Relax at the Firefly Retreat! Within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg!

This three bedroom house lies on a large lot that overlooks the Roaring Fork Creek and has a view of the Gatlinburg Sky Lift. The house is 0.9 miles from the Aquarium, which puts you very close to downtown Gatlinburg and all it has to offer. You are also only 3.7 miles from the Sugarlands Visitor Center in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you don't want to walk downtown, then there is a trolley stop a short distance from the house. The house is also located just 4 miles from the Rocky Top Sports World. As an added bonus there are no curvy, hilly roads to worry about because this house is right off of HWY 321.

This house was built 2018, boasting three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom includes a king bed, ensuite, and 32" TV. It also has a patio door that leads out to the front porch so that you can sit and listen to the peaceful creek. On the other side of living room are two identical bedrooms with queen beds and 32 " TVs. In between the two bedrooms is the second full bathroom. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open concept. The living room has a gas log fireplace, a 55" TV, and a Blu - Ray Player. The couch in the living room is a sleeper sofa that could bring the accommodation of the house up to 8. The Kitchen is fully furnished and also has a full size washer and dryer for your use. Outside of the house it a 24" x 16" JUMBO Park Style Charcoal Grill if you would like to cookout will here. All TVs are hooked up to Spectrum Cable and there is high speed internet for you to use included in your stay.

The little things that make a big difference! The home is stocked with a starter supply of consumable items, including coffee filters, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, and garbage bags. Less planning for you, more enjoying your vacation!

The view from the backyard was beautiful

The house was clean and cozy. Just close enough to the main strip of Gatlinburg that if you don’t make the last trolly the walk back isn’t horrible.We had two kids with us and they had a blast.

Great Place to Stay

This was our second time staying here and would definitely recommend it. When we first arrived we thought there may be an issue with the guest toilet and reached out to the owners to be on the safe side, he came out right away to take a look, which was much appreciated. The owners also made sure to have maintenance take care of the driveway before we arrived to ensure there was no ice. The house is well stocked with towels, wash cloths, cookware, and cleaning supplies. Plus, the location is ideal if you want to be close to downtown Gatlinburg, but avoid all of the noise from the crowds.

Friendly Location

Perfect place

We were very impressed from the moment we drove up until the time we left. We will definitely be back. Kitchen is equipped with everything we needed. Linens and towels very clean and fresh smelling.

Clean and spacious property

We had a family of 5 including 3 kids aged 7, 12 and 14 and there was plenty of space for us to split into the 3 rooms for comfortable sleeping. The property had a well stocked kitchen (even with some extras such as microwave popcorn and we loved that they left us a package of water bottles). The hosts were extremely responsive (even dropping off some laundry pods for us when i reached out indicating there was only 1 in our unit). The property is on the edge of town so we did usually drive if we were going to eat (it is about a 1 mile walk/drive) but we did appreciate the quiet surroundings (and a black bear we saw out our window). Finally i appreciated the host's willingness to let us check out just a bit later on our last day since we needed to shower after a morning hike.

Adult family of five plus grand parents. Plenty of room for us. Clean, well stocked and well maintained Close to town and main road so we were near to everything we needed. No steep driveway to contend with. Very quiet. Washer and dryer came in handy as well. We would stay here again.

Home Away From Home

We have been going to Gatlinburg for years. Property is a short walk from downtown. After getting some groceries, we park the car and walk everywhere. Everything we needed was provided. Unit was very clean. Check-in was easy. We hope to return.

Perfect for us

We enjoyed our stay at the Firefly Retreat. We made use of the sofa bed. It was clean and the house had a foam topper and extra linens for it. The kids slept on it with no complaints and it was easy to setup. The house is within walking distance to the strip, but off the main drag so it's quiet. We chose not to walk if it was dark out of an abundance of caution, but enjoyed the option during the day. The pancake house near the Firefly was delicious. Owners are very responsive to messages and the checkout process is easy.

Great house!

This was a great little house to stay at! It suited our family perfectly. The location was very nice. Close to things, yet in a quiet area. The master bedroom mattress was very firm. We would stay again.

Great Stay

This property was very clean and spacious. It’s very close to the center of Gatlinburg so travel time to the strip is very convenient. I would recommend this property and intend to stay again in the future.
