Amazing Villa , great location , wonderful host

This villa is SO clean and SO well equipped we did not want for anything .\the pool is fabulous and so well maintained .Lucy and her family were so accommodating with everything , such great hosts . The location is perfect , close to all amenities an amazing restaurants . We had a wonderful holiday here and hope to go back one day .

Beautiful villa in the heart of Panormos

The villa was exactly as we imagined it. The location is great and you can reach the town center in just a few minutes on foot. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There was even a grill (which was a bit small for 11 people although). If there was a problem, Lucy and her husband were always there to help immediately. Thank you very much for the great hospitality!

Good location in charming village

We all enjoyed the convenience of the villa’s location and it was well equipped. Unfortunately the mattress on my bed (ground floor at the front of the house) was so hard that I slept very badly and this affected my enjoyment of the holiday. I contacted etouri but unfortunately they did not offer any solution.

Lived Like A Local in Panormos.

The property is situated a very short walk from the main pier in Panormos. From there, all the amenities of this small, coastal town are readily available. You do not need a car in Panormos, but you definitively need one to explore the beauty that is Crete. Villa Andreas is a wonderful place to use as a base for a Cretan holiday. The bedrooms are nicely spaced, and there are balconies all over the 4 level house. The beds were a bit hard, but everything else was very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely equipped and there were even some spices to work with, although a second frying pan with a lid that fits would help when cooking for more than 2 people. Overall, everyone loved the house and its location.

Super séjour à Villa Andrea

Nous avons passés une semaine de vacances en famille ( parents , frangins, petits enfants 🤗) nous avons été accueillis par Lucy la propriétaire , souriante, très agréable et qui parle français . Nous ne connaissions pas panormo , c’était la première fois , la villa est super , les photos ne mentent pas! Dotée de 5 chambres , 5 salles de bains , une piscine , un grand séjour , chaque chambre a sa propre terrasse , la villa est sur 5 niveaux , nous étions 11 et chacun avait ses moments d’intimités et du calme . Les propriétaires sont vraiment très gentils et attentionnés nous avions deux bébés , ils nous avaient prévus 2 lits bébés , 2 chaises hautes et avaient même pensé à mettre des barrières de sécurité pour les enfants entre les différents étages . A l’arrière de la maison se trouve un jardin avec une grande table , chaises , parasol et surtout des jeux pour enfants ! Un véritable petit parc pour enfants . Le village de panormo est à quelques mètres et la plage également . Le bonheur de passer des vacances sans voiture . Rita et sa famille

Great property and idyllic location

We were made very welcome at the property. We had everything we needed and people checked up on us throughout our stay. At one point we asked for more plastic cups and these were provided straight away. The location is close to the centre of the village and there are plenty of lovely Taverna's to enjoy. The kids particularly enjoyed Cafe Akth who did lovely ice creams daily for a reasonable price. There are 5 levels to the property which made it a little awkward to gather in the BBQ area however we just used this to dry our washing.

A very comfortable home-from-home

We were 5 adults and one toddler and stayed at Villa Andreas in September 2020 for 10 days. The villa has been refurbished and the access issues mentioned in previous reviews no longer exist. It was very comfortable and has two kitchens, a washing machine, dishwasher and gym, all of which we used a lot. There were many toys for the little one to play with. The villa is arranged over 5 levels with the bedrooms on 3 of them. The communal areas (balconies and pool) were plenty spacious enough for us but in our opinion might be a bit tight for 11 people at the same time. The sun left the pool early afternoon, but it was sunny in the large garden area all day. The villa was cleaned every few days by Maria, who deserves a mention as she did a fabulous job. It is very near to the centre of the village but not at all overlooked. Etouri were on hand to help with anything, as were the owners, Lucy and Andreas. Nothing was too much trouble – we couldn’t get hot water in one of the showers when we arrived but Andreas had it sorted within the hour. It is a well looked-after, and excellently situated property.

Great family home

We had a great vacation with our family. Six aduls and two little kids. There was enough privacy for everyone. A lot of terracces, places to sit in de sun or shade. A big kitchen en livingroom to sit with the whole family. This house is close to te beach and in the village. Nice restaurants en bars. And the surroundings are beautiful. It was a great vacation!

