Our family vacation at Jewel of the Gulf was beyond excellent! The ease of check-in to the check out process was awesome. The rooms were very well maintained, clean, and relaxing. Beautiful home on a quiet beach

We enjoyed our time at this Jewell. Our large group slept comfortably with room to spare. Loved the quiet beach, soft sand, and having one of the only houses in the area with a pool. Great stay!

This is a sweet place to stay if you have a lot of people. I was amazed that I could rent it for only two nights which was exactly what we needed! The floors were sandy and the upstairs had a bit of a musty smell but also we were at the beach where sand is all around and it’s very humid and I don’t think the air is controllable. That being said.. an extra sweep and mop would’ve been nice for our arrival. Furniture is well loved and worn in. AC worked great! Elevator was a little tricky… but I am not sure I want to use another multi level house without one! Check in and out was so very smooth! Would absolutely go back!

Awesome House for a Big Family Getaway!

This property was perfect for our annual family beach vacation! The house was clean and the perfect size for our group. The pool was bigger than other houses on the beach that we have rented in the past, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms were roomy. Best of all, the beach was beautiful and not crowded a bit, even in June! Overall a wonderful trip! We will definitely book this property again!

Beverly Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family—this is our first time in a beachfront home with a pool. We’re probably spoiled now! Loved lounging in the pool here, especially since the ocean had a jellyfish infestation. We were finally able to get in the ocean on our last day. The pool was a lifesaver!

Family vacation

Location and overall floor plan was excellent. The house is in need of repairs. Dishwasher, doors, flooring, deep clean, towel racks, clothes dryer and other issues need attention. We had a wonderful time but felt the house was not the quality for the price at all.

Family Get Together

There were 20 adults and 10 Grandchildren, all age 5 and under. Nice house with plenty of room. Having a pool was wonderful, and being right on the beach, was a plus. The elevator came in very handy too. We had some initial issues, but Prickett Management was timely. The stove and oven tend to overheat and there was a musty smell throughout the house, but overall, it was a very nice place to stay. We would defintely consider a return trip.

Yearly Beach Trip

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at The Jewell of the Gulf. The entrance walkway from house to the beach was perfect for my 80 year old mother who was recovering from knee surgery. The condo has 3 refrigerators which was key for our large family and a large dining table for nightly dinners. The fact that it had an ice machine was also ultra helpful. The oven needs some TLC though. The bedrooms instead of chairs need dressers , so you are not living out of your suitcase all week, but again a lovely place and a lovely time were had by all!

Jewell of the Gulf

The master on the top floor needs a dresser of some sort. Not any drawer space. Not enough towels and wash clothes. The leg is broken off of a chair in one of the bedrooms and the dishwasher is a disaster. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Perfect for small children.

Decent place

The location of the property and the house itself were beautiful. The only issues we ran into is having to buy more cup towels (property only provides 2 and house sleeps 28) and that the oven does not work properly. The oven was a big issue as we made meal plans weeks before coming and half of our meals were ruined because we needed the oven. We will return and hope the issue is fixed before then. Overall would recommend and stay again.

The home has a hidden mold problem. There was a distinct mold smell when we walked in the house, until we let it air out for 2 hours. Water was dripping from AC vents and running down the walls from showers on the above floor. The BBQ pit was flipped upside down with mold growth on wet charcoal. Patio furniture was in poor shape, and there were beach toys from a previous renter. The toys did not bother us, but we do not want to be held responsible for leftover items. Pool and beach access were great for kids of all ages.
