The first level has four bedrooms with oceanfront deck off two bedrooms, two baths, and washer/dryer laundry area. This deck offers built-in seating by the large 6-person hot tub with EZ-lift cover and a waterfall. The upstairs has a convenient half bath and an abundance of windows and juniper wood walls creating a light, warm atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen is supplemented by a breakfast bar that opens into a dining area with two large dining tables and stunning ocean views. The spacious great room with wooded cathedral ceiling and Smart TV is the perfect place to entertain or just relax. The great room opens to a wide, furnished oceanfront deck and spectacular ocean views. The extended top deck has built-in seating for watching the beautiful Hatteras Island sunset. Ceiling fans, carport under house, outdoor shower, grill, fish cleaning table, plenty of parking, short distance to shopping, grocery store, spa, bike rentals and coffee shop. Private community pool and tennis round out the benefits of this home.

Overall, the house was great. We enjoyed the hot tub and the puzzles/games in the house. Be prepared for the long walk up and over the sand dune. Once you are on the beach, it’s not crowded and so nice. Lots of restaurants and stuff to do nearby.

We had a fantastic time. The property management company is great. They are very responsive, and helpful if there are any issues. The house is exactly as pictured and described. It is conveniently located, walking distance to many things. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 stars is when we arrived there was a light bulb out in a bathroom, and some hair in one of the drains. Otherwise it was clean, and great for our vacation.

Review of rental

The kitchen and living room/dining room is spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms are adequate. We did have problems with the TV on arrival and it was fixed within 2 days. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. One dining room table was clean but the other one needed to be clean. Overall, our stay was fine.
