Provencal house with stunning views of a green valley, the village of Gaujac and Gaujac Oppidum. The house has a beautiful private swimming pool to overflow and closed with a perimeter alarm. quiet and secluded. The house is located in the village of Connaux about 7 km from Bagnols sur Cèze, 20 km from Uzès, Pont du Gard, Castilllon Gard, Collias, 30 km from Avignon and its festival in July and 40 km Nimes. In the village you will find several shops as bakery, butcher, supermarket, greengrocer, chemist, newsagent etc. A large supermarket Carrefour is located in Bagnols sur Cèze.

The house has a warm interior:
Ground floor: living room with lounge and dining room, fully equipped kitchen (Nespresso coffee machine) with dining area. Patio doors from the kitchen and the living room have direct access to the terrace. WC. Laundry room with washer and dryer and extra freezer.
First floor: four bedrooms, three bedrooms with 2-pers (twin 140X190m and a bed to 160x200) and fourth (with 2 beds 80 x 200), two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower, WC separated.
Exterior:
The house is located on a hill in a quiet residential area of ​​the village, on a large plot of over 1000m2 with a beautiful view of the valley. Next to the house is a terrace (40m2) with pergolat, garden furniture and gas BBQ and next to the swimming pool 15m2 terrace with sun loungers, parasol. The swimming pool (max depth 1.70 m) is a heated pool and pool with a submerged beach. The house is located in a very quiet and intimate environment. There is a closed parking for 4 cars at the back of the house.

A lovely, spacious house with great views

We had a very nice stay. The views are stunning and the house and garden were immaculate. There's also a nice 20 minute walk into the small village of Connaux, or to a local vineyard.

Great house, lovely pool

Jessie and her husband were fantastic hosts, waited for 3 hours for us to arrive due to delayed flight and super quick to respond when we needed a doctor at the weekend. The house is a good size and the pin ball machine and 80’s loaded original jukebox are a great addition. Well equipped house with plenty of shade if needed in the garden should the sun deck by the pool be a bit too much!! The neighbours are close and unfortunately on two nights (of 14) decided to play loud music until the early hours but we may well have been unlucky and it was a Saturday night on both occasions. I would definitely recommend this property, can easily sleep 8.

Une belle maison bien équipée, située au calme. La piscine est fantastique. Idéalement située pour découvrir les environs : Avignon, Uzès, le Pont du Gard, etc. Didier et Jessie nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux.

Vi havde 14 fantastiske dage i dette skønne hus. Værtsparret var utrolig venlige og hjælpsomme under hele opholdet.Skønt område med hyggelige byer, hvis man havde behov for udflugter.Pool området er helt fantastisk og super lækkert.Vi kan absolut anbefale dette skønne sted.

Sehr schönes Haus mit prima Ausstattung und tollem Pool. Der Blick in die Provence ist wunderschön. Das Haus liegt am Berg und zu Fuß kommt man beim Aufstieg ganz schön ins schwitzen. Der kleine Ort Connaux bietet bis auf zwei Bäcker , einem Metzger , einem Gemüseladen und einem kl. Supermarkt nichts . Im Einer selten geöffnete Pizzeria kann man Pizza abholen . Dafür gibt es einen Intermarché etwas weiter entfernt in Gaujac. Leider kein Café O.ä , wo man sich mal hinsetzen kann . Sehr gut erreichbar sind Avignon und Uzès, wo es reichlich Gastronomie gibt .Im Haus 4 Schlafzimmer mit zweimal kleinen Doppelbetten, einem gr. Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten . Ein Bad mit Dusche ist quasi an ein Schlafzimmer gekoppelt , das andere Bad mit Wannendusche frei zugänglich. Extra eine Toilette oben , eine unten . Anfang Juli war es sehr heiß und auch im Haus stiegen die Temperaturen, schlafen war schwierig. Viele Mücken trotz Abwehrmaßnahmen !!Die Vermieter waren immer ansprechbar und kümmerten sich !!

Stunning property, idyllic Provençal home, very well maintained, clean, great (and sometimes quirky) amenities and facilities... loved the jukebox!, beautiful garden, comfortable furniture. The lovely pool was a God send given the heat during our stay in June (35 degrees plus). No negatives to report but of the climate continues to expose is to more frequent heatwaves it may be worth considering installing air conditioning or providing a couple of portable AC units. Shutters and plenty of fans are provided but they are no match for temps in the high 30s and the residual trapped heat at night. Hosts were very nice and helpful and replied quickly to the two queries I had during the stay. Should be noted that the property is in a residential area on a hill just on the outskirts of local amenities and specifically at the top of a steep private road/drive way. This was not an issue for us but may be an issue for somebody with mobility issues.So much to see in the area. A great stay, would highly recommend.

We spent an absolutely wonderful week here, it was the perfect Provençal house, close to historic villages, markets, Pont de Gard, Arles and Avignon. The house is even better than shown- the pool is spectacular, and the terrace has a wonderful view of nearby Gaujac, with a table set under a canopy of wisteria. The bedrooms were comfortable and several had windows that opened to the view beyond. Perfect!Jessie and Didier met us at the property and could not have been more friendly and welcoming. They walked us through the property and we chatted about the region(they grew up in the area) and they had wonderful suggestions for the week. They were exceptionally warm and friendly. The Gard is a very beautiful region- full of empty country roads through vineyards, allees of trees and domaines that lead to charming villages. Visit Uzes, Chatillon and Arles- all are lovely. I would definitely recommend the house and would book it again.

La maison est belle et confortable et les propriétaires très sympathiques. La piscine est vraiment très agréable . Notre séjour a malheureusement été fortement gâché par les moustiques qui ont dévoré certains d’entre nous.Les balades à pied sont réservées aux grands sportifs à cause d’une ruelle très très raide pour accéder à la maison.

Dans un écrin de verdure

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour entres amies dans cette maison nichée dans les hauteurs de Connaux. Une piscine très agréable, et chauffée ! Un retour dans le passé avec un juke-box et un flipper. Maison très bien équipée, les propriétaires sont sympathiques et disponibles. A proximité, dégustations de vins, visites de jolis petits villages et activités diverses. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette location !
