THINGS TO KNOW
Beginning in September 2022, work on Phase II of the irrigation system will begin. This project will take about three months to complete. There will be significant impact around the Buildings 8 thru 12, & Building 21 as they dig new trenching and replace irrigation systems. Expect noise & dust from the work.

Ac was good, fans mostly were enough. Great location. Furniture dated not so comfy. Loved having the garage. Fairly well equipped kitchen, pots and pans could be replaced with one full set rather than odds and ends . Master bath shower very small. All pros and cons aside, thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Great Hawaii adventure

My husband and I traveled with my sister and her husband. The condo was perfect for two couples. The location was a great jumper my off point to explore the entire island. The condo was clean, cool and comfortable. We will definitely return the next time we are on the island.

Second stay there not as good as the first

Property was clean as always but the internet did not work for a good part of the stay and the hot tub did not work at all. This is outside of the condo’s control but still affected the trip.

Comfortable and good location

We enjoyed the Colony Villa and the community feel. The pool was lovely and waste and recycling disposal was very convenient. Our villa had everything we needed. It was clean and we loved the location on the fairway of hole 9 of the Beach course. The beds were comfortable with lots of linens. The management were in touch making sure we were comfortable. Parking was also excellent. The bathrooms need a little updating and the living room furniture could be replaced but that’s really the only thing I’d say that wasn’t entirely positive.

Convenient and affordable

Great views of the golf course from the lani. Nice to have parking for 2 cars, 1 inside small garage and 1 in the designated reserved parking stall. Has lots of beach chairs, Boogie boards, umbrella and some snorkel gear. But no cooler at this location. This home could use some updating, lots of cosmetic things. The carpet needs to be tore out or re-stretched.

Nice Location

This unit is in a great resort - Nice pool and close to shopping, foods etc. It was nice to have a few staples in the kitchen, spices etc left from previous guests. Unfortunately I cannot give 5 stars for the following issues: The furniture in the living room is very uncomfortable, faded and worn. The three TVs are not smart tvs, so no streaming or even slinging to watch. The Music system would not power on, and there is an excessive number of dusty silk plants throughout the unit.The Primary bedroom has a terribly uncomfortable mattress.There is an assortment of beach chairs, tennis rackets, beach toy, umbrellas, and boogie boards that is nice. The AC was nice and cool.

10 week snowbird

This is a large condo located in a beautifully kept complex. Only 1 1/2 miles from A-Bay and 25 minutes from the airport. Great view from patio and top floor balcony off the bedroom that we enjoyed every morning. A quiet condo with permanent elderly residents on both side adjoining units. Management was quick to respond to any issues we had. Nice to have a garage to park up to a midsize car/suv. Well equipped beach supplies. Recommendations: Remove the huge entertainment center and small tv and replace with 65" smart tv. Replace carpeting, its filthy and beyond cleaning, Better yet install laminate. Blinds in living room and second bedroom will not rotate open or close tight allowing to much light to filter in. New comfy padded furniture for lower patio would be appreciated. Garage door remote available to use in the car would be helpful.

The condo was very clean. Our main problem was with Vacasa; they wouldn't deal with construction next door which was amazingly loud. I called them up; they said they get back to me; and then crickets.

Great accommodation in great location

The unit in the colony villas complex is easy to access, offer garage parking which we used daily, and it's very close to the swimming pool. Everything worked well, unit is very comfortable, and it's always great to have all the beach accessories available. Highly recommended for families with kids. We'll be back for sure.

Pro: Beautiful condo. Great lawn outside back porch. Con: Shared a wall with a condo getting new floors. BANG BANG BANG for 2 weeks. One day from 8 am till 8 pm. The dryer shut off mid-cycle every time we used it. Had to turn it back on every 30 minutes. The 2nd bedroom was too hot to sleep in, even when we turned AC down to 68 degrees. I had to sleep on the couch the first week. AC control said " Do not turn lower then 72 degrees. What a joke! Unit needs a dish drain board for hand washing dishes. The spare bathroom bath tub needs a non-slip mat. Almost broke my neck in there.. Lots of tiny ants in that bathroom, but they were friendly. The manager of the complex was nice. The head groundskeeper was super! The closesest pool was still under construction. Might be finished by the end of July.

Very nice stay

Beautiful property and location, pleasant family area with shopping, dining and beach just a couple of minutes away. Property is gated and secured. Lots of amenities in unit, various kitchen utensils for cooking. Initial checkin/unit entry process a little daunting after long, late flight…suggest a map be provided, a little more clarity on keypad. But day to day entry and exit were no problem.

Enjoyable stay

We've stayed at three different units at the Colony Villas in the last four years. This unit is well appointed and equipped and had plenty of beach chairs and toys which is important to us. Would definitely stay here again. However, there was zero "left overs" other than coffee filters which was a first on our almost 30 years in renting vacation properties on 4 continents. No left over salt and pepper, sugar, paper products etc. We left that all behind in this unit and would be nice to know if these are being disposed of due to Covid (not necessary) or cleaning staff taking them (which is why I don't trash unopened food or remaining liquor but please leave some basics left from the last vacationers). Also, a set of plastic cups would be nice for patio and pool use. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
