With over 1400 sq. feet of living space, LA SEA-ESTA has easy access to the beach and the Pointe West Beach Club. This spacious second floor beach front condo is the perfect place to take the family and relax for a beach getaway. Enjoy wonderful ocean views as well as beautiful sunrises from your private shaded balcony.

This condo offers a master bedroom has king bed; 2nd bedroom has 1 set of twin over full bunk & 1 twin bed, and 3rd bedroom features a queen bed. Sleeps 8 comfortably. 2 High Def LED TV's, WIFI, living room nicely decorated, Fully equipped kitchen, Everything you need for a great vacation!
A storage locker is provided with this unit.

Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds.

The Pointe West Beach Club is a privately owned facility and offers resort style amenities for guests who choose to purchase access. Use of these amenities is optional.
Resort Fee: $25 per person (ages 4+), per stay. *Beach club policy only allows 3 amenity bands per bedroom. It includes use of:
• Beach Club pool and seasonally heated Bayside pool with lazy river
• Hot tubs
• Basketball & Pickleball court and a modest game/exercise room
• Seasonal family activities are offered throughout the year.
• The Pointe Restaurant opens seasonally for lunch and dinner.

The Beach Club will email an invoice directly to you. After payment, wristbands may be picked upon arrival at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9 AM–5 PM.
Please note: The resort fee is nonrefundable, so we recommend waiting until closer to your arrival before purchasing.

Important: We manage the rental home only. We do not oversee the Beach Club, its amenities, the restaurant, pools, beach access, or elevators. Refunds and/or cancellations are not given for any closures they may experience.

•     All condos are accessible by stairs or elevator. If elevators are out of service, stair access will be required.

•     No prom, graduation, or high school groups, even with chaperones.

*31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased.
*Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully! These are located in the rental agreement.

Great Location!

The condo was perfect for our trip with family friends. All ages enjoyed the condo and amenities of Ponte West. We sat on the porch every day and enjoyed the amazing view. The walk to the beach was super easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for relaxing beach trip

We really enjoyed our time at the beach staying in this property. The property was in great shape and just as shown in the listing (even better than the photos, actually!). We were just before the spring break rush, and the beaches were empty, which was fantastic. We did not use any of the amenities, so can't comment on them.

Perfect beach getaway!

This condo was very comfortable for all nine of us! Probably the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental! Adorably decorated and just steps from the ocean or a pool! We enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the mornings watching the sunrise and dinner and drinks at the clubhouse next door!

We have stayed at various Pointe West condos throughout the years, but this one was the best. They had plenty of items that we needed throughout our stay and kept us from having to bring too much. We really appreciated their communication and hospitality! We would love to come back!

Fun with family

We loved our long weekend at this property!! It was a family getaway with kids, grandkids, and grandparents. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect! It was exceptionally clean which is of course, very important. The only negative thing I could say is that some of the furnishings are getting a bit outdated. But, everything was functional and we enjoyed staying here very much!!

The condo and location were great. Beatuiful view. The nonfunctioning elevator was not great. Reported it and was told it would be fixed tomorrow, then in two days, then they were supposed to be yesterday.

Annual Family Beach Vacation

We have vacationed at Pointe West for the last 3 years and this has been our favorite place of the three. The condo was very well stocked and very inviting. The beach views are wonderful and it is just steps from the clubhouse. You can see the pool from the balcony. We loved everything about our stay except that it was too short. The Pointe West area is a wonderful family vacation spot with a very clean and safe beach. The lazy river pool and infinity pool are wonderful. We will definitely keep coming back. Sitting out on the balcony in the mornings and afternoons were the most peaceful moments of our stay. The men of the crew enjoyed fishing every morning as the bay is right by the resort also. Definitely a very nice place and perfect for a family vacation.

Better than in the Pics!

The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s perfect!! A great location to the beach club which is one of the best things! The rooms were so comfortable and had that extra bit of room for everything!! There was 7 of us but easily this could have held more perfectly. The pool was so refreshing and clean. Having The Pointe Restaurant and 3rd floor bar right next door was so great. There’s another little restaurant we explored one night just 5 miles away called the Sandbar. It’s at the Marina heading back toward Galveston but it’s just a short drive from the resort. If you get tired of eating at The Pointe, you should check it out!! We will absolutely come here again.

