St Fort sur Gironde is ideally located for holidaymakers of all ages.

The village is surrounded by vineyards that produce red and white wines, Pineau des Charentes and cognac, a visit to the vineyards is possible as well as distilleries at the producers.

Saint Fort is located 5 kms, the small port of MAUBERT and the estuary of the Gironde, 20kms from the beaches of Meschers and Saint of Georges de Didonne, ZOO La Palmyre first of Europe, a water park
is waiting for you in Jonzac and a leisure center.

 Come and discover the Aquarium of La Rochelle, Hermione in Rochefort, cruises in the islands and the Charente.

A new outdoor covered relaxation area has been built with an outdoor dining area and lounge chairs, overlooking the beautifully manicured garden. A pergola with loungers in the middle of the garden and safe for small children.

10 days in a wonderful gite in Charente Maritime

My wife and I spent a fantastic, relaxing 10 days in St Fort sur Gironde. We rented a very well equipped and comfortable 2-bedroom cottage with a private heated pool. As well as finding the gite all we wanted, the village and locality were wonderful too. We were also fortunate to enjoy sunny, warm weather for most of the time we stayed so we were able to swim and sunbathe almost every day.

Relaxing and well equipped house

We loved the well equipped kitchen, which allowed for proper self catering. Lovely outside eating and barbeque area. Lots of other outside seating areas, great to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. We loved the pool which was a big bonus to the holiday. The rest of the house was clean and well appointed. Sylvie was friendly and very helpful. We liked the village and surrounding area and have already booked for next year, can't wait to return!

Cosy house with great garden

Everything you might need is present in the house: washing machine, dishwasher, towels, coffee, spices, ... the owners welcomed us with a nice present (pineau, a regional sweet wine). The garden, terrace and swimming pool are wonderful! There's only one thing that could make it even better: we found the bed could be a little more comfortable. But everything else was even better than we had imagined. Thank you to the hosts for a very nice stay!

Wir haben 1 Woche bei Silvie verbracht. Das Haus ist in Ordnung, gut ausgestattet, genug Platz für 4 Personen. Der Garten und der Pool sind sehr schön. Sylvie ist sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar, wenn man ein Anliegen hat hat.

La maison est top il y a tout à disposition pour être comme à la maison. Le jardin superbe avec la terrasse et surtout la piscine. Sylvie et Eugénie sont super sympa et disponible si besoin. Maison bien équipée, jardin et piscine très agréables, super accueil et réactivité, petits cadeaux… :) Petit plus pour les équipements pour bébé facilement mis à disposition. Seul bémol concernant la literie un peu passée, mais super séjour ! Un grand merci à Eugénie et Sylvie !
