Peaceful Urban Retreat in Linden Hills

A perfect lake view, hillside retreat that's on the west side of beautiful Lake Harriet and adjacent to scenic Beard's Plaisance park. This ideal location is a short walk to the large, popular, family friendly lake where you can recreate (access to trails, walking/biking paths, swimming, cross-country skiing), sight-see and take in the area's wildlife and nature.

Downtown Linden Hills, with renowned restaurants and shops, is only one block away. The neighborhood includes coffee shops, Sebastian Joe's Ice Cream, gourmet deli, great bakery, fine restaurants, coffee shops and a food co-op. Just 10 minutes away is the infamous Uptown neighborhood.
One block from public bus transportation with direct service to Uptown and downtown Minneapolis. Uber and Lyft readily available.

This gorgeous home built in 2011 is spacious and bright, with panoramic lake views and a comfortable, relaxed family feel.

Perfect for working remotely, with gigabit fiber internet and high speed mesh wifi.

The house has a private, lower level, mother in law suite with its own entrance and drive that is occupied by one of the home owners, Kristy and her dog Lucky.

MAIN LEVEL
Includes an open plan great room, with (almost) floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake and park, luxurious gas fireplace, kitchen with stainless appliances, and elegant sun-filled dining room with 9' ceilings. Enjoy the large walk-out deck over looking Lake Harriet and the front sitting porch.

The den has a comfortable queen sleeper sofa, a closet, and large, bright windows.

A cozy, private back room offers a queen bed and can be closed off from the main area. The full bathroom on the first floor features a gorgeous claw foot bathtub.

UPPER LEVEL
Features 9 ft ceilings, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and laundry.
In the master bedroom, enjoy lake views and beautiful sunrises above the tree tops from the east facing large picture window. This room has french doors, a king-sized bed, walk in closet and beautiful, brand new ensuite bath with walk in shower and separate soaking tub.

The second bedroom has a queen bed, high ceilings, bright windows and a large closet. It also features a comfortable futon-style sofa that folds out to a queen bed.

The property was as advertised and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the property was a short walk from some great restaurants and shops. Depending on the wind direction there could be some airplane traffic right over the house that was a little loud at times. Quick trip to the airport to pick up and drop off guests, but you get the noise.

The house on lake Harriet was amazing! Beautiful views out of the windows of the lake and park. The house itself was in mint condition. Furniture, beds and amenities were spotless! This property is a gem! It is located directly adjacent to a park and looks out over the lake. We all felt like we were in a delightful bird house. Although the home is tucked into a lovely and quiet residential neighborhood it gives the feeling of privacy and openness. The home has been well maintained and is beautifully updated. The open living and dining space was a great gathering place but the bedrooms and front sitting room have plenty of privacy for those wishing to get away from family energy. We found the location to be perfect for our needs of attending a concert in St. Paul and shopping in Edina and the Mall of Americas. It is an easy commute to the airport. There are wonderful restaurants and local coffee shops a short walk away…not to mention the easy access to the park and lake. A special find!

The layout and location of the house worked out great for our group of 7. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely, I enjoyed talking walks. I would stay in this home again in a heartbeat! The location was perfect - relatively quiet neighborhood, walkable to good food, tree lined streets, close to the lake. The home was beautiful. Of note, pictures do not show it but the glass door to the balcony off the master DOES have a shade on it. They nailed everything - big & small. Everything we needed was there. They had tons of toys for young children in the den. There were labels for light switches. There was a sound machine in the main floor bedroom. They had hygiene products in the showers. The master bed & sheets were SO comfortable & my kids said their beds were great too. The master bathtub made for a perfect soak. There were blankets to curl up with on the couch. My 10 year old had a choice to sleep on the fold out couch in the den or on the air mattress I brought in the master. THEN he discovered the HUGE walk in closet off the master bath. He chose that for his room & was happy as a clam.There were fans, which were helpful especially in the little closet lair my son used. The master shower was lovely. The home had great curb appeal & being able to put my car in the garage was a very nice bonus, especially on the day it stormed. The only downside I can possibly come up with is the air traffic. The planes are loud. But this was made known upfront & you got used to them quickly, just like the trains we hear at home. I sent an email after 10 pm one night and they responded quickly. Book this - you’ll love it!

Wonderful house in a Beautiful Neighborhood

Our family group of 3 adult siblings and their partners thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay. The house was set up beautifully - nice furnishings and amenities and the location was central to all our activities. Every morning we had a lovely walk around the lake, and we loved the deck view of the trees, park, and lake. I would definitely recommend a stay at this house and would gladly return!
