The Veranda is an elegant, upscale home designed for weddings, family gatherings, retreats, and larger groups, situated on the beach in Gulf Shores. The 100-foot Gulf-front lot offers panoramic views of the turquoise waters, making it the perfect location for special events.

Thanks to the design team, including a nationally renowned architect, the home combines modern luxury with local charm. Key features include a shaded veranda, ‘haint’ blue porch ceiling, oak flooring, Alabama marble in the powder rooms, and regional artwork. The interiors, with natural hues and beach-inspired accents of blues and greens, blend seamlessly with the outdoor environment. The inclusion of an elevator enhances accessibility, making the property suitable for guests of all ages and mobility levels. A beautiful dune walkover connects the house directly to the beach.

The ground level includes a large open area under the house with recessed ceiling lights and electricity. The property is equipped with an integrated sound system, providing high-quality sound across various areas of the house, deck areas and ground level, ideal for hosting parties or receptions. Stairs or the elevator lead up to the main level. The main level deck features a heated swimming pool and outdoor kitchen.

On the main level, an open floor plan provides versatile seating arrangements for large groups. All 10 bedrooms feature luxurious beds, private baths, flat-screen TVs, ceiling fans, bedside reading lights, and electronic outlets, with water views of the Gulf, Lagoon, or both.

The third floor has 5 bedrooms, including two directly Gulf-front. The living/media room on this floor offers a cozy space with seating and electronic amenities, allowing groups to enjoy different movies or presentations. The deck extends the full width of the house, with sun decks at the east and west ends, offering additional space for receptions. A queen-sized sleeper sofa is available in the media room.

The fourth floor is a private retreat and is perfect for wedding couples. There is also a cozy living room space which includes a large L-shaped sofa (with sleeper bed), a wet bar, small refrigerator, ice machine and a microwave. One bedroom boasts an oversized shower and walk-in-closet, and the other a jacuzzi tub, and each bedroom has a comfortable king bed. The living room is equipped with an ethernet connection and workspace. The top Gulf-side deck offers breathtaking views of the coastline.

For larger events or gatherings, The Veranda can be combined with its sister property, Veranda Laguna, a 6-bedroom estate just across the street. Together, these two homes offer unparalleled flexibility, with both Gulf and Lagoon front access, two heated pools, and parking for over 20 vehicles. These properties can accommodate 46+ guests in 16 bedrooms, offering plenty of space for large family vacations or multi-family get-togethers.
