La Norade is a unique property set in vast lush grounds surrounded by a valley of pristine vines, near the village of Plan de la Tour, and a short drive from St Tropez and Ste Maxime. It is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful holiday as the house is located on a private road, therefore no passing traffic. It is also ideal for yoga retreats as the house, garden and its many terraces offer a space of tranquility where one can enjoy nature to the fullest. The house is only a short walk to the village, where you will find a colorful weekly market, many great value restaurants, a bank and 2 supermarkets.

The property sleeps up to 17 people, but can be rented for smaller groups wishing to enjoy this spacious and relaxing traditional home. The house offers a wide range of entertainment: pool, pool house, petanque, ping pong, outdoor chess, outdoor kitchens, a BBQ, and a billiard table.

The main house includes 4 spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, one twin bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds. Overlooking a charming patio and adjacent to the house are 2 other double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

The house has retained a traditional feel with oak beams throughout and many antique furniture pieces gathered by the family owners over the 20 years they have enjoyed it. There are so many features in this 100 year old farmhouse, ranging from an original wooden chandelier, an open fire, outdoor kitchens and terraces and a superb full sized billiard table on the Mezzanine affording views all over the valley.

Provence at its Finest

Beautiful villa and gardens nestling in the hills above the Gulf of St Tropez. Loads of space and shady areas. Tranquil setting . Superb large pool and games . Good and definitely needed air conditioning throughout . Fine views and nearby typically Provencal village with everything needed - shops markets restaurants. All the best the Var has to offer within easy driving distances - just 15 minutes to St Maxime for the more active but most of our party of ten ( three generations ) just enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place as we chilled out. I've been holidaying in France for years. The South is hard to beat , this villa certainly one of the best we have ever used.

We had a lovely family holiday at La Norade with our children and grandchildren.Our ages ranged from 66yrs to 3yrs. La Norade offered the best combination of rooms and facilities for everyone. It is a rural location with plenty of space, which means it's very peaceful with plenty of areas to find shade. We needed this as temperatures climbed to 38.Access is down quite a rough track, so don't come in a Ferrari!! It is a fairly long walk into the lovely town of Le Plan de la Tour, and is dark coming back at night.As there are wild boar in the area, the grounds have electric fencing to keep them out, so children need to be warned.The property has terraces on different levels, with some rough steps so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, and care needs to be taken with children who prefer to run rather than walk!!Whilst we were there a problem with the drains developed. Rather than a temporary repair a full refit of the drains was undertaken. Considering the work required it didn't cause too much disruption. Antonella was very apologetic and kept in touch with us all the time, and compensated us generously for the inconvenience.The property is rustic with lots of character and has been well used as a family holiday home. The furniture, facilities and equipment reflect this, and gave a family feel where you could relax.Earlier in the year we had stayed at a lavishly equipped villa where we would have felt constantly on edge with children. Why they chose this property

My parents fell in love with this property in 1999. They were looking for a beautiful and large family house to reunite their children, grandchildren and friends, and they found this stunning property. Since then, we have enjoyed the most incredible holidays at La Norade: from the cosy atmosphere of Christmas, to the blossomy days of Easter, the sunny and fun days of Summer and stunning colors of Autumn. La Norade, with its beautiful garden, its amazing open views overlooking the vineyards, its elegant yet cosy atmosphere, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy with family and friends.

What makes this property unique

There are so many features in this old farmhouse that keeps everyone at all ages entertained: the swimming-pool of course, but also pétanque, outdoor chess, ping-pong, billiard... There are also many terraces and spots around the house where you can enjoy some quiet time.. the hammock is a good one!!
