PROPERTY INFORMATION:

This three story building is located in a quiet, safe area of West End. West End is a charming, funky beach town that is a great mix of islanders, expats, and people on vacation. There are more than 30 restaurants, dive shops, gift shops, bars, and beaches just a short walk away from the property. The beautiful Half Moon Bay beach and "world famous" Sundowners Bar are just a 3 minute walk away.


Each floor is home to two large apartments. This is the ocean facing apartment. It has one bedroom one bathroom and has a full kitchen, dining area, and living room. The kitchen has custom made cabinets, a fridge, stove, coffee maker, toaster, and a lot of counter space. The living area has a flat screen TV with cable, sofa, and love seat. There is also AC in the bedroom.

The bedroom has a queen bed with comfortable mattresses, a large closet, air conditioning, and ensuite bathroom. We do have a spare twin bed that can be put in the living area. The apartment comes with everything you will need whether you are here for a week or a month. There is also a shared washer and dryer and propane BBQ.

Rates include all taxes, fees, wireless internet, and drinking water but do not include electricity.

Wonderful place

The apartment was very nice, in a quiet location with walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Communication with the host could have been better, but otherwise, a good place.

Our seventh trip to West End and this was our favorite place to stay. Maybe I shouldn't give it such a glowing review because we plan on staying there again on our next visit and I'll be really upset if you're in it and it's not available. Property is conveniently located just off the main drag in West End. It was in excellent condition and equipped with everything we needed and many things we didn't. Close to everything you'll need yet just far enough that you'll have peace and quiet

The building was a 3 story wooden structure. We stayed on the 3rd floor, unit #6. 1. There were no working smoke detectors. 2. No fire extinguishers. 3. No sprinkler system. 4. Only one exit from the 3rd floor, a set of stairs at the opposite end of the building. If a fire was in that area- you had no way out. The unit had everything for a comfortable stay.

Pefect stay in West End

Husky HIdeaway was the perfect spot for our month stay in West End. Close to "the action", but nice and quiet tucked away a couple of blocks from the bars and restaurants.

Ideal West End location at a great price

We loved the place, it was a couple minutes from the beach and dive stops. We love having our own apartment that is fully furnished and afforded us to cook our own meals. The rooms are spacious and clean with new furniture. The manager is always available and has many years of island experience to help travelers plan a wonderful visit to the island. We were just off the main street of West End and enjoyed the nightlife of the island. It is just a $3 water taxi ride from West Bay and is central to the dive sights on the north side of the island.

Excellent location!

Clean & breezy. We have stayed in many places in Roatan's West End and this was by far my favorite. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals which we did quite a bit. The layout was good, and we were able to dry our clothes quickly on the porches. The location was perfect, close to our dive shops and good snorkeling locations and some fantastic restaurants. The property manager is quick to respond. Going back again in a few weeks!

Great Bargain

This place is so well priced. We've stayed all over West End and West Bay and this is the best value we have found. The location is fantastic and is super quiet. The water view from our room was spectacular. The place is clean and very well maintained. It is also so much bigger than I thought it would be. There is a full kitchen and large living area. The bed is very comfortable. I can't wait to come back.
