About this property

Boulder Pass, 5 miles from the Great Smoky Mountain park entrance!

Due to some GLITCH in the VRBO system, the reviews show that the property was managed by someone else when these reviews were written. Be assured, that is not the case. These cabins have been under the same management for 5 years. This beautiful Spacious woodland cabin is nestled among the boulders and trees of Sequoyah Village in the Shadow of Rich Mountain. This wonderful getaway offers tons of space for couples or a small family. Located only a few miles from the Cades Cove entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoy the peaceful side of the Smokies in Townsend. This lovely cabin is decorated in a National Park Theme and is an open and spacious floorplan to accommodate couples or a small family. Start your mornings with coffee in the Sunroom looking out the wall of glass into a wooded and boulder studded paradise. Wildlife abounds here so keep your eyes peeled! The kitchen is fully equipped to cook full meals or walk out onto the screened in porch to grill your steak for dinner. After a long hike in the park, or a day’s drive enjoying the sights and sounds of the Smokies, retreat to the cabin for a quiet meal and a long soak in the indoor hot tub. Watch a little television on the large screen tv and slip into the luxury king size bed dressed for comfort and a great night’s sleep. Boulder Pass will charm you with character….come home to the Smokies!

Wonderful Townsend Cabin!
We loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay! The emailed directions were slightly different than our Apple navigation but not difficult to find. The wifi password provided via VRBO was also incorrect, but there is a binder on the coffee table with all of the current information so it wasn't an issue at all. Communication was timely and consistent. We loved the jetted tub and decided we prefer it to traditional hot tubs - no chemicals and cleaner between guest stays. There was ample closet space and luggage storage. Having starter items for the fireplace was nice as we arrived later than expected. On our last day, I sadly realized that I had left a scarf of sentimental value on the rack near the door. I contacted the checkout number and they quickly assisted me with my item. We are incredibly grateful for our time and experience at Boulder Pass and would stay there again!

It is a joy to offer this beautiful home for guests to enjoy when they visit the Great Smoky Mountains. I fell in love with the Smokies on a fly fishing trip here and my heart was captured. I have retired from a career in Real Estate and I am now a full time potter and a part time photographer. My love for nature can be shared with others by hosting their visit to this beautiful area and furnish them with a beautiful accommodation that will help them fall in love with the Great Smoky Mountains and all it has to offer.

Why they chose this property

This community is a true Mountain Community nestled in the shadow of Rich Mountain. It is private and quiet. The cabins are located in a woodsy area surrounded by wildlife that enriches the location and experience of visitors.

What makes this property unique

This property is loved! It is clean and spacious and has plenty of space to spread out for longer stays. The location and the view from the huge all seasons room into the woodsy surroundings gives a peaceful feel for getting away from it all.
