Amazing property and views to die for. The home owner has thought of everything you might need.
Amenities and cleanliness are second to none. Super comfortable beds and accommodations. My wife and I could look at the super amazing ever changing views forever. We can not wait to return.
Thank You for everything Angelia.
From the moment I opened the door until I walked out two weeks later, the view of the mountains from every window never failed to take my breath away. It was the perfect home to entertain friends, family, and spend quiet time alone. Angelia, the owner, was so helpful when I had questions, and unobtrusive when appropriate. I loved her dogs, Beau and Max. If I plan another vacation in the area, I would stay at Heavenly Views in a second!
Heavenly views describes this place accurately. Beautifully decorated, very clean and well stocked with anything you may need. The back deck provides a wonderful place to enjoy the view. Location is what you'd expect when staying in the mountains. Owner is very nice, attentive and it's obvious she takes pride in providing five star accommodations. But, with that said, it's worth noting that the reason I gave an overall 4 star rating is because although the accommodations are clean and comfortable and the view is great the owner does live on-site and her presence is obvious. This place is pricey for what you get and I recommend making sure you have a clear understanding on how you are being charged. Heavenly views for sure but this would not be somewhere we would stay again.
Fantastic stay for a motorcycle trip in the mountains and to the dragon.
Me and my friends had an awesome stay at this property recently. We booked it for a motorcycle trip since its located on the foothills parkway, and just about 20 minutes away from the tail of the dragon. Everything was great and started before we even checked in as my friends who were meeting me there got the booking time wrong and arrived several hours early. The property owner, Angelia was kind enough to let them in to drop off their things early, and soon after had the house ready for us and allowed them to start our stay early with no hassles.
Everything about the house was phenomenal, and the view from the back deck is one you just have to experience, as words and pictures don't really do it justice.
The property and owner are "motorcycle friendly", though their is a fairly steep gravel driveway, but it was very manageable and the 3 of us had no issues going up or down, and were even able to store a small trailer near the garage. The owner was also very upfront about this before we even completed the online booking so were we aware ahead of time. There is a paved driveway apron in front of the house where we were able to park our bikes as well, which was very nice.
The owner Angelia does live onsite in a separate part of the house, but she was very unobtrusive and was available and responsive if we needed anything, but otherwise it was fairly unnoticeable that she was there.
Overall we had a nice stay and would absolutely recommend this house to anyone!
Words or pictures are inadequate to describe the beauty of this location of this vacation rental home. Come and see for yourself! Clean, comfortable, and cozy! Then there’s that view! We had a great six nite stay. Arrived with groceries and ate all breakfasts and dinners at the house looking at that view! Made picnic lunches to take on our explorations and excursions. Went to lots of places inside the GSMNP we had visited before and did lots of scenic driving seeing new sites. The Foothills Parkway is a treasure. We were on the go and it was so nice to return to our comfy nest and relax and enjoy that VIEW! We found it very comforting to know that the host was in such close proximity although we never saw her but she answered her phone whenever I did call to ask a question about where or how to go or do something. I was born just down the road in Maryville and had not been to this area in a while and we really had a great time! Thanks ! We hope to return for some mountain therapy sooner than later…
A friend and I decided to meet in Tennessee for a girls weekend and we found this home. From the time we walked in, we knew we had made a great decision.
The first night, we got quite a bit of snow. The views of the snow on the mountains were amazing! We were so happy to get to see the beauty.
The views are some of the best I have ever seen. The house was absolutely spotless and had everything you need and then some. We cooked some meals in and found all of the pots, pans, utensils, etc. that we needed. We visited a local waterfall and just enjoyed the area.
The host gave us complete privacy, but also let us know she was available if needed. Everything was just perfect. I would stay here again without hesitation.
Thanks, Angelia, for opening up your beautiful home to us. We appreciate you so much!!
We had a great vacation staying in Heavenly Views. The views are simply breathtaking. Angelia is a lovely lady and very helpful.
The house was clean, well appointed with all that we needed. We slept in the king size bed (very tall needed the stool provided) and it was comfortable with good sheets. I have mobility issues and the walk-in shower was very helpful.
The deck is great and the hot tub superb and the views..
We recommend a restaurant in Maryville called Bella. The Sunday brunch was excellent. Also, there is a store named Roost a couple of buildings away with very cool home decor items.
We enjoyed it all!
My second time renting this property. The view is spectacular, pictures do not do it justice. The owner went way beyond to insure the house was ready for our arrival. When she arrived the day before to prepare the house for us, she discovered the guests before us left the toilet running and completely drained the well. She called immediately to tell us the situation and that she had someone on the way to repair or replace. She kept us informed every step of the way including pictures and videos of first muddy water then clean water. The effort she took to make sure the hot tub was clean and sanitized was over the top...and we enjoyed it every night! Thank you so much for all you did to make our stay perfect in every way.
