18-Acre Hideaway: Hot Tub

Summary:

*This is a 5 BR house* Only 8 miles from historic Leipers Fork, this sprawling 3-story log home includes a wrap around deck, swimming pool hot tub, wood burning fireplace, fire-pit, grill, outdoor swing set, pool table, darts, poker/card table, wifi onsite! A great place to make memories with your friends & family, and also often used as a retreat for local Nashville/Franklin songwriters. No group functions with more than 17 guests! Pool closed from October to May 1st!



The Space:

Make memories to last a lifetime in this spectacular log cabin, nestled in the gently rollings hills of Franklin, TN. Just 30 miles from downtown Nashville, and only minutes from Historic Leipers Fork. This cabin was built on Ed Bruce's old place. Ed wrote the song, "Mama Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys" and with that success, he purchased some of the area's most desirable land! The Lyric Log House is set up for extended conversations around the fireplace, board games and puzzles in the game room, and enjoying a fresh cup of coffee on the deck. Outdoor activities include a swimming pool (open from Memorial Day to end of September), hot tub (open year-round), a fire pit, propane grill and 18 acres of land where you might see deer & turkey roaming freely.



The scale of the home is ideal for extended family gatherings and getaway vacations. The well-stocked kitchen and huge dining room is perfect for large family dinners. Curl up with a good book in the cozy sitting rooms or spend a quiet morning on your bedroom balcony, sipping tea and watching the birds begin their day. The remote setting will also allow you to enjoy the night sky with star gazing or a roaring bonfire.



The winding country roads leading to this secluded estate are picture postcard perfect. No wonder so many celebrities call this unique part of the Nashville area home. The proximity to Nashville's legendary Music Row also makes it the perfect temporary residence for recording artists and entertainment professionals looking for a little peace and quiet during their Nashville stay. The pastoral setting also makes the Lyric Lane cabin perfect for retreats or reunions. The reason why we state "not suitable for children" is because nothing in the house is child-proof! We don't have any child protection inside for the stairs, sockets, furniture, layout, etc and we don't have any child items, such as cribs, high chairs, sippy cups, etc. That being said, we have had plenty of guests come with children who have thoroughly enjoyed our home! We just want to make everyone aware of the fact that there is no child proofing! Children are welcome! (Limit 16 people total staying overnight).

Sleeping arrangements are as follow:

Main level: 1 King bed with full ensuite Bathroom. Half Bathroom in living area.

Upstairs: (2) Bedrooms with (2) full beds in each room plus 2 futon sleepers. Full bathroom

Downstairs: 1 King bed, 2 twins (bunk bed), 1 twin, 1 full Murphy bed. Full Bathroom

Living Room: 1 sleeper sofa

**PLEASE NOTE: Please remove any snow/ice/debris from the cover of the hot tub before attempting to open! Failure will do so may result in damages.



**Guests MUST read & accept house rules BEFORE booking!



The total price of the reservation is based on the nightly rate set by the host, plus fees or costs determined by the host or booking platform. Extra guest fee charged by some hosts for extra guests beyond a set number, which may fluctuate.





DISCLAIMER:

-Additional guests outside of your confirmed guest count are not allowed on our property unless pre-approved PRIOR to your stay.

-We have a zero tolerance policy on our property being used as a "home base" for parties or visitors to come & go.

-We have exterior cameras to verify who is entering our home.

-If you exceed your confirmed guest count, you will be asked to leave immediately and charged a $500 fine.

Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire property, jacuzzi hot tub, and pool (*pool and hot tub open from late April through November but subject to close earlier due to extreme cold weather*). The garage is not usable but there is ample parking for vehicles.

**Internet can be spotty at times, as we are in a remote location!



NO Golfing, putting, pitching or throwing or kicking of any balls or objects in or around the house!



Cleaners will be there promptly at 10am unless you previously arranged for a late check out!
