdoor pool, indoor heated pool, sauna, charcoal barbecue grill, exercise room overlooking the beach and gulf. In addition, families can enjoy a children playground and beach services where you can rent umbrellas and beach lounges by the day or week.
Island Tower is located on Beach Blvd just 1/2 mile west of Highway 59.

Excellent stay!

We had an amazing time at Shorebird! The condo was fully stocked and the views were unforgettable. It was in an excellent location and the beach access was so easy. The only negatives would be the parking garage and navigating a large SUV through the turns going up and down levels, and one of only two elevators being down so wait times were long. Nothing that the owners can change but just a heads up if traveling with a large vehicle. Even with those issues we would definitely return when coming back to Gulf Shores!

Beautiful view of the beach and the town

My family and I overall enjoyed our stay, we decided to take an extended vacation for 2 weeks and this property allowed us to spread out for our own space. The view was spectacular, we saw dolphin, even the storms were awesome to watch, a double rainbow when we arrived. This property was stocked beyond what I have ever experienced in a rental, we paid it forward and restocked. There were beach chairs & toys to sit closer to the water. Binoculars were in the unit which came in handy often. There were a few things that were disappointing. The indoor pool was out, we found out its been out for over a year. Its the only reason we booked here, going over budget to ensure we could swim with so much rain in the forecast. We had 3 days of storms all day and several days of partial storms and couldn't use the inside pool that was out of order. I wish that had been noted or communicated. Parking situation like others mentioned was frustrating. The sheets on the master bed were worn with pilling, (maybe we just got an older set for our cleaning) one of the king sized pillows was missing and later found in a closet with stains on it, replaced with a small pillow on the bed. The security guard treated her job like the warden of a prison, berating everyone constantly. I realize that shouldn't reflect on the unit itself, but it did tie into a negative presence that everyone was constantly complaining about on the property. We love GS and look forward to coming back next year.

It was ok. Property was clean enough. Property manager was unresponsive. Elevators are inadequate. Beach is extremely crowded. No additional supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, soaps. Would not stay again.

This place truly has a WOW view…the pictures don’t do it justice. The space was perfect for our family of 9. Had everything we needed, it was clean, new appliances and decorated so perfectly. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location!

We recently took a girls trip (6 of us total) for 6 days / 5 nights. Location is perfect, right on the beach. Views are absolutely stunning! Balcony is perfect to sit out and relax with your morning coffee and a book. Cons: one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Given the length of our stay and amount of people this was gone through very quickly. 1 roll of paper towel and 1 extra trash bag. Might be fine if you’re only there for a couple of days or not planning on eating at the rental but by day 3 everything had been used. Notes say to “pay it forward” and replace items if you use the last of them… I wasn’t planning on spending money on items to stock the place. So that was kind of annoying but not a total dealbreaker as we all said we would definitely stay again. Elevators (2 for 26 floors and we were on the 24th floor) were slow but it wasn’t an issue for us since the building didn’t feel overcrowded. I wonder if it would be different if we had come during a busier part of the season. Front door doesn’t automatically lock when you leave which we didn’t realize until a few days into the trip. We wrongfully assumed since there is a keypad that it locked when you closed it, that was our mistake but be aware so you don’t make the same one as us. Overall we loved the space, we utilized the beach chairs/umbrella service everyday. Loved that a set was included and rented more so all 6 of us could relax under an umbrella everyday. Very relaxing vacation! Close to the hangout which was a very cool atmosphere at night with live music. We will be back one day!

The condo was very nice. Pictures are accurate Beautiful view. Beach wasn't crowded. Would definitely use it again. Note to owner: The toilet in the hallway restroom needs fixed. It was clogged when we arrived and almost everytime you flush you have to take the back lid off and mess with the chain for it to fill up and stop running. Also light fixture in ceiling of master shower is coming loose. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us.

Wow -that view!

