When you stay at the Shipp's Cabin II, you will sleep to the sound of ocean waves and a gentle ocean breeze in this Luxurious beachfront villa. The twin sized murphy bunks make full sized adult sleeping arrangements comfortably for 6 adults.

This villa is conveniently located on the popular Isle of Palms Front Beach strand and set just behind the sawgrass dune where, from your balcony you'll enjoy a clear view of the ocean and the tropical surroundings, while experiencing a special privacy, out of view from onlooking beach crowds. The first floor elevation of this villa (ten steps up) and its location in the end building with a special cut-through walkway, make it an even shorter distance to and from the beach and the pool make it especially desirable in a complex with no elevators.

If you don't feel like grilling out at the beach side barbecue pits, you are only a stone's throw from the Banana Cabana, the new Coda Del Pesce (Italian Seafood), Coconut Joe's, Luke & Ollies Pizzaria, Acme Lowcountry Table, The Sea Biscuit and the world famous Windjammer beach bar and grill as well as the Front Beach shopping area. This condominium complex claims the only pier on the Front Beach strand and is private for your fishing or relaxation enjoyment.

We loved the location of this property. We were a couple minutes from the pool and beach and very close to many restaurants. It was so nice to be able to walk to get coffee in the morning and to have so many options within walking distance for dinner. We will return!

The fishing pier gave a good view of the ocean and beach without getting sand on my feet or sandals every time I went for a walk. Foot height and full height showers located just on the condo side of the dunes and foot washer at the stairway to the condo helped to keep our condo clean. I liked that we were on the beach and just minutes away from the inland hospital, a Walmart and other large stores.

We had an ocean view but ours was from the side. We could only see just above the dune that protects things from the ocean when it gets angry. We already knew this from the pictures and the listing. The condo was just what my wife and I needed for a week of sand, relaxation and getaway. Short drive to Charleston and that’s one beautiful city. Lots of really good seafood restaurants close and within walking distance. Host answered all of our questions before arrival. Very easy check in and check out.

The unit is in a complex and this one is bottom floor making easy access to the beach, albeit maybe not the ocean views if that’s what you are after. Personally we liked the access and ease of getting in and out. Great communication with the property manager and super easy check in. All in all a 5 star star!

Amazing location!!!

You cannot beat the location of this property! The convenience to the beach was so handy. So many great restaurants and bars (some with live music!) within a very short walk. The beds (only used the main bedroom and the lower twin) were very comfortable with plenty of nice pillows and towels. We were thrilled there were beach chairs (backpack style) to use on the beach. Lots of great storage for our clothing and toiletries. LOVED sitting on the balcony! Property manager was very responsive with answers to questions.

Great location with good beach access. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance of the condo. Easy drive into Mt Pleasant for restaurants and shopping. Nice little grocery store about a block or so away from the condo. I will note that we thought we rented a place with a washer and dryer as it's listed as so. There is actually a laundry facility that you have to pay for on the opposite side of the complex. It is not in the unit.

Too small

Generally the place was nice. The unit is on the small side. Master bed has about 1 ft between sides of bed and wall. Also outside light shines into master bedroom all through the nigh. Need to have blinds curtains completely closed. Not much space for storage of luggage. Oven is small and does not work well. The back slider does not lock. Needs new lock or bar stop. The complex is nice and well kept. Pool is nice as well as access to beach.
