Cabo San Lucas is about 1 1/2 miles from the resort for nightlife. There is a Fresca grocery store within walking distance. It is full service-gourmet food items, typical groceries, bakery, produce, liquor, and wine +. Walmart is approximately 1 mile away/and Costco just beyond that. There are three nice restaurants within walking distance, and the "Pool Bar" on site for light lunch/dinner menu + cocktails. Much quieter location than the downtown hotel locations as most of the units are privately owned. Beautiful pool area with swim up pool bar, and waterfall.
We are asked often about transportation. With car rental getting so expensive lots of our guests use Uber, taxis, and the busses work well for going into town. If you do rent a car there is a $ 3.50 per day parking fee that you pay to the gatekeeper. If you like doing scenic drives, and visiting other areas a car rental could be good. But, if you love enjoying the pool, and beach here on site a car rental could be a waste as you are paying for it while it sits in the parking lot. There is a shuttle service from the airport to the resort entrance.
