Reviews...if you are seeing a review that makes you skeptical, please ask about it. Guest tends to leave bad reviews when they are called out on breaking the rules. Usually, they have booked for 5 then bring MANY MORE or they bring a pet.
We Disinfect, Sanitize And Spray for bed bugs after every guest. We apologize but due to all the additional sanitizing/disinfecting that has to be done we had to change the check out time to 10am & check in time to 4pm.
We also own the house next door, listed as "Peaceful Riverfront #2" so we can accommodate up to 25 people. contact me for more information (805)720-0545
This is a very nice home with THE SOUTH FORK OF KAWEAH RIVER FLOWING THROUGH THE BACK YARD, AND AMAZING MOUNTAIN VIEWS. It is furnished for comfort. 2500 square feet of living area. All the rooms are nice sized with spacious bathrooms. Large great room for family gatherings, with a large brick, corner, wood burning fireplace (Seasonal restrictions apply and We supply some wood from Nov. 1st thru March 15th ) It has a nice large front yard, large stamped concrete drive, lots of parking, and beautiful brick work. There is a nice rear yard with THE RIVER flowing through it, and beautiful trees.
The great room has a comfy sofa, chaise lounge, 2 recliners, 65 inch 4G Smart TV with CableTV, DVD/VHS player, a small selection of movies, large windows with VIEWS OF THE RIVER THAT FLOWS THROUGH THE BACK YARD AND BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN VIEWS. There is a sliding glass door leading out to the large deck.
The dining area seats 8, with more seating at the counter. There are 3 beautiful tall windows that provide a VIEW OF THE RIVER and MOUNTAINS. A well equipped kitchen opened to the living and dining areas WITH A RIVER VIEW, island cook top, built in oven, French door refrigerator, dish washer, microwave, toaster oven, blender, mixer, dishes, pots & pans, crock pot, wine & martini/margarita glasses, spices, toaster, eating & cooking utensils, knives, and then some.
There is a laundry room with washer and dryer, laundry soap, and softener sheets just off the kitchen. We do spend quite a bit of time there, so the house may be better equipped than investor properties.
The large master bedroom has a sliding glass door with VIEWS OF THE RIVER AND MOUNTAINS, which also leads to the deck. There is a Cal King canopy bed, a 55-inch TV with cable, and furniture that provides plenty of room to unpack.
The large master bath features a cedar lined walk in closet, double vanities, and MY FAVORITE is the LARGE JETTED TUB with two large windows with VIEWS OF THE RIVER/MOUNTAINS (Pour a glass of wine, and it doesn’t get any better than that).
Bedroom #1 has a twin daybed with trundle, a desk, some books, and an armoire for your clothes. It also has an old style TV with front jacks for the kid's video games.
Bedroom #2 "The Blue Room",. is very nice, with lots of natural light from the 3 large windows over looking the large front yard, and the large sycamore and oak trees. It has a queen bed with a very comfortable mattress topper (can be removed if you require a firmer mattress), large dresser, a nicely sized closet.
We also have 2 roll away beds, and two sleeping pads.
There’s a large rear deck with, propane fire pit, Gazebo to shade from the sun or rain, tables and chairs, seating for 11, an umbrella, and a propane BBQ grill. You can enjoy watching the family play on the lawn while soaking up THE SOUND OF THE RIVER FLOWING AND THE AMAZING VIEW OF THE FLOWING RIVER AND MOUNTAINS. Or, enjoy your morning coffee while watching the squirrels, or the many different beautiful birds, turkeys and quail among them, as well as the occasional ducks in the river and deer.
The family can have fun with board games, cards, croquet, volley ball, and bean bag toss.`
Keep in mind the house/Three Rivers is located in a country mountain area so there's wildlife including bears, mountain lions (I've never seen one), turkeys, quail, squirrels, snakes and plenty of insects including fly's, spiders, bugs, rodents and mosquitoes.
This is a "No Host" rental, but we do have someone local in case of an emergency.
The housekeepers do an excellent job, however they are human and may miss something especially during the busy season. Feel free to contact me with any problems.
Please keep in mind that the amount (if any) of water in all rivers in Three Rivers will vary depending on the time of year, how much rain and mountain snow melt and how hot the summer is. It may be seasonal.
Three Rivers has many festivals and events. It offers an abundance of riding/hiking trails. The Sequoia National Forest is world renowned for it’s beauty, Giant Sequoia Trees, and the famous General Sherman's Tree. There are plenty of places to eat, a grocery store, mini-markets with gas, medical facilities, fire station, library, post office, thrift store, gift shops, museum, gallery, antiques, and even a new brewery.
This home is located in the beautiful “Cherokee Oaks Community”, which has beautiful oak and sycamore trees, maintained roads without the city traffic, lights, or noise. The area is perfect for family walks, and riding your bikes. My grandchildren love to ride their bikes while we are there, and I am comfortable they’re safe.
Lake Kaweah is only 1.5 miles when it’s full, otherwise it’s about a 10 minute drive. Great for fishing, boating, jet skiing, and swimming. They offer fishing and patio boat rentals at the marina
There’s a 3 day minimum requirement for holiday weekends.

About the host
Hosted by Cyntha Bolding

I am retired, with 3 grown children, and 4 grandchildren 1 great grand child. I purchased this home as a family vacation home, a place where we could make some wonderful lasting memories, and start some new traditions. We are happily accomplishing both. We love the unique area, and the location because we are so close to the beautiful sequoias, and a lake. My 15 year old grandson loves to fish, or at least trying LOL! 3 of my grandchildren have autism and they love Three Rivers. I recently purchased some property with vision of stating a day camp for special needs children with many fun activities for them to enjoy.
Why they chose this property
I’ve wanted a home in this area for a few years, but it had to be on the river and they don’t come on the market very often. I fell in love with this house because of the sound of the river flowing, the yards, the great room with the brick fireplace, and all the windows with a river view. When I walked in the door I said, “This is the one”. I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
What makes this property unique
The location makes this home unique. We are on the river front, one of the few houses on the south fork river that you don't have to climb down many boulders to get to the river and you can see the river from most of the rooms in the house, about 6 miles to the Sequoia National Park entrance. We are close to everything, easy to find, and kid friendly. It’s also only 1.5 miles to the first entrance to Lake Kaweah, when the water is high. When the water is lower, it is still very close. The marina rents patio and fishing boats. We love the lake and the mountains. The area is so peaceful and beautiful.
