well the house was too dark not near enough light in this house the toilet downstairs was so loud when flush woke everyone up we found dirty dishes in the cabinet had to wash them. But most of all we had to wash sheets and towels and dry them to me that is not a vacation when you have to clean up something that someone else is supposed to do when you leave parking was not good and I will not rent this cabin again it won't be on my list sorry just being honest it needs work especially for what we had to pay!!!!

A little piece of Heaven

What a beautiful cabin on a beautiful little piece of land. Cabin was clean and well stocked. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were here for our wedding and honeymoon and had a wonderful stay, it really could have not been more perfect!! Will definitely be back.

Perfect little spot!

Hard to find the right word for a property that feels secluded when you have neighbors and one that is minutes to town but whatever that word is suits this cabin! Super clean, cute & owners communicated with us when we had questions. Would definitely recommend & will stay again!

Best cabin in Townsend

This cabin continues to be our all-time favorite place to stay in Townsend. It's private, comfortable and super clean. A roof has been added over the back deck since our last stay and what a difference that has made - we loved sitting out there enjoying the nice weather and beautiful woods. We had an excellent stay and can't wait to go back again next year!

Great New Year Getaway

Came here for an after Christmas getaway with the family. It was absolutely perfect. Loved the location and the fireplace. We love staying at places with wood burning fireplaces. We will def be coming back. Thanks for everything Dawn.

Love this cabin

We have stayed in this cabin at least 3 times and will most likely be back again. We usually stay in this cabin on our Winter visits in January. It is cozy and comfy and well stocked with everything we need to get us through the week. The master bedroom has one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a rental. This place always feels like home away from home.

quiet retreat

We had a lovely (but short!) stay here in Townsend. We got a little turned around but host had directions for us in case google maps failed :) The roads leading in and out were pretty narrow, so glad we did not meet any cars going the other way. Wish we would have had the time to do more, but would recommend to anyone traveling this way. Great price for 3 br 2 ba house, very comfortable and we loved the quiet and woodsy area.

Spent 4 days and 3 nights with my husband, daughters, and my mother.. we were close enough to everything we wanted to see, but far enough away in order to feel private.. Staying in pigeon forge and Gatlinburg is too crowded and does not feel like a cabin getaway.. This was exactly what we wanted.. The Graves Family

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay! Great location and very responsive owners. Cozy and quiet. Everything was clean. Easy access to Cades Cove. One suggestion would be to put a porch swing on the porch, and also to have a few more cooking pots/utensils (such as a non-stick skillet). We had a little trouble cooking pancakes! :) But overall, we loved it.

Wonderful stay

Cabin was definitely more secluded, there are a couple cabins around but it’s in a wooded area so a lot of privacy. GPS will confuse you and we arrived at night in the dark but was able to find it via the directions provided but it was a little sketchy at first I think just because it was dark and a dead end at the bottom of a steep drive lol. We had a bear come up to the back porch which was pretty cool. Cabin was well stocked, it was pretty clean but a few things could have been improved like the jacuzzi tub appeared clean but after filling it up and turning the jets on there was a brown film on top of the water so I suggest cleaning out the jets more often and when we arrived and was looking around there was a cockroach in the bath tub but I only saw the one the whole time so I don’t think there’s a bug problem, and it seemed like an older cabin it had that old cabin smell masked by some plug ins that just didn’t mix well, other than that everything was great. I think location was the best thing about this cabin we normally stay around Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area but decided to stay in a quieter more secluded area for our 10 yr anniversary and we loved it. The park was nearby and driving through the mountains was lovely! A tv in the bedroom would have been nice but not a deal breaker.

The cabin is spacious, clean and nicely laid out. It is in a lovely setting in the woods though the driveway is a bit challenging. We suggest a running start. The air conditioning was comfortable and the kitchen had a good array of pots and pans though it could use a cutting board and a sharper knife. The dollar store in town had a cutting board. The oven could use cleaning as it set off the smoke alarms when we first used it before any food was in the oven. I have to be frank about the beds though. The mattresses need replacing and it was disappointing to have that be the case for all three beds even after asking the owner about the mattresses while expressing my need for a good one. It is not the case they are just soft, they have body impressions that show age. We even tried flipping one. The upstairs bathroom door did not close and that should be self evident to the owners. It was not a problem for a couple, but should be fixed in case you have two couples. We loved the location close to the park and would stay here again if the mattresses were replaced.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. However, needs brighter lighting. Kitchen needs more counter space. Maybe a small island would help. Easy to check in. I’m on oxygen so had some difficulty in walking the trail & steps up to the porch. Upstairs tub has drainage issues.

Beautiful home. Fully stocked with all kitchen items. Not far from main road, but felt secluded and private. Rooms clean and nicely decorated. Back porch is covered. Nice to sit under while a light rain was falling.

You will love Fernwood and Evergreen because they are convenient to the heart of Townsend yet they are secluded. They are also really clean and well stocked! Plus...we live close by and are on call for any issue that may arise.

What makes this property unique

The road to our cabin is beautiful! It looks like you are traveling through parts of Cades Cove. But, it is only 7 tenths of a mile down the way....a great way to experience Townsend!
