Nice Family Spot

There were a few minor things broke when we arrived such as the toilet paper holder, the lock/handle on the bathroom doors, and a few other things but the stay was fantastic. The kids enjoyed the pools, lazy river, little water park, and hot tub. Also, had a very nice very of the ocean! Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Perfect location

Honestly, this everything we could have asked for and more. The balcony runs across the whole unit, so both bedrooms and the living room have their own sliding glass door which is a blessing. The layout was perfect and allowed privacy. Washer and dresser was a plus. The resort has a really nice beach area, lazy river, splash pad with a water playground, two pools, and a hot tub. Seriously, perfect. We will try for this same unit every year.

About the room

The room was great just a couple thing the masterbed in the masterbed room Fran was broke so bed was on a slant made it not the best to sleep in and the elavators in the hotel are horrible but other then that had a great time

Great stay

Very happy with the unit. We did have an issue with the dishwasher but maintenance helped out quickly. I would have given all 5 stars however when we arrived I had to sweep the floors as there was food everywhere and we had a toddler under 2 who didn’t understand not to put it in her mouth. Other than that I would stay again

Splash

This property was well maintained offering plenty of space. I would recommend a smart tv or 3. The view was beautiful. Splash was created with children in mind. My 3 year old had the best vacation, loved the splash area, the covered pool area and the lazy river. Make sure to keep shoes on though, the uncovered pool deck will burn your feet. Overall a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay here again.

furniture was in realy poor condition,some tiles on floor is broken,send was everywhere right after cleaning was done,sofas in living room realy nasty,befor u put our stuff in drawers we have to clean it realy good,no soap for washer or dishwasher even start kit,and some another thing little bid of everything.But good location,and nice beach

Panama City trip November 2021

The property was very nice. The check-in process was awkward. We arrived at 4 p.m. and the Splash Gift Shop was closed. We went back at 2 p.m. the next day and the gift shop was closed, we spoke to someone at the vacay desk and she called the person to tell her someone was waiting, the Splash rep came a few minutes later and said she'd be with us in a few minutes, she went into the restroom. She was a little bit rude. I asked a couple of questions and she said you need to tell someone else, she wouldn't even listen to the question.....the coffee table in the unit had two small legs off & laying under the table that made it wobbly and I wanted to know if I would receive a credit for the damage deposit once the unit was checked when we departed. She was completely unhelpful? Also, it was dark when you stepped into the pedway check-in area at night. It felt very unsafe.

Room was nice great location.

We had 19 people coming on our Christmas vacation so we had 2 rooms when first planning we ran in to some issues with our first location due to renovations being done and one of the rooms they cancelled unfortunately when we booked initially we didn’t realize they were 2 different companies we booked through so when calling and trying to figure out a better property that would fit our large party we ran into some problems. The guy that runs the company is the only point of contact while when having an issue is what I was told that by some workers there his name is Bob and he was very rude and knows nothing of customer service I could not believe the way he talked to me and my aunt if this was my property I would never allow him to be in control of it he refused to call me and only wanted to go by emails and it took 4 days longer to get the problem fixed then what was needed. The room needs a deep cleaning I understand the turn around time may not be long enough but It had a lot of dirt everywhere we honestly ended up cleaning it right away when we arrived because of the days they weren’t in the office and it wasn’t a emergency the first night we didn’t get to swim due to no bracelets being at the condo when checking in they did send someone when I emailed this information around 8 pm with bracelets for the pool but by then it was almost closing time for the pool. The most important thing I would say is to learn customer service and realize customers are why you have a business and talk to them with respect, I will never rent with an emerald coastal property again because of that reason alone.

Condo was great for families. We really enjoyed our stay. You can tell it is a well loved unit by families with kids. The childproof balcony locks were damaged but our kids knew they must have an adult to go out. We've stayed at Splash before but in smaller units. I loved this being a corner unit with a large balcony. We would stay here again!

In general I will say the property is in good location, but the place is old. The is obvious that was done some improvements, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, the living room furniture was old and unclean. You cannot enjoy sitting in the living room, for kids sleeping place, is not bedroom, there is not a door and it is noisy because closed to air condition units. I would not like to rent this condo again.

The room needs a deep clean there it’s lots dust in multiple dryer vent was really bad. Couch is pretty gross. Bed in second room is very loud. Looks like maybe mold on bathroom walls in second room. Elevators are terrible which is not the owners fault! Overall we enjoyed our stay if thing were updated we would definitely come back.

Unsafe elevator incident turned our vacation into a nightmare

While the room itself was nice, our overall experience was deeply distressing and has left lasting emotional effects on our family.During our stay, my 6-year-old son and my diabetic father-in-law became stuck in an elevator for over an hour. Thankfully, the elevator was not crowded at the time, but during the rest of our stay, the elevators were consistently packed due to only two being available for a 21-floor building. There was no air conditioning or ventilation in the elevators, and to make matters worse, the emergency call button did not work.My son was screaming, and it was only because other guests heard him that staff were alerted. Hotel employees eventually pried the doors open, but no emergency responders were ever called. This lack of protocol is unacceptable and extremely unsafe.This incident turned what was supposed to be a fun family vacation into a traumatic experience. My son is still dealing with the emotional impact of what happened. I’m sharing this review in the hope that the resort will take immediate steps to improve safety measures and emergency response protocols so that no other family has to go through what we did.

Cute condo with perfect layout

The layout of the condo is perfect for 2 families! We were not super impressed with the cleanliness when we arrived. The resort itself was very accomodating for the range of ages of children we had with us. Elevators were slow on peak time (4-6) only on the weekend. Otherwise, very doable for the size of the resort. Would definitely stay again!

Unit Building

As much as we loved this beautiful unit, we unfortunately vowed to never stay in this building again. It was a rough week anytime we left the room. The biggest problem was the elevators. At one point, half of our family was stranded 15 floors down away from our family. We were there for over an hour before the first responders and staff got one of the elevators working. One time, myself, my wife and children were riding it and it stopped before dropping a few inches. We seriously thought we were going to die in there. Like I said, the elevators were just one issue. We also noticed multiple roaches by the pools, rats under the steps. Also hated how far of a walk the parking was. With 5 small children, this was tough. Overall though, we loved the actual condo. Just wish it was in a building.
