It's simply the perfect place for a couple's getaway, honeymoon week, weekend away with a friend (or two or three) or visiting friends and family in SRQ. The Cottage Next Door is available 3-night minimum, weekly or monthly.

Immaculately renovated and tastefully furnished to accentuate all the charm & energy of this unique vintage home. Premium queen-sized mattresses, quality linens, complimentary toiletries and fully-stocked kitchen supplies for cooking at home*. Private courtyard for outdoor grilling & dining, front decks for relaxing, washer & dryer, 2 complimentary bicycles, 55" LED TV in living room, 32" TV in back bedroom, small vanity/sink in front bedroom, WiFi, Cable/Netflix & high-speed internet.

Right next door is our Spa, Nyoka SkinCare which offers a variety of personalized service for women, men and teens by an experienced, professional & caring team. Our menu features specialized facial treatments, HydraFacial, peels, dermaplaning, massage and waxing services all in a calm, stress-free environment.

Located in the historic Burns Square District and next to historic Laurel Park, this safe and friendly neighborhood vacation rental is centrally located and walking distance to absolutely Everything in downtown Sarasota! We are only one block from Selby Botanical Gardens, a short drive to several beaches, including Siesta Key #2 -rated in U.S. 10 miles from IMG Academy, 9 miles to Nathan Benderson Park, 3 miles to Ringling College & 5 miles from Sarasota airport.

Our a cottage has new fire sprinklers, smoke detectors and fire alarm system throughout provide safety and peace of mind for all our guests.

Included are 2 bicycles with any rental / helmets & locks are provided also (use at your own risk for injury or theft) Beach chairs/towels & cooler also.

Other things to note:
Although there is no oven/range, we have provided an array of cooking options including a large Breville Smart Oven with convection, a NuWave induction cooktop with assorted size skillets & pots, built-in microwave, George Forman grill, large capacity electric skillet & flat surface electric griddle and outdoor grill. We offer a single-serve Keurig as well as full size coffee maker and a Breville electric water kettle.

We wanted a location to be able to walk to restaurants and bars. Short distance to beach also. Perfect! Host was easy to contact and even gave us early check in! Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cottage in great location

This cottage met every expectation. Great location for walking around downtown Sarasota, owner has thought of every need from bathroom toiletries to kitchen gadgets. Very clean and nicely appointed. Beds were super comfy. Not one complaint! Will definitely book again when we're back in Sarasota.

Our stay was just spectacular. The cottage is just lovely. My niece & family moved to Sarasota 2 yrs ago & this was our 1st vist. The cottage is perfectly located to walking for everything. Charming Cottage!

A beautiful cottage in a great area — plenty of room for my wife and I. Nyoka and Craig were wonderful to work with — very accommodating, and always accessible. Great location - a short 5 minute walk to downtown and all the shopping and restaurants, and an awesome breakfast/ lunch place right across the street! The cottage was well appointed; excellent amenities, fast wifi, comfortable bedding, plenty of towels, and a nice front porch where we sat outside every morning and evening. And you can take advantage of Nyoka’s spa just steps away! Loved out stay and will definitely return!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1 month stay at the cottage. It was within walking distance of Main St. and the restaurants and all of the fabulous entertainment that Sarasota has to offer. The cottage was perfect for both of us and our daughter stayed for a week and loved it. Everything worked perfectly, internet, TV, air conditioning and there is a nice washer and dryer that we used. We would definitely go back. The owners couldn't have done more for us and they kept the grounds in excellent condition.

The property is in a prime location just a short walk away from downtown Sarasota. It's a cozy space that comes with generous amenities and a welcoming thoughtfulness. The kitchen is well stocked with glassware, dishes, appliances (even without a full kitchen) and supplies, and the bathroom is supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and other sundries. The house provided a wonderful sanctuary from the scorching July heat. Nyoka, the host, was extremely quick to respond to questions and requests. She even helped us schedule a couple of last minute appointments at her spa. All in all, we had a truly relaxing stay at The Cottage.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We loved staying at the cottage next door!! It was very welcoming, super clean and well-appointed with every amenity you could need. The location was perfect, short walk to many restaurants and shops. Also close to the bay front marina. The communication with Nyoka (the owner) was excellent before, during and after our stay. We definitely plan on returning and I look forward to visiting her spa which is right next door.

This is a great cottage downtown Sarasota. There are restaurants and parks within walking distance. The beds are comfortable and the cottage has everything you need to include beach towels and chairs. Would recommend!

Charming cottage with everything we needed!

We loved our stay at The Cottage Next Door! The location is perfect, on a quiet street close to everything going on downtown and to the bay and Selby Gardens. The cottage was impeccably clean and tastefully renovated/modernized with great HVAC, comfy beds and everything you could need. The induction burner was easy to use if you want to cook, but we also enjoyed sampling the many restaurants within a few blocks walk. The house was filled with thoughtful extras like filtered water, fresh ice, Kleenex and toiletries, different kinds of coffee and tea and other touches that made our stay even more comfortable. We will definitely stay at the cottage again when we return to Sarasota!
