We always enjoy our stay here. We come back as often as we can. It’s the perfect set up for a family of 5 with plenty for everyone! I would highly recommend this cabin!
This was such a sweet place to make precious memories with our family. The cabin was absolutely awesome as were the hosts. No schedule was needed and we just went with the moment. We enjoyed fishing, swimming and making smores. Hope to do it again next summer.
Perfect place to relax and unwind, deer, fishing, beach, National Park, hiking trails and shopping all close. The only mark we didn’t check off was seeing a bear. Maybe next time! Cabin had everything we needed and more, would definitely recommend and book here again!
We stayed here for our family trip to the Tail of the Dragon! The cabin is clean and had everything we needed for our stay. You can even get Walmart delivery to the cabin! We loved our stay and plan to stay again! Lisa was very helpful and made everything very pleasant and easy! If you’re looking for a place to stay, look no further!!
We wanted to be close to our family for the Christmas week, so we stayed in this house. It was wonderful! We made beautiful memories with friends and family. The house was clean, cozy, and even decorated for Christmas! The dog run was perfect! We hope to return.
We traveled here to attend bronco rodeo school, and we’re pleasantly surprised how close to our destination this was and how perfect it was especially since we were traveling with a dog. Great communication with the property owner and great property!
Cabin in great location all the directions given were accurate. Very clean and had everything we needed. Communication with owners was great. We will stay here again.
My family and I were so impressed with this cabin. It was exceptionally clean and the check in/out were smooth. The hosts were great and gave us clear & detailed information and kept the communication open just to make sure we had everything we need with regards to the amenities offered. I highly recommend this place for those looking for a secluded getaways.
We had a great time staying here for the Bigfoot Festival. The cabin feels like its in the middle of the woods but the drive to the nearby towns is not bad at all if you need groceries or want to go out to eat. Its the best of both worlds. We had everything we needed, everything was easy to find and the hosts were easy to get in touch with. I'd stay again.
The entire process of renting this cabin was smooth. The communication with Lisa was excellent. The location was perfect for enjoying the Smoky Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The cabin was wonderful, and we enjoyed our stay very much! Everything was spotless, organized, and labeled very well which was greatly appreciated. The matresses were a little too firm for me but I still slept very well, the water pressure was a bit low, the front doors need privacy blinds, and the hot tub could use a little more privacy, otherwise we had a great stay and will definently stay with these fabulous hosts again! Thank You for letting us stay in your cabin!
The house was so cozy and easily accessible in all ways. The environment is very relaxing and comfortable. Enough space to never be on top of each other (there were 8 of us there and 3 dogs). Lisa responded very quickly to ANY messages and kept in constant contact the whole time. Any issues were immediately taken care of and they were so wonderful! Best vacation we’ve had yet all because of this wonderful home and the neighborhood it’s in. Perfect for nature lovers or anyone like me who loves to just sit on the porch and relax for hours, shade of trees kept it cool on the porch and the bullied of the porch made it where we cold be outside in a torrential down pour without getting wet at all. Loved this home loved the people and will definitely be telling everyone about it!
Since December, I've traveled and lodged in 5 cabins/condos. This experience, on Top of the World, was the most like home of them all. All I needed was some groceries. Everything else was provided. The photos speak for themselves, but you don't see that you're in the clouds! Grap a fishing rod and pass for the private pond or lake in the sky. I want to return when it's warmer. Lisa and Charlie are fantastic hosts
This place is fantastic and I’m not easily won over ! We’ve stayed at quite a few places in the area since we come quite a bit for the weekend, this cabin is a gem! It’s spacious yet cozy. It will make you consider downsizing and moving to the simple life. The owners have thoughtfully considered everything you might need to feel at home. Everything is labeled and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal…. Even a crockpot! My kids absolutely loved it and we felt right at home! The outdoor area is peaceful and beautiful! If you are looking for a smoky mountain escape… look NO further! Lisa and Craig are amazing and attentive and you can tell they really have put their heart and soul into this cabin! This is one of the good ones! Book it or be left with regret! I’m leaving refreshed and I’m can’t wait to book again!

Family weekend trip for the University Of Tennessee Orange versus White Game 2023
The process of renting the cabin and receiving information and instructions went smoothly! There was plenty of room for the six of us to enjoy a weekend together. Everything was labeled and easy to find. Everything listed was available. Upon arrival I did notice places of considerable amounts of dust and the house smelled musty. There was a light bulb blown and we had to change a bulb. Pets are allowed which was great for us. The only downside of taking a pet for me was the yard doesn’t have a lot of grass. My husband is disabled and did have some issues taking a shower. There was no bar on the backside of the tub to hold on to. They do have a bar to assist with getting in but not on the back. Overall it was a good place. We had a great visit, everything was in place and we had plenty of room to enjoy our weekend together. We had two teenagers with us and they were happy! We were able to bring two of our fur babies and have them with us.

Worse experience with a host
The property had piles of dirty in several places throughout the first floor, hair in both showers, and the sponge left to wash the dishes with was disgusting. There were several plug-ins that made it hard for my mother with asthma to breathe, even after unplugging them. I have stayed in the smokies MANY times and am aware of bears. This property has a bear path along the front porch which was not disclosed by the host, but by the lady who cleans the property. I feel that is something that should be mentioned as we had a small child and a dog.
When we contacted the host about our issues she immediately got defensive, started yelling, called us liars and then hung up.
Our experience was so bad that after trying through the host and Vrbo for a refund, which we did not receive, we went ahead and left the property booking another cabin to enjoy the rest of our vacation.
My husband and I spent Valentine's Day at this lovely retreat in the TN Mountains, which is just a few hours from our N.C. home. We are animal lovers and part of the animal rescue community, so we were looking for a place that allows pets. This place was perfect. The owners even thought of having a fenced-in area for the dog to stretch her legs. This place had all the great amenities you could want for a relaxing getaway. The owner had thought of everything and provided it for their guests. I HIGHLY Recommend this place for anyone, couples, families, and especially those who want to bring their furry friends!!
This cabin was a beautiful place just on the edge of the Smoky Mountains for our family and dogs to spend a few days away. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The little lake down the road was perfect for the boys to do some fishing and the location was great to check out some of the tourist attractions over in Townsend. We were able to do a hike right into the National Forest just down the road. We would definitely recommend this place for families!
Really great location tucked in the mountains. Great access to the Tail of the Dragon as well. Owners are so nice and helpful. Great experience!
