Loved our stay! The location is beautiful and the cottage is very private. The front porch has lovely rocking chairs and candles - perfect for watching the sunset or relaxing in the evening.
Always beautiful up here. Cozy and clean cottage. We have the most relaxing time up here. Our first time was for our honeymoon four years ago. This is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the mountains. We will definitely be back again!
My husband and I wanted a weekend away from the world to get peace and quiet. This was most definitely the place. Absolutely adorable place and away from it all! Very comfortable setting and loved watching the baby deer and its parents walk past the cabin.
My husband and I celebrated our 17 yr anniversary at this beautiful cabin. This was a wonderful spot, very clean, beautiful area, and just what we needed!
Well kept quiet cottage with all the convenience of home. Nestled in close to downtown Lexington history! A great place for rest and relaxation. You will make some wonderful memories here!
The cottage was immaculate and checkin was super easy. The bed is quite possibly the best bed I've ever slept in! For a couple on a weekend or week long getaway this is a perfect place to stay that's close enough to Lexington to check out and explore but not in the middle of anything for some private time.
This cute and rustic cabin is close to town but feels very private and secluded. The cabin was adorably decorated and clean. Thoughtful touches were abundant throughout. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the dragonflies. A peaceful getaway but close enough we were able to DoorDash a meal.
The cabin was good. The bed has bedbugs, and it was not very clean. The rest was good. The neighborhood is close relatively in car to Lexington. Issue, there is very little places to walk or trails. They are near in car but not close to the property.
We were in Lexington for a family wedding. This cabin was nice as it allowed us to be close to all the action but away from the more stressful moments. The pictures are accurate & the bed was comfy. The jacuzzi was great after a long hard hike. Lexington was close to good trails & had a terrific brewery & good restaurants.
Very nice cabin, we were extremely impressed by it. It's location as perfect in relation to Lexington (maybe 5 minute drive), the surrounding scenery was very nice. The attention to detail of the cabin was very thorough as well. Cabin was clean and hygienic material provided (soap, shampoo, towels) was on par with a top notch hotel. The only room for improvement we saw were that the ironing board was actually broken down the middle and had been broken from a previous guest I suppose, so my wife had to use the dining table. Also, not sure if that is indeed supposed to be a vent in the bathroom, but that wasn't working. Other than that, nothing else and we'll look at staying here again in the future.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will make sure to replace the ironing board and vent. I’m glad you enjoyed the cottage. We hope to see you back again!
What can I say other than, Magnifique!
The cabin was beautifully furnished (sharp knives, fast internet, hot water, ample soap & linens) and a lover's oasis. The indoor fireplace and working hot tub w/ jets are the high selling points of the cabin. Wood interior throughout makes it feel warm and inviting. Kingsized bed is memory-foam soft.10 minutes from downtown Lexington, VA, you can easily get all essentials and cook up a fine meal.
Cabin was clean, easy to locate, and worth returning to.

My last VRBO experience
The zero cancellation policy for VRBO makes no sense. Why should someone be charged for cleaning, fees, etc IF NO ONE STAYS AT THE PROPERTY. This policy makes even less sense given we are living in a world of COVID where people’s situations can change last minute.

Hi Wesley. This seems more like a bad review for vrbo and not a fair review of our property.
