About this property

Newly renovated (flooring, furniture, mattresses, linens, decor, stove/vent hood, TVs). This is our second in the complex. We Love it up there!

Conveniently located above downtown Gatlinburg in the Summit of Gatlinburg condo community. “Smoky Mountain Memories” is a 3 bed, 2 bath corner unit that boasts 2 separate balconies for amazing mountain views. Both the sunrise and sunset can be seen from our condo balconies. New renovations/updates include flooring, paint, furniture, mattresses, linens, decor, stove/vent hood, TVs. This TOP floor (3rd) unit has 3 bedrooms, the master has a queen size bed, the second bedroom with twin beds, and the loft has a queen also. If you have mobility issues please note there is NO elevator. The private spectrum WiFi is excellent.

There is a functional wood burning fireplace and wood is typically available seasonally for purchase at the clubhouse. Ashes are disposed of in the buckets near the rental office labeled for ashes.

The Summit amenities include seasonal outdoor pool (indoor pool is closed for major repairs opening late April 2024) playground, a game room and a coin operated laundry. All of these are a short walk from the condo. The condo has a small but well equipped kitchen with what is needed for preparing meals. The dining table seats 6.

Roads to the Summit are well paved and well maintained. You have a direct path down to Gatlinburg or you can avoid Gatlinburg using the bypass and go to Pigeon Forge. (Note: the roads are good, but getting to the top of the mountain is curvy.)

Family hiking vacation

In w/ family for a wedding

We all stayed here and had a lovely time. We were in for a family wedding and took in lots of sites as well. We were go, go, go, but it was nice to land at the condo w/ everyone!

The Summit stay

The condo was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! It was our first vacation, as a family in 12 years, and the condo was actually the most memorable part! Our children walked in and just GASPED in amazement! It was so quiet and comfortable, and the view was breathtaking!!!! We can't wait to come back!!!

Spring Break 2024

The property was a great!! There was plenty of space with our family of 5 and Grandma, who came along too. There were beautiful views from the balconies and only a 15 min drive to Gatlinburg and a 20 min drive to Pigeon Forge. The place was neat and clean and had all the amenities we needed. Since we have young kids we don’t eat out a lot and we were able to cook all our meals in the kitchen condo. The property had a small little playground that the kids loved. My only complaint was the indoor pool was under construction and my kids were not able to swim. Overall, we loved the place and would stay there again.

We are from the Middle TN area and have loved visiting Gatlinburg for years! We recently purchased this condo (June 2021) and we are currently updating and personalizing it. This is our second condo, both are in the Summit of Gatlinburg complex. We plan on spending a lot of time here enjoying the Smoky Mountains and making family memories.
