ABOUT THE APARTMENT:
This a freshly renovated 18th century apartment in a building (+new elevator) which has been reconstructed as well.
I am very much into interior design so this place is my second attempt to furnish a stylish apartment. I bought pictures by some of the greatest Czech Artists (originals by Jiri Komarek, Anderle, Jan Zrzavy) and combined them with reproduction of the great Masters such as Picasso and Gustav Klimt. I attempted to choose artists who have lived or been to Prague at some point in their career.
I wanted the apartment to have an air of a lofty, spacious, bright and clear place, so I tried not to overdo it with decoration and furniture. Attention has been paid to small details.
Everything is brand new with regard to the 18th century original (floor, ceiling etc) The ceiling of this apartment is 3.25m.
SLEEPING OPTION:
3 single beds in the bedroom (one is not in the pictures)
a pull out sofa which sleeps 2 people and is 160x200cm (very comfortable for daily sleeping)
EQUIPMENT:
The apartment is fully equipped.
- Hair Dryer
- Shampoo
- Coffee Maker
- Electric Kettle
- Several types of tea (Earl Grey, Lipton, Green Tea & Fruit Tea)
- Instant Coffee, several types of coffee
- Sugar, Salt & Pepper
- Umbrella
- Iron and Ironing Board
- Toilet Paper and Paper Towel
- Washer
- Extra bed linens (Pillow Cases, Bed Sheets & Comforter Cover)
- Clean towels (Each guest will receive 1 set of bath and hand towel.
The apartment has a fully-fitted kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge, utensils, etc.), separate toilet, separate closet (wardrobe).
Feel free to help yourself with what's available in the kitchen. Some items may vary from time to time. If you replenish what you consume, it is appreciated but if you don't, it is fine.
LOCATION:
In the vicinity of the apartment all major sights and all means of transport:
Wenceslas Square 3 minutes on foot
The National Theater 5 minutes on foot
The Old Town Square 7 minutes on foot
Charles Bridge within 12 minutes on foot
In this area, there are many restaurants, convenience store and a huge shopping mall right accross the street from the apartment. The apartment is on a direct line from the airport (Mustek metro stration) and from the train station as well (tram 9)
In order to make your check in and check out as smooth as possible, please do read carefully the information below.
CHECK-OUT AT 11AM:
As for the check out, it is always at 11am. Please make sure you leave the apartment at 11am latest. You can either leave the keys on the kitchen table and close the door or give the keys to me directly. The cleaning of the apartment will start immediately at 11am so that it will be ready for the next guest at 3pm to check in. The minimum time we need for cleaning is 4 hours. I make every effort to meet your needs so if you need an early check in or to extend your check out, please let me know and I will do my best. There are of course no charges for late check-outs or checkins.
CHECK-IN AT 3PM:
Check-in is always after 3pm on the day of your arrival. There is always an exception to the rule so during the low season (end of October till end of November / late January early March) it is usually possible to check you in earlier and check out later. During the high season, it is rarely possible to check in earlier but still, I try hard to accommodate you as early as possible. Again, there are of course no charges for early check ins or check-outs.
CLEANLINESS:
Cleanliness is my nr. 1 priority, therefore, unlike in hotels, I clean pillows, blankets but even mattresses, sofas and carpets regularly with a special water-cleaning method. Upon request, I provide anti-allergic pillows for people sensitive to feathers.
Interaction with guests
I almost always meet and welcome guests to the apartment. My check-ins are full of information and tips about Prague and the local area. I take time to show guests around the apartment and provide information about the kitchen appliances and washing machine.
I always try to meet guests to help them check out, however sometimes guests have really early flights, in which case guests would check themselves out of the apartment and leave keys on the table.
Late checkout can be available upon request subject to the arrival time/date of the next guest. If an early check-in or late check-out is not available, then there are local (10 minutes away) secure lockers available 24/7 for storage of baggage if required.