The condo was extremely nice. Here are some of our favorite things: -it was clean -the view was spectacular -lots of room, individual bathrooms was a plus. -living room was comfortable - plenty of kitchen utensils/supplies/equipment -the owner was east to get a hold of and quick to respond. -quick access to the beach. -included chair and beach rental (loved this!) Our downsides: -the indoor pool and work out space was closed all week -having to keep up with a key for the pool bathrooms -parking lot is a tight squeeze. Overall it was a great location and we’d stay there again!

No large vehicle parking or onsite gym available

Won’t stay here again. Parking was ridiculous for any trucks with large turning radius at all. We had to park across the street in a public beach access area that was in the sand, where many vehicles got stuck attempting to park. There was no crosswalk and our truck was vandalized the last night we were there. We also wouldn’t know about the “incredible” fitness area since it was closed and no one notified us. So, without the ability to come and go easily because of the parking situation, my entire family didn’t get to workout as we generally do everyday. Very disappointing. The condo was nice. We especially liked the kitchen and the entire condo was decorated nicely. The guest room, however, did not have a king sized bed as advertised and this room was always hot. The mattress was comfortable in the guest room. The primary bedroom mattress, however, was extremely firm. Our kids liked the room with the bunk beds. We also enjoyed the balcony and the furniture was comfortable. I don’t believe any of the extra blankets were cleaned prior to our rental. The rest of the rental was clean for the most part before our arrival. The shower in the primary bedroom had very low pressure. I would recommend taking out the restrictor in the head. We ended up showering in the hallway bathroom as pressure was much better, but didn’t like having to go through the living room after showering. There is no real table for everyone to sit down and eat together if you plan on doing so. There were 4 bar stools to eat at the kitchen counter and 4 chairs to sit at the half table behind the couch. While the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo provided the space we needed and the condo was nice, we were disappointed as our expectations were not met from the start beginning with the parking (even the small SUV, our other vehicle that we had, was hard to maneuver in the tight garage parking), the lack of an onsite workout facility, the very firm mattress in the primary, the misrepresented bed size in the guest room and the low shower pressure in the primary en suite, we wouldn’t stay here again. Strongly recommend you have a very small vehicle to stay here and double check everything is open as advertised if you make this your vacation destination. Paying as much as we did for this 7-day stay, I feel it wasn’t worth the money.

Beautiful Views!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! I can't imagine that there are any better views in Gulf Shores than there are from this property....floor to ceiling windows and two balconies on the 24th floor, it was breathtaking! The same person manages both end units on the 24th floor and she was so easy to work with and responsive to our messages. It would be great to stay here any time of the year. We loved having a spot ready at the beach for us set up in the mornings so we didn't have to wake up early and stress about staking our claim. The parking garage is pretty tight so don't drive a big vehicle if you are going to stay here. The condo has been recently updated and the new appliances are a plus. We had 7 adult sized people staying here and were more than comfortable with enough space.

Dan's was an awesome hostess and manager. Prompt, accurate check-in process. Most everything you might need to get you started was already available. Bring extra trash bags and handsoap. Furnishings were great. Excellent kitchen. Bedroom layout ideal for parents traveling w kids or other guests, split Floorplan provides ample privacy. Noise minimal, though there is some above floor noise but not bad. Balconies nice and spacious. The beach was awesome. Literally steps away. Views were magnificent. Only a minor concern or issue w the beach chair amenity and it was handled promptly. Love the corner unit. Outdoor furniture nice and sturdy. Would definitely recommend this unit and plan to rent it more often!

Beautiful Views

The condo has large windows which shows a beautiful view of the ocean. The bedrooms were spacious, all with balconies and it was nice to have 3 full baths. We appreciated the complementary umbrella and chairs every day. I wish the fitness room had been open but it didn’t take away from our stay.

Walls of windows everywhere! Overlooking the public beach and the fireworks display each year. Never leave your sofa. This is something! I love that this building is low density. Only 3 units per floor. You don't hear anything or anyone, just the waves and the Gulf.
