The cabin was beautiful, cozy and clean. We loved the updated kitchen. The bed was comfy, and big, fluffy bath towels are provided. We enjoyed the large deck and hot tub and inside playing a few throwback arcade games, and watching movies on the couch. The host is very communicative and we truly enjoyed our time. Definitely recommend!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Derek covered all the details of the cabin and surrounding areas such as restaurants and shopping. I'd prefer a warmer temp in the hot tub, but it was very clean and fresh. Well equipped kitchen was a plus.
Pros: Cute and cozy cabin with everything needed for your stay. Great location in Townsend. Derek was professional and responsive. The check-in procedures were super easy and the Mountain Mist app with instructions, recommendations, etc. was a nice touch.Cons: The cabin appeared clean, but smelled musty from the moment we opened the door and also had high humidity inside the entire week…our bath towels never dried and crunchy snacks lost their crunch. The first night we went into Maryville and purchased an air purifier that we used in the bedroom, ran the vent-a-hood 24/7, and kept the A/C at a low setting, all of which helped make it tolerable. I did report to management who said they would look into it after our stay so it may have been an isolated thing as most reviews didn’t indicate a similar experience.
Very clean. Close to town but not “ in” town. Groceries, etc. readily accessible. Recommend the ribs at JimBob’s restaurant. Host communicates as needed and is very helpful. Hot tub is great and private. Felt comfortable in the area. Only a few minutes to entrance to the National park. Looking forward to returning.
We absolutely loved our stay, the cabin was very nice and the location is perfect. Not to far from pigeon forge and Townsend a perfect location with coffee shops, tubing, local distillery and plenty of places to eat
This was our second time staying at one of the cabins on this property. Our first experience was great, and Derek the property manager, was responsive. The check-in instructions were also clearly presented and easy to follow, which we appreciated. The location is undeniably beautiful-peaceful, close to Townsend, and just a short drive to Cades Cove. We even spotted a bear from the front porch, which was a highlight. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.The cabin had a strong, unpleasant musty odor the moment we walked in-like wet dog and mildew. We had to open all the windows and drive into town for air fresheners, but even with that, the smell never went away. The couch blanket, curtains, and bedspread all reeked, and the cabin was so damp our clothes felt wet just hanging in the cabin. Towels never dried between showers, and spices we brought from home (and bought locally) crystalized from the moisture in the air.To make matters worse, one of the only mornings we planned to sleep in was cut short by lawn maintenance weed eating and mowing right around our cabin at 8 a.m. The timing was frustrating and felt inconsiderate for paying guests.By the time we left, all of our clothes and even our suitcases smelled like the cabin. Everything had to be washed or aired out after returning home. This property has potential with its location and views, but the moisture issues, odor, and lack of attention to guest comfort made this stay unpleasant.
We booked this cabin for our anniversary trip. Very clean upon arrival. Derek was great with instructions and help with any issues. We had a great stay and will go back to that cabin again for sure!
I stayed the week here with my husband. It was super clean and one of the most peaceful places we’ve stayed in Townsend. No noise whatsoever. We loved the picnic table on the front porch. Thank you for a great experience.
Exactly how it’s pictured, very roomy. It was exactly what we needed! In the perfect location. Easy to find. Overall a wonderful experience and will be back!
Cabin was clean, couch comfy, kitchen stocked for cooking we actually brought few skillets but didnt need. Plenty towels, hot tub clean, bed comfortable there was another upstairs but we didnt need or even go upstairs. Totally recommend
We stayed a long weekend with our French bulldog. The cabin is very cozy and has everything we need. Sleeping was very comfortable and the bedroom downstairs is nice and dark. Fun to play old arcade games as well. If you stay on a Sunday the Bruch at Dancing Bear is really good. Reservations are needed. We will be staying again in the future.
Thoroughly enjoyed our "Christmas in the Cabin" experience we were seeking for a quiet holiday. The Cabin was very charming in a great setting, and its location in Townsend right next to Smoky Mtn National Park was perfect. The Cabin layout was a great use of space. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the overall furnishings and decor were comfy. The generous porch was fantastic. We appreciated the timely communication with management. We will definitely book again when in the area.
First time staying in this cabin and in Townsend. We are very pleased with the condition of the cabin. It was stocked with everything that we needed to cook and to enjoy the peacefulness of the area. We appreciate how clean it was, the sofa in the living was very comfortable, so was the bed. We will definitely recommend it and look forward to staying there again. Thank you