I would highly recommend staying here. The views are absolutely breath taking. Angelia was an awesome host. The house is extremely clean and extremely inviting. The area around the house is very cool to explore. It's a quick drive to places like Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Knoxville. I would go back in a heartbeat.
This place is a Gem! 180 degrees of Smokey Mountains to view from a very private, huge balcony/deck! No trees in the way! Better views from the back deck than you'll get from any of the Foothills Parkway over looks! Amazing!
The home is beautiful! Very nice, tasteful, thoughtful decorating. Appliances are updated and clean. The inside is bigger than you would think from looking at the outside.
We were never big fans of jacuzzi's, but the Jacuzzi that Angie has on this deck is amazing and just what my back needed after 12 hours of driving! We used it every night!
We have Verizon phones and although there is no Verizon service, we just set up our phones to use the internet calling feature and we had no issues making our receiving calls and text messages. (I have Android my wife has iPhone.)
It's about 20 minutes from Maryville where you'll find plenty of restaurants and stores to fill all your needs. The drive up to the place and down is easy if you take the Foothills Parkway. If you take Montvale-Happy Valley-Flats there are 4 Switchbacks which if you are not used to can be a small challenge at first, but once you conquer them the first time, it's not bad, and kind of fun!
The driveway is downhill, but you can do a 3 point turn around at the bottom and park it facing the road, or just back down which I did looking out the door and using mirrors. Again, once you do it, it's easy.
Angie is a wonderful, easy to contact host. She's always ready with a recommendation for restaurants, attractions, stores or whatever you need help with! The perfect host!
We WILL be coming back! And we are recommending Angie's place to everyone we know!
It was amazing !! The best views and a great overall home to spend time with friends and family. Super clean and the check in/check out process was super easy. The hot tub looking over the Smokey’s was the cherry on top!!
WE had a great time and found the property to be fully stocked and ready for our week long COVID escape. We were lookig for a vacation where we could stay off the beaten path and still have the comforts of home (and the ability to work). I'm not going to bother repeating what was said in the other reveiws - they are all pretty accurate. I would add that we had good reception on T-Mobile in the house and a lot of the surrounding areas - I assume they share the US-Cellular towers. The internet is via satilite and was generally around 10Mbs, which was fast enough to hold Zoom / Team meetings and internet browsing.
Everything about this place was wonderful. The house was spotless, bed was SO very comfortable. Not to mention the amazing view from the deck and brand new hot tub that was TOP of the line. Perfect area right in the mountain. Even for a bottle of the wine from the owner. Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience Tennessee for the scenery and not the town life. We will be back!
We stayed at Angelia's place from Christmas Eve to New Years Eve. We had some snow on our way and Angelia even sent us weather updates. The snow definitely made the mountain roads a little scary, but also, stunningly beautiful. Our first night there, after 6 inches of snow, the power went out but we were tired anyway so off to bed we went. The next morning, she brought us a duraflame to get the fire started. She offered to put us up in a hotel or let us check out, but honestly, it was fun. We had some fun laughing about it, had some family time without electronics and the power came on the following evening. She is looking at generators in case this happens again, but it wasn't her fault, the 6 inches of snow brought down trees and then lines.
The communication from before we booked to after we left was top notch. You will not be on hold like some companies waiting for a company rep. Anything I asked her received a speedy reply and she was very accommodating with any request. Angelia goes above and beyond.
We went hiking 4-5 days using the Townsend entrance, or Gatlinburg. You are looking at a 40 min (Townsend)to 1 hour and 15 min (Gatlinburg)drive, but it is well worth it . Gatlinburg is like a bad marriage between Vegas, Wisconsin Dells, and a Carnival. We are not fans. We only had to go thru Gatlinburg once that was enough. There is also an entrance really close to Heavenly Views-- Abrams Creek for the campgrounds which is closed in the winter. I looked at tripadvisor and a guy said he went that route to Abrams Falls and said it was great. He parked by the ranger station. We never checked this out but FYI.
Our hikes included Look Rock (walkable from HV), Middle prong fork, Cades Cove and Abrams Falls, Mt Leconte via Alum Cave, and Ramsey Cascades Trail. We only needed our hiking boot cramp ons for Mt. LeConte. I highly recommend all these trails especially Mt LeConte if you are fit. Middle Prong and Cascades trails are musts for any who loves waterfalls. We went in the winter which I highly recommend. In the summer, I heard it gets too hot although you can cool off in the water where its safe.
Side note, while they do not frequently get snow here (we were lucky), I highly recommend a vehicle with 4WD or AWD.
Stay here for the views, the cleanliness, the hot tub (wonderful), the access to the owner if issues arise. Drive a little further to hike, it's worth it!

