Located in the D building, this charming villa feels as if it is sitting on the beach. The living room (with sleeper sofa) and kitchen overlook the expansive beach. Open the sliding glass door to feel the ocean breeze! The first bedroom on the main level has a cute and cozy queen bed with private full bathroom. On the second floor, the luxurious queen master bedroom with large bathroom features overlooks the ocean. In addition, the second floor guest bedroom has a full bunk bed, a twin day bed and private porch overlooking the golf course. The Shipwatch community offers great amenities, including a seasonal community pool, a private play ground and direct community beach access. The D building also offers elevators and covered parking. The BEST vacation!

We had such a wonderful time! The condo is located right on the beach. The pictures and listing were accurate. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Loved the view, but the unit needed a deep clean

The place was great, but as stated it did need some TLC. Good news? I conveyed this to management and they told me they were removing this from unit circulation until it got the needed cleanup. The main issues were the handrail going up to the second floor (too yucky to touch) and the rim on the washing machine (one of the front loaders that tend to mold if not carefully attended). Aside from these things, we were on the 3rd/4th floor (master bed is on the second floor) and loved the view and the sound of the waves all day and through the night. So therapeutic! We came prepared to cook for about half of the nights we stayed and cooking in the kitchen was just fine. Don't plan on using any of the dry goods though - some items were dated from 2017! Bring whatever you need. Rent bikes! It's so flat and easy to ride around the resort! Oh, and this was the first time we rented from a property management company through VRBO (as opposed to an individual owner). It felt a little more like a hotel experience as a consequence; the place was more impersonal, that's all.