Wonderful villa in excellent location

The villa is a beautiful large house on five floors. It is in a lovely mostly pedestrianised village with interesting shops and good restaurants. The villa is also very near the sea with sea views from five balconies. The description is not quite accurate. There are two interconnected rooms on the lowest floor, two bedrooms on the third floor and one on the fifth. There are four bathrooms but none of the showers worked well. The pool is gorgeous and was very clean. We paid for it to be heated but not sure if this made a difference. The kitchens are very well equipped with lots of crockery etc, good dishwasher and large fridge. We found the mattresses too hard. When we arrived the house had all windows and doors open but many mosquitoes so we were all bitten. We bought plugin mosquito repellents and thereafter kept all the windows and doors closed. Fortunately the air conditioning worked well although the owners seemed concerned that we used it too much. The house is cleaned twice a week but the cleaners switched off the air conditioning and opened all the windows. Overall the beauty of the house and location amply compensated for these niggles - we had a great holiday and we would love to go back.

Beautiful property with stunning views

We had a brilliant holiday at Villa Andreas. The welcome by Lucy was 5* and she was available throughout our holiday to answer any questions. The location of the property was perfect, sitting at the quiet side of Panoramos but within easy walking distance of all the shops and bars. There is no need for a car but it is a help if you need to do a big supermarket shop - we found the village expensive for general shopping a a trip to Lidl was really worth it! The swimming pool was lovely and always clean, the space around the pool is a little limited for 11 though. The kitchen facilities are great, with plenty of cookware and crockery for 11 people. We found it difficult to fit 11 people around the table comfortably at meal times, but we managed. There is nowhere outside for 11 people to sit and eat a meal, which was also a disappointment. We only had two issues with the villa and that was the bedrooms on the bottom floor, these rooms were interlinked, which was not noted on the website. You have to walk through the triple room (3 singles) to get to a double room, meaning those in the double disturbed the triple room every morning. The door to this room is also extremely difficult to open and close and cannot be done quietly, the children could not shut it at all. This really needs to be looked at or made clear on the website. The other negative about the villa is the grassed area, this is a great space but it is accessed through the triple bedroom. This means the people in this room never get any privacy and the outside space cannot be used once people in that room go to bed. In our case we had children sleeping in there so we couldn’t use it after 9pm. This area is wasted space, and access to it needs to be reviewed. If the access to the grassed area is resolved and the interlinked rooms were separated (which they could be) then Villa Andreas would get 5 stars, however these issues really disappointed us hence the 4 stars.

Fantastic villa in perfect location

This property is in an absolutely fantastic location! The beach really is only just over the road and is sheltered and safe for bathing - lovely warm water! That said, we mostly enjoyed the beautiful pool at the villa which is a decent size for serious swimming. The villa itself is well equipped and VERY spacious, a home from home. The arrangement of bedrooms over 3 floors works well. The basement was perfect for my daughter and her husband, with an adjacent bedroom for the baby and a fridge for milk just up a few stairs to the smaller kitchen. Etouri travel were incredibly helpful agents all the time we were there, sorting out cabs and giving a wealth of helpful information. The villa is a very short walk to the shops and tavernas. Our favourite place to eat was Kastro Cretan Cuisine where the food was really far superior to anywhere else we tried. But really most of the eating places are great and free raki shots and complimentary fruit is in abundance pretty much everywhere you eat! The only downside we experienced was that the cleaners were still in the villa when we checked in at 3pm and didn't finish until almost 6pm which was very frustrating after a long hot journey - we were desperate to get into our bedrooms. It all looked perfectly fine when we arrived and we would have been happy for them to go and leave us to it!! Don't hesitate to book this holiday home, it's fabulous!

Lovely house near by the little village with restaurants, super markets and shopping.

The house is very suitable for a bigger family or group of friends. With bedrooms including bathroom separated on different floors you don't disturb each other. The pool and the social areas are perfect for both families and friends with a lovely view over the sea! The owner are so kind and very helpful. We love to come back!

Lovely villa, lovely people!!!

We had a fantastic holiday at villa andreas for my sisters 30th birthday! The villa had everything we needed and the owners couldn’t do enough for us, Andreas even picked my husband and myself up on the morning of my sister birthday and drove us to the next town so we could get a cake absolutely lovely people! The villa is in a great location right next to the sea, lots of tavernas near by and local supermarkets and shops! We visited Bali a couple of times which was lovely also! The pool was too cold to use being in October but we went to the beach everyday and my boys loved swimming in the sea and snorkelling it was very safe for children! Thanks again for s great holiday!!

Great holiday home perfect for a family hols!

The villa is gorgeous and conveniently located. Walking distance to the beach (which is lovely) and the local shops and tavernas. It is clean and adequately stocked with plates/glasses for a large family (there were 8 of us). So many different places to sit and chat (there is an area on ground floor, first and second!) which works really well when travelling in a group. Pool is perfect and our boys loved it. The town itself is gorgeous too, we ate in some lovely places. Family friendly ( not rowdy so don't come here if you want bars/clubs and go to Malia instead! But plenty of places to chill and drink wine or cocktails and eat with children).....couldn't recommend this villa more! Etouri were fantastic too, as was Mrs Lucy (villa owner). My only suggestion would be to have some plastic plates/glasses for families with children as we ended up breaking a couple due to tiled floors and little fingers!!

