Nice cabin at the end of the trail. Comfortable furniture. Nice stone wood burning fireplace. Pet friendly. Very clean. Working with Cindy is always a plus. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Comfortable, cozy, clean. Great owner response: There was a problem accessing the key box and Cyndie responded immediately. The cabin was very clean and the bed was comfortable .
My husband and I, along with our pup had a very nice stay in this spacious cabin. It was equipped with everything we needed and was clean, and very comfortable. Cyndie is an excellent host and pays attention to detail. I would recommend any of her properties again and again!
This place is wonderful! I am so happy to have such a positive experience. The short drive to Townsend and Cades Cove made it a perfect location. We will be back!
Make sure to get a gate code to the neighborhood. Other than the gates being closed the last night, and there only being 1 shower, we had a great stay. Would book again.
Best getaway ever! Glad we chose the "peaceful side"
We didn't know what was meant by "the peaceful side of the Smokies" until we got there. So glad we chose this property! Townsend is a quiet, quaint town that is an easy drive to the park, Cades Cove or any of the attractions in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge you want to check out. This propery was better than what was pictured! The jetted tub was a great way to relax after a day of hiking. Better than the hot tub. We could hear frogs chirping and watch fireflies blinking. We would definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay at Trails End. The cabin was so cozy and equipped with everything we needed. It’s far enough away from town to give you peace and serenity but not so far you can’t grab a bite to eat. There were no other cabins too close to ours so we felt secluded. Our host Cyndie was great and very attentive. We didn’t want to leave and even stayed an extra day. I highly recommend if your looking for a peaceful retreat.
The host was quick to respond to messages and the property perfect for our stay aimed at refreshing and relaxation. Did a lot of relaxing, a little local shopping, and some hiking. Exactly what was needed!
We had a wonderful stay this week. The house is very nice, comfortable and quiet. You will find everything you need in the kitchen to be able to cook a great meal. Our host thought of everything to make you feel at home when away from home.We lost power the first evening. I contacted Cyndie and she was at the house within 5 minutes and had the power company enroute. She also made sure we had been able to have dinner. The power company restored power and told us an electrician should come check the main breaker. I relayed their suggestions to her and an electrician was there the following morning. I say all this to explain that if you choose to stay here, you will have an exceptional host. We also got to see a mama bear and her twin cubs just outside the cabin one morning. We will definitely stay here again.
Trails End is a beautiful cabin. Secluded and peaceful was what we were looking for and this cabin fits the bill. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the look of all the beautiful wood and the mountain stone fireplace is gorgeous! It was so quiet, so if you’re used to the sounds of the city, you may want to carry a fan for noise to sleep by. All of the furniture is comfortable with plenty of pillows to chill out with. While there were no bear sightings at the cabin, we did see a buck and doe, a rabbit, and many birds & butterflies, so if you enjoy nature this cabin is for you. If you love to golf like we do, you are only a few minutes to Laurel Valley golf. One of the many things I love about this cabin is that the decor is kept simple and not overdone. Every picture looks like it could have been taken at and around this cabin. We loved this cabin and would love to return here soon!
Really nice but a little clean then would have liked.
The place is nice in general. Great secluded location close to cades cove. However we had a few issues upon arrival. Once we got there, we checked the beds as we do with every trip and found the sheets to stains (either blood or wine) so we washed them in the on site machine and they came out, which leaves me to believe they weren’t washed in the first place. That was our only big issue. Smaller things include the listing of a hottub in the second bedroom. The owner requires you fill the hot tub, flip the breaker on once full, drain the hot tub after every use, and then flip the breaker off. We adhered to these rules but it was time consuming (takes 30 min to fill and 1 hour to drain). The hottub also wasn’t the cleanest at first. We had to do a wipe done of a few spots of grime and remove 2 spiderwebs that occupied the inside of it. Some other minor things include there not being a shower head in the master bathroom, the dehumidifier being full (which led to springtails being present in the bed in the room with the hottub), a few of the blinds being slightly broken upon arrival, and the numerous notes not to sign out of Hulu but it was already signed out on every tv when we arrived. Overall the cabin is nice, pretty, and relaxing, but the upkeep is skeptical at best. If the owners don’t clean it themselves, I’d advise they fine a new housekeeper.
This was a great cabin and was absolutely the cleaner cabin we have ever stayed in. The cabin is very private. The only thing we would change was to add a handheld shower in the large bathroom.
Everything was great. Paved driveway all the way to front porch which was excellent for the motorcycle. Went out to dinner and left house keys at cabin. The host was able to quickly help us out. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone!! Very peaceful and quiet.
