Are you ready to have one of the best vacations of your life? Well, you have found it at 1703 Island Tower!! This is one of the newest buildings in Gulf Shores and it is conveniently located near everything that is anything. It is the tallest building in west beach and from the 17th floor, you can see it all!!! This is a low density building that has only 3 units per floor. This building has won construction awards and boasts floor to ceiling glass in the living area and bedrooms that give way to BREATHTAKING views of the Gulf of Mexico. Island Tower also has a beautiful infinity pool with ample seating and shade provided. And for those cooler nights, an indoor infinity pool is available. There is a fully equipped, state of the art fitness center surrounded in glass so as not to miss any of the scenery on the beach. After your workout, unwind in the steamy sauna to work out all the kinks. A playground and outdoor grilling area is also provided.

Our home away from home has ceramic tile, 9 foot ceilings, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Enjoy our contemporary decor that begs one to have ice cold Pina Coladas and watch the surf pound the snowy white beaches. We have a fully equipped kitchen complete with all major appliances as well as a full stock of spices for those who love to stay in and cook their own succulent dishes. We offer our beach chairs for your use as well as a cooler for your day at the beach. Enjoy 4 flat screen TV's, 2 master bedrooms, and a third bedroom as well as three full baths. If guests arrive, don't send them home...invite them to sleep over as the sofa converts to a queen sleeper. This unit has everything you will need and more.

The first master bedroom features a king size bed with an inviting master bath with Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower along with floor to ceiling windows and balcony access. The walk in closet provides plenty of room for clothes regardless if you are staying a week, a month or more. The second master bedroom has floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors that lead out to a balcony featuring Gulf and lagoon views. It is professionally decorated and has a style of its own. It also consists of its own private full bath. The third room is perfect for the little ones as it has two twin beds and is across the hall from its own bathroom as well.

Enjoy our 'home of glass' and watch the dolphins play, the windsurfers fly, and the Gulf of Mexico, in all of its glory, dive deep into your heart.

Awesome Stay

We arrived and were taking away by the views and easiness of parking. We were walking distance from shopping, food and entertainment. We didn’t have to drive anywhere for anything. The condo was beautiful and spacious for all of our kids and the adults.

Gorgeous views, great area, convenient to everything. Unfortunately unit was very dirty and generally unkept. Sluggish plumbing, broken icemaker, no can opener, moldy shower liners, plus just plain dirt and hair, especially in bathrooms. With basic maintenance and a good cleaning this unit could be fabulous. As is, we would not return.

The kitchen was wonderful for preparing meals. Definitely a family oriented location. I will return!!! The host was also very helpful all the way through booking this property. Great vacation!

Our family enjoyed the condo. Erin was great at communicating if I had a question or concern and she made sure we knew that there would be construction during our stay which I appreciated the notice. The condo is close to everything. There is a pizza place/ice cream shop across the street too which is convenient. The only issue we had with our stay is the parking. There is very limited parking for larger vehicles and we had a cargo carrier on top or our suv so parking in the garage portion was not an option for us. We did manage to get lucky each day and found a spot to park in though.

We had a great time at this condo. It was perfect for our family. Two bedrooms with ensuite baths and king beds; and one bedroom with two twins and a hall bath. Everything was very comfortable and the furnishings were nice. Balcony had amazing view. The building itself is older and has some wear; and the condo is a bit the same with some quirks and could use a little paint - but nothing that at all impacted our stay. The outdoor and indoor pools were great for my 4 year old daughter - both are somewhat small but very conveniently located and not busy while we were there (late Sept/earlyOct). Beach toys were great to use. There aren't beach towels, though, so plan ahead! I would say 5-stars; but don't want people to think the facility is perfect -- although it was fantastic overall.

The condo unit has everything needed for a stay away from home. I believe the listing says there is a cooler and we didn’t locate one, but brought our own. There is a chair for toddlers and a pack and play which are both very helpful. There were several very nice beach chairs and toys for the kids. The kitchen is stocked very very well. It does take some time for the dryer to dry clothes, but that would be the only thing that might be a a bit annoying. This was our second stay and the updates to the building are very nice. This unit has everything we needed plus much more. Thank you for sharing the unit with us. Will likely book the same unit a third time for next year.

Absolutely gorgeous condo!