Lovely villa in a great position.

We loved our stay at this villa - one of the best we have been to. It was beautifully clean when we arrived and we felt very welcomed by Lucy the owner. The layout is great for a bigger group and our whole family loved it. Just as described it is very close to the sea and the views were lovely. The village is also beautiful and we loved being near to the bakery and all the little restaurants. It was easy to visit other places in Crete - we liked Bali and the pottery village. Fantastic property and a wonderful family holiday

This holiday was our first visit to Crete and we will be returning thanks to the hospitatility shown to us by the owner Ms Lucy and her husband, and the property manager Kostas. The property is as fabulous as the photos show. The sea views from each balcony are amazing. I enjoyed reading on the balcony listening to the sea most days. Our children loved the safe, large playground in the gardens. The pool area was spacious and offered another space for our family to relax. The living space was luxuriously furnished with beautiful artwork by Ms Lucy. The bedrooms were all a good size with private balconies for a large group to have private space of their own. The town of Panormos is an excellent choice for an authentic Cretan holiday with lots of local amenities within walking distance. We will be returning next year and already planning this. Panormously lovely holiday for all ages

Where to start ! Villa looked as good when we arrived as in the photos on the website. Ideal for our family of 6 adults, two grandchildren ages 7 and 5, and two grandchildren ages 5 and 18 months. Loads of room for them to play around the house . Swimming pool, well stocked with lilos , etc. Looks as good as in the pictures you see on the website. Gorgeous pool. Children could have played on there all day (and night if allowed ). Poolside ; sunny most of the day then shade late afternoon. Views around Villa were always interesting, plenty of signs of locals ( local villagers all about the village and very friendly ).Visit the tiny chapel on top of the hill opposite the Villa , and take in the view of Panormo . Trips available to Knossos , Lasithi plateau .Villa in the middle of Crete Cleaning service and assistance of staff was great. Staff /owner easily available and helpful, and concerned we are all enjoying our holiday. Several beaches, sandy and child friendly, never crowded. Great Tavernas , with large variety of local food . Great bakery ( fresh warm bread in the morning ), butcher and supermarket all within 5 minutes or so walk.

Fabulous villa, Fabulous location

Property was spacious, clean and well equipped for a party of 6 adults and 5 children. The reception from the owners was warm and welcoming and they were very helpful. Location perfect for the beaches and town/village. The Villa's children's play area was excellent. There are a number of fantastic tavernas close to the villa, our favourite was Kastro's, and our favourite pre meal bar was the Olive Tree and for a late night drink you could find no better place than Nikita's Bar. Would recommend this villa and Panormo to friends and relatives and would certainly return.

A great house in a cozy little village

The house is just great. We were 10 adults and 3 children staying in the house for 2 weeks and the house was spaceous enough for all of us. It is very well equipped, has a nice garden for the children to play in and a lovely swimmingpool area. Everything was as listed on the website and the location is even more beautiful than the photos. The property was very clean and well maintained, full with flowers that make the house even more beautiful. The property was also cleaned many times during our stay, thanks to the cleaning lady! Communication with Kostas before we arrived was really good and on site we met Lucy and her husband which are also very nice people and made us feel like home! The house is situated very close to several restaurants and beach cafés, there are also supermarkets and a bakery just in 2 minutes walk. Panormo is a very nice and cozy location. You can get to know a bit the life of the inhabitants and enjoy the greek sun in a nice and calm way. It is possible to go to boat trips from the harbour and there are several other locations nearby that are worth while going to, such as Bali and of course Rethymnon! A daytrip to Elafonisi is also reccommended! We loved our stay! Thanks for everything.

A Villa as gorgeous as the beautiful weather

Our family stayed for one week in Villa Andreas and really could have stayed for the entire month.... The villa has everything you could need (even umbrellas in case it rains - it didn't!) and was clean, extremely comfortable and much larger than we had anticipated. Andreas and Lucy were the perfect hosts and could answer any questions we had. It was also a treat being just on the edge of town. Panormo is a lovely village, with everything we needed: bakery, butcher, supermarkets, lots of great restaurants to choose from and the choice of a pebble or sandy beach all within a maximum of 10 mins walk. To have a private pool in this lovely village was an utter joy as I think it could be the only one in town that is not part of a hotel/small apartment block. We don't have small children but the sandy beach was a haven for little ones - but just be aware that the villa is on 4 levels so has a few steps and the pool is not too shallow. Certainly recommend this one! Thank you Andreas and Lucy
