We enjoyed staying at this place so much, we’ve been back multiple times! The location is beautiful and the house is very comfortable, supplied with everything you need to feel at home for the week.
Place was immaculate, beautiful and would highly recommend. Beds were comfy, lots of room, beautiful view. Fishing was great. Only downside was the distance to Summerside, cavendish and Charlottetown.
Large space, great for our group of 8 (including 2 teens).Views were spectacular with a back deck great for watching sunsets, stars, and storms over the ocean. Kitchen has lots of space. Plenty of rainy day activities (movies, books, puzzles, games). Bedrooms were very comfortable and living areas were roomy with plenty of seating. Dining table was enormous and could easily sit 12-14 people.Lots of great recommendations for things to see and do on the island.Large lawn great for games. Beach access can be tricky - wear good shoes and watch the tide before climbing down to it, but we found so much sea glass. Watching the waves crash against the rocks in the morning was amazing.Area is quiet and away from big tourist crowds. Because of the proximity to the ocean, it can get quite windy. Check in and checkout was extremely easy. Hosts were very responsive.
We had a wonderful stay at this property on the coast of PEI! The house was more than comfortable with a very complete kitchen and all the items we needed for hosting a big family dinner. The view is spectacular and we already miss it! Spent some time on the cliffs and the beach. We look forward to our next trip back to the Island!
An absolute stunner! The online pics and description really does no justice to seeing this place in person. Beautifully furnished, everything you would ever need, and the views...unreal. I'd give 7 stars if i could. We hope to stay there again within the next couple years. Thank you again!
This house is amazing. The views from the back patio and deck are phenomenal. The photos look great, but in person is a million times better! We saw terns, schools of mackerel, fishing boats and all sorts of weather, from gorgeous sunsets to a crazy storm that turned the ocean red from the cliffs. If you venture down to the beach area, you will find all sorts of really cool rocks and sea glass to collect! We had good luck with sea glass right at the house and a little north at Mimenegash beach on harbor road. My family and I went for just about two weeks and loved every minute. The house is on the quieter side of the island and that was perfect for us. We were able to go out and do fun things but also just relax and enjoy the space. Dave and Nancy were easy to work with, very quick to respond, and left a kind note and jar of homemade jam at check in. One thing to know is that other reviews share that the kitchen is well stocked, and it IS very well stocked with kitchen things like dishes, appliances, utensils, etc. Other houses I have rented in the past had things like a small collection of spices, oil, etc., and I made the assumption that those would be there. That is completely my fault/assumption, but know that you may want to bring a basic cooking kit if you plan on making meals. I 100% recommend this house and I very much hope to go back in the future. This was a magical place to stay. It’s in a quiet and peaceful rural area with amazing sea views but tourist attractions and necessities are within 15 minutes drive. The house is extremely clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you could need for a vacation. The owners were kind and helpful. The cliffs and beach alone were worth the trip. We loved sitting on the rocks watching the seals swim by and the fishing boats head in and out of the port. We can’t wait to visit again!

Thank you so much for choosing our home for your vacation. We are happy to hear you had such a great time. Hope to see you again.
Lovely home! Views are stunning from every window. The kitchen was well stocked and a joy to cook in. The dining table is a centrepiece with lots of space to share a meal with your group. The local beaches noted in the house book were great for walking and beach combing (we were lucky with finding lots of sea glass). Lots to do in the house with the family on a rainy day. Birds a plenty and we even saw a seal! A wonderful stay.
Beautiful property, dining room table is a masterpiece. We enjoyed a wild time at a concert at the Stompin Tom Connor Center. Also we enjoyed visiting local towns such as Tignish, Alberton and O'Leary. Don't forget the potatoes museum in O'Leary.

Breathtaking, rugged location with all the amenities.
Stunning views, fabulous shoreline to explore and the property was clean, beautifully appointed and decorated - and worked extremely well for two families of four each. Pictures just begin to describe the property - reality was even better. Highly recommend staying here. Even though it is off the beaten path, it is well worth it. Everything is a short drive away. A fabulous spot to rest, visit with family and to enjoy all that PEI has to offer.

Thank-you Kristen for your lovely review. We are so happy that you enjoyed our home.
The home was beautiful with an absolutely breathtaking location. The sunsets were spectacular. I wish we would have researched the area we were in better, as we had to drive quite a ways to get to a clean beach and any tourism areas. However, if one is looking for a place for simple peace and quiet then this is the location for you! It was very peaceful!

Thank-you for your nice review! I agree those sunsets are one of our favourite things about this beautiful spot! Happy travels,
Dave and Nancy
This house was very spacious and had a beautiful ocean setting. The house was full of all the things you would need. It is a bit of a drive to that end of the island but more than worth it.
This vacation rental has it all. The house is spacious, bright and clean with plenty of room for everyone. It is equipped with everything you may need to feel at home. The views are extraordinary and the property is quiet and private. Thank you for the best PEI rental experience!
Private beaches and memories to last a lifetime. If you want to truly “get away” this is what you’re looking for. You will experience unparalleled privacy and beauty. All island attractions are a comfortable car ride away, and house is immaculately clean and well stocked. Thank you Nancy and Dave for sharing this slice of heaven, we will be back.
The property is stunning , views of the ocean and sunsets are second to none. This is our second trip out to Dave and Nancys place and I can’t wait to go back! We watched whales from the deck swimming around in the waters below, found a beautiful beach two minutes away, and enjoyed every moment at the place. The house is gorgeous, clean, super well maintained and the hosts are excellent! Can’t recommend enough.
Everything is in place for a great vacation: big modern house, clean, full equip . The property is well quept.
Most importantly, the private access to the sea is a unique privilege. Hearing only sound of the waves is today a very rare opportunity.
opportunity.
This was a lovely home and the views-wow, especially the sunsets! It had a Wonderfully appointed kitchen with everything you might need but this lovely kitchen deserves a pull down faucet. The climb down to the rocks was an adventure that takes you to more stunning views. Visit the bakeries in Tignish, Alberton and O’Leary for some amazing and affordable treats. This island knows how to make a cinnamon bun! Expect a bit of a drive into the central part of the island but it is a pleasant drive. The house had a closet full of games, puzzles etc to keep you busy on a rainy day. Overall the house was amazing, we had a very nice stay. I would recommend this property.
Beautiful property! We did a lot of traveling around the island but it was wonderful coming back to this property. It was peaceful and secluded. Internet service in the area is not great which posed an issue with my husband being able to work remotely. He thought it was a negative but I didn’t mind him being forced to spend more time with us. Thank you!