My family and I stayed here in July 2024. There were 4 adults and 2 children in our group. The condo more than surpassed our expectations!! A huge bonus was the king bed in the 2nd master - my sil is 6'3" so that was perfect for them. Having sliders and a second balcony for the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms was awesome. The floor to ceiling wilndows in the kitchen and living areas provided magnificent views of the Gulf. My only hesitation when booking was that I was concerned that the elevators would be a problem since we were on the 17th floor. We never had to wait for one! The covered parking was a bonus. The condo itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is large, and the bathrooms were very nice. My granddaughters enjoyed "swimming" in the jacuzzi in the master! The amenities were very nice; beautiful pool, access to beach was easy and the beach wasn't crowded like it was last year when we were closer to the public beach access. We contacted owner Erin a couple of times with questions during our stay and she responded immediately and took care of our needs. Overall, it was a "10" and we look forward to booking again next summer!

Beautiful ocean view and a great location!

The condo had a beautiful ocean view. The building was still under renovation when we got there. Owners had communicated that they would still be working on the outside of the building. We didn’t expect them to be right outside the sitting areas and one bedroom window. In the guest room-not master-workers had sealed balcony doors shut since they had taken down the railings, etc while working. We didn’t expect them to be there the whole rest of the week. Also, we were told that all the amenities would be open, but the outside pool was closed the entire time of our stay. The condo was very nice and having 3 bedrooms was a big bonus too. There was only one beach chair in the condo. Thankfully, we had brought some of our own. Also, you have to pay for umbrella/chair rental on the beach-it is not included in the stay. Location is great-close to shops snd restaurants! Parking at the Towers was not easy with a larger vehicle so it was a plus to be able to walk to restaurants and shops!

Spectacular condo

This is our second stay at Island Tower. We love the location and pool area. There is an option for shade during the day by the pool which is necessary at times for the grand babies. The condo unit has everything you could possibly need or want. Dishes, pots and pans are very nice. If we needed anything more it would have been forks. Seems like our crew just wanted to eat 😉. The dryer didn’t dry our loads very well, but we just had to run them through twice. The unit exceeded our expectations. We will be looking to book same unit again next year. Check in process is great and simple. The condo will not allow more than 2 parking passes. I have asked both years to purchase another pass because there are always several paces available on the upper units. I wish that was something that the unit would consider and would be my only complaint. We have had a visitor the last 2 years and they had to park in the free parking across street which is fine, but we would gladly pay if that were an option.

Fun trip with a lovely view

We loved a lot about this property. The spacious condo with three bathrooms. Nice for four ladies!! The covered parking to keep our vehicle cooler was great. The view was spectacular. My elderly mother came with us and she was able to sit comfortably in the air conditioning and never felt like she missed the beach at all. Comfortable beds gave us a great night’s sleep every night. Lots of seating for lounging inside and out. The condo was quiet. We never heard the neighbors. Great location! And easy to drive where ever we needed to go. There really is a lot to love about this condo. There were just a few things that would keep us from choosing this one again. The listing claimed it was one of the newest towers in the area but that must be an old description because the building was somewhat run down. The biggest disappointment was that the unit just was not clean. Clothing, trash and hair left behind by past guests showed us that the cleaning team just wasn’t thorough. If you have dust or mold allergies book with caution. Overall, a lovely condo with a lot of potential. Needs some good cleaning and some basic upkeep and could be 5 stars.

So-So Stay

Overall the building itself needs quite a bit of updating. Everything is pretty rusted and run down. The indoor pool was very cold and not very clean looking. Gym space was fine. Sauna was out of order. The unit itself was okay. The views were spectacular and by far the best part of the unit. The cleanliness was okay, there were crumbs on the table and chairs. Dishwasher had standing water in it that smelled awful. Garbage disposal didn't work, plumber had to come. They also had to come and fix the dryer. General speaking the unit needs a good painting and pretty good deep cleaning. We were supposed to get a parking pass that we never got, which didn't seem to be an issue. The owners were very responsive which was also excellent. Unfortunately we will not return to this particular unit or building due to the lack of cleanliness and overall run down atmosphere of the building. But it was a very nice stay!

Didn't start great, but Erin made it wonderful

Our trip did not start out well when we arrived at the condo. We couldn't get the door open but realized it was operator error. When we walked in, it was a gorgeous view to the water. Unfortunately, when we walked through the property, we noticed that it was not clean, at all. There were dirty towels in the bathtub, the beds were in disarray, the kitchen was disgusting and the floors were dirty. I called Erin right away. She apologized and had the cleaning people at the property within 45 mins. They were there for over 4 hours cleaning from top to bottom. It wasn't convenient for us since we ran our errands and came back but we stayed out of their way as much as we could. The fitness center and hot tub were closed while we were there so we weren't able to partake in those amenities. There was construction going on above us which usually started around 8:00 a.m. The location is great. The beds are super comfortable and the space is quite large with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The appliances (especially the stove) are a little outdated. We would make English muffins in the toaster every morning and because it was dirty, it would set the fire alarms off. But the view , the property and Erin were great. We have no complaints. Thank you.
