Washing machine, tumble dryer, television, DVD player, high speed Internet. Very well equipped kitchen. Next to the owner's house. Two levels.

Nearby: nautical and river activities, hiking trails in the mountain, two golf courses (in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure), many cultural activities, sports, and leisure activities. Spain is 15 km away; the Biarritz airport is close, as well as the motorway A63 and the SNCF train linking Bordeaux and Spain.

Wonderful family reunion in a very special place

Our experience renting this property was easy. Communications were excellent. Photos and descriptions are accurate. This well-maintained heritage home is large and beautiful and is in a most remarkable setting. The area is steeped in history dating back to Neanderthal times! (Caves are a mere hour away by car.) There is much to see and do. The house is close to the Spanish border. Crossing is easy. EV’s are available to rent in Bordeaux if you want to avoid paying high gas prices. There is an outside electric plug to use for overnight charging for little cost.

Nous avons passé en famille d’excellentes vacances à Espeletenia. La maison est spacieuse et très agréable. L’environnement est superbe, au calme absolu et effectivement à seulement quelques minutes de Saint Jean et de la plage. Le propriétaire nous a de plus prodigué d’excellents conseils. Trois couples avec jeunes enfants, nous avons adoré l'endroit très calme à l'écart de la foule au bout d'une forêt de chênes avec vue sur la Rhune devant notre terrasse. Nos hôtes sont accueillants et bienveillants. La maison est pleine de jeux d'enfants variés pour tous les âges. Le gite est très bien équipé pour cuisiner pour des repas où on est nombreux. Merci encore, nous espérons revenir un jour :-)

Nous avons passé de belles vacances en famille (six adultes et quatre enfants). Accueil chaleureux de Corinne et Jean-Philippe Leremboure dont nous avons apprécié la grande disponibilité tout au long de notre séjour. Jolie maison de style basque, spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée. Elle est située dans un cadre idéal - les enfants qui ont pu jouer en toute liberté - avec une belle vue sur la Rhune et bien sûr les plages sont à proximité. À découvrir....

Magnifique gîte, bien agencé, dans un lieu merveilleux . Location impeccable, propre, fonctionnelle, pratique, jusqu'au moindre détail. Très bon accueil du propriétaire. Nous recommanderions chaleureusement cette location. La situation de ce gîte nous a permis de belles promenades alentour et bord de mer.

Cadre magnifique pour de belles vacances au calme

Nous avons passé trois semaines dans un havre de paix situé pourtant à deux pas de la côte et de la montagne, proche d'Urrugne et de Saint-Jean de Luz et de l'autoroute (A63, sortie n°2 Urrugne/Saint-Jean de Luz sud). La vue sur la Rhune est tout simplement magnifique. L'accueil des propriétaires, leur gentillesse, leur discrétion mais leur disponibilité sont irréprochables. Le fait d'être mitoyen avec leur propre maison n'est absolument pas un obstacle pour des vacances familiales, car les deux maisons sont légèrement décalées et chacun garde son intimité. La maison est très grande, les chambres du premier étage sont grandes et agréables, deux d'entre elles bénéficiant de la vue sur la Rhune. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Un vrai havre de paix dans une maison confortable

Corinne et Jean-Philippe ont été très accueillants. Ils ont été très réactifs à toutes les questions posées. La maison est très charmante avec une vue magnifique. Elle est parfaite pour l'accueil d'un petit groupe où chacun voudrait conserver son intimité. Je recommande vivement si vous voulez vous isoler de la côte sans en être trop loin (10-15 min)

Très belle maison basque en pleine nature

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre séjour dans cette superbe maison basque typique, située en pleine nature, dans un environnement très calme et sans vis-à-vis. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très accueillants: ils nous ont même conviés à un lancer de lanternes volantes la nuit du nouvel an, dans le jardin, avec nos enfants, c'était magique! L'emplacement donne une impression de bout du monde car c'est la dernière propriété du chemin, avec un énorme terrain et une vue magnifique sur la Rhune. Et pourtant, la maison est située à quelques minutes seulement des commerces, de l'accès à l'autoroute et de Saint Jean de Luz. A l'intérieur, il y a de très belles prestations et tout a été refait à neuf: vaste pièce cathédrale où crépite le feu dans une grande cheminée ouverte, 4 belles chambres, salles de bain confortables, meubles typiques et authentiques, jeux de sociétés, livres, jeux et DVD pour les enfants... Bref, nous reviendrons!

Why they chose this property

Espeletenia is a family home. The estate also includes a vast wooded area which we passionately maintain and cherish. Two farming families lived here until the 1980s, which is why there are two houses. We have just completed three years of renovation work. We occupy one of the houses and rent out the second one in order to share the estate and show its value.