The view is amazing- as good as it's gets! Great access to Parkway which has great views!
the view is everything the pics show it to be. And with the ease of access it's hard to find a view like that. Our stay was enjoyable and we found the home clean and with everything we needed. The binoculars, kayaks, games, and candy!!! are all nice provisions. Also the cell phone is very thoughtful as ours(Verizon) did not work at all!!! Location is secluded but not too far- 15min to Dragon, 30min Townsend, 45 to Cades Cove, little over hr to G'burg or Pigeon Forge. I will say be sure you review the listing carefully It is a very unique listing and you should take care to understand what you are getting and any possible extra charges. We booked when it was a new listing and a lot of that info was not there. Having no reason to look back at listing after we booked we were caught off guard a few days before our trip with some of the new details. Owner did work with us on that so we were able to enjoy the stay without issue. We really would prefer not having a lock box on the HVAC as we are used to being as comfortable as we'd like. With cool nights and warm days it needs to swap between heat and cool. Not wanting to bother the owners every few hrs we made do. While we understand protecting the property, we weren't fans of all the cameras, especially the one on the back dr/deck. We typically expect that to be very private space and doubt anyone is scaling the side of the mountain to get to it. But again the view back there is great any time and plenty of useable chairs/tables. the driveway certainly isn't bad by mtn standards. We did take our bike but chose not to unload in driveway because the gravel is 6-8in in places. Not bad for vehicles. But not good at all for big touring bikes. it was easy enough to back trailer in by accessing coming from the parkway, to butterfly gap rd, to flats rd, driving past and backing down as owner suggested, thx!. But a bit trickier to get it out. Didn't feel safe hogging the road on the hills/curve so we chose to go all the way back around flats to happy valley to parkway. Possible turnaround area at intersection of flats and happy valley but didn't feel safe with it with curves and hills. but we were able to drop in parking area at LookRock ranger station without any issue. It was closed while we were there and barely any traffic. For our riding friends we wouldn't recommend Montvale rd between Pkwy and Maryville. We came in that way and it's Nasty- bad pvmt on switchbacks and steep! thx 2 owner 4 sharing

You will not be disappointed!
The name says it all! There are truly heavenly views, whether sunrise, sunset, during the day and even the star-laden dark hours when you can enjoy a private deck hot tub! The home is beautiful and Angelia has it so well stocked you just need to show up with your groceries and settle in. Super comfy beds and there is even a washer and dryer (bring your own laundry detergent). Angelia is there is you need her, but is a gracious hostess, giving you total privacy. The house is well soundproofed too! We loved our time here!

Amazing stay! Breathtaking views!
The view alone was stunning, but our host Angelia really was the cherry on top. The apartment was FULLY stocked and furnished... the only thing we had to bring was food and ourselves. Amenities were modern and comfortable...a real home away from home! To top it off, Angelia offered us her kayaks so we could enjoy a day out on the lake...in the evening we grilled on the back porch and enjoyed the gorgeous view from the hot tub.
I can't recommend this place more! Don't bypass your opportunity to wake up this view !

About the host
Hosted by Angelia Garrison
I built this home and have lived here 20+ years. I have enjoyed the views every minute of it. It's like having the world's best artist right in front of you. You will never see the same view twice. I try to give my guests total privacy while being available 24/7 if needed.
Why they chose this property
This RARE OFFERING features a 100 MILE VIEW OF 3 STATES FROM THE DECK! TN/NC/GA! Breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee National Forest accentuate the uniqueness of this property.
This home is located on a rock bluff high on Chilhowee mountain like a grandstand from which to enjoy the ever-changing clouds and qualities of light that bathe the Smokies. You may see every sunrise, enjoy blue sky days, starry nights, observe weather systems from miles away, and yet you are less than ½ hour away from the small friendly towns of Maryville and Alcoa that feature shopping, fine eateries, a four year college with the Clayton Arts Center (where you can see a play or hear musical concerts by famous entertainers), health care facilities, and the Knoxville McGhee Tyson Airport providing major airline service to wherever your business or vacation plans require.
Less than half a mile away is Look Rock and the Foothills Parkway which is a 33 mile stretch of commercial free scenic roadway from Chilhowee Lake to Wears Valley with many scenic pull-offs. Look Rock is a natural observation ledge overlooking the park. An easy 1/2 mile hike leads to the observation tower which sits at 2,652 feet and provides a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of the mountains. The Foothills Parkway is not as busy as other roads in the park, so this is a great place to get away from the crowds and traffic, especially during the peak fall leaf color viewing times in October.
The quaint village of Townsend on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies" is nearby, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Knoxville are less-than-an-hour drive away. Bicyclists are delighted by the Foothills Parkway plus the paved and dirt riding trails nearby in Townsend and Cades Cove. Motorcyclists may never leave as there are rides in every direction including the Parkway, the world famous Tail of the Dragon or Cherohala Skyway.
What makes this property unique
Heavenly Views of the Great Smoky Mountains. No rooftops to look over and no power lines to look through. Unobstructed 100 mile views!