Great Condo, Beach, and Pools

Home is amazing, well decorated, and welcoming. You almost have the beach to yourself. Two huge pools and one has a fun lazy river. As a workout fanatic the gym was nice as well. Condo is right next to pool/club house which is convenient. Host was friendly and provided great communication. Would have given a 5 star but a fre things were out of service. The elevator was broken, the restaurant was closed, and the smack bar closed midstay. For families looking for a great condo and resort away from the city and traffic this is your place. Would stay again. Before you buy boogie boards, tents, or brach chairs, check the storage unit in the garage. We left a ton of stuff and found some stuff to use.

Family trip

The unit was very clean and well stocked. Bed were comfortable. The location to the beach club was both a blessing and a curse. Close to get to the pool but also close to construction, clubhouse music, and the generator on the weekend food truck. Sleep was difficult during our particular stay due to outside noises. A nearby construction dumpster door was left open and pounded in the wind all night. We reported to owners and clubhouse only to have my husband go out and fix it himself the second night. Prior to booking would recommend looking into current construction. Otherwise the resort was beautiful and well maintained. It is 25-30 minutes to Galveston activities.

The majority of guests to the community of Pointe West enjoy being in the promixity of the Beach Club pool. The pool is open 9a to 10p, during the day music is played at a comfortable level for guests at the pool. The community has a strict 10p quiet zone rule. During your stay high-winds and weather did prevail which probably caused the noise you mentioned. The onsite restaurant was in the final stages of a renovation and that is were the dumpster was located. The Pointe West community is known for it's peaceful surroundings as well as its spacious and private beach; away from the Seawall tourist zone. No elevator the whole stay

The elevator broke the first day. We were with no Elevator the whole trip. We have three young kids and had to haul all our luggage 3 flights of stairs for three days. The restaurant and bar on site was advertised as a big perk, which was also out of commission the whole stay. The pool lacked shaded areas for my wife to feed my seven month old. The only shaded areas had to be reserved at the front desk, which is ridiculous. Add around $600 a night I’d say we did not get what we paid for. Might as well had gone to a Holiday Inn express. A lot of stairs and not enough ramps or working elevators are for people with young kids in strollers. Good thing I didn’t bring my elderly parents. If you want to advertise as a luxury condominium, invest in it to work as one. The unit was dirty. Our feet were black after walking around the unit.

Thank you for your feedback. We always want our guests to experience a great vacation and appreciate hearing where we can make a improvements. Unfortunately, most of the issues mentioned are outside of our control. We do try to resolve any issues we are made aware of during your stay. The elevator in the building, during a portion of your stay, had a mechanical issue that required services of an elevator repair company (required by law) and a part replacement. While we realize this is not ideal, it is something we note in all of our listings and reservations confirmations that elevators are not to be relied upon and stairs maybe required. The onsite restaurant/bar is closed for remodeling. The Beach Club, who manages resort amenites, is working diligently to reopen as soon as possible, weather and material delays have caused some setbacks. In the meantime they do schedule Food Trucks to visit the resort on various days. There are numerous local restaurants nearby as well as delivery available. We are all eagerly awaiting the newly remodeled restaurant. The resort is undergoing enhancements to make future stays even better. We are notifying guests prior to arrivals of any updates given by the community. We are always accessible to address any housekeeping needs, we ask that guests please make us aware so that we can correct during your stay. We passed along your suggestion of the Sun Shade to the Beach Club management company; that would make a lovely addition and we hope they agree. Cabanas are available for rentals and like most pools must be reserved. Unlike a hotel room, La Sea Esta is a vacation rental that offers plenty of room for family and friends to spread out and soak up beautiful gulf views from the spacioius and private balcony. Great beach get-away!

We had a super trip, and the property was just as expected. It worked well for our two families of four, even with 4 teenage cousins all staying in the "bunk room" together. The porch was our favorite part, with great seating and a marvelous view. The beach was easy to access with just a "wagon" we brought from home. The pool/hot tub were often really busy, and we didn't spend a lot of time there, but did enjoy the game room. We didn't eat at the restaurant either. We were happy with it all!

Awesome! Property was very clean and easy to get into. Loved our stay and would return. We had one complication – we were under the impression from written condo materials prior to renting that we would get wristbands for everyone based on how many people were sleeping in the property (10 for one unit 11 for the other.) However, we were told by a condo staff that we were only allowed a certain number of bands per bedroom. This was definitely not our impression prior to leasing.

Perfect condo = perfect vacation

Excellent condo, clean and comfortable. Kid friendly... we had 3 kids under 4 and it was great. Everything you could need to cook is available. Great views and easy access to both the beach and the pool/club house. The balcony was relaxing. Will definitely stay again!
